Installing Rock Sliders on 2003 Nissan Patrol GU3 Turbo Diesel

In this video I basically show how I removed my old original side steps and in place of them installed rock sliders purchased from Dominator 4x4.
The original side steps were pretty lightweight and prone to damage and bending if and when they ever came in contact with solid objects such as rocks, outcropping tree stumps or the like, these new rock sliders are made from 3.2mm thick 50mm steel pipe and are made to withstand those types of impacts much easier.

Got them from Dominator4x4, (it's in the description above) prices may vary slightly for particular series Patrol but expect to pay 500 to 600 for the pair, go to their site and the prices will be there. Thanks for watching.

Hey mate would you recommend any other ways to move the brake + fuel lines out of the way? Did bending them affect the vehicle at all?

Looking back at the date I can't believe it's been over 3 years now I installed these lol, no Joe, off hand I don't know of any other way, there have been no problems whatsoever moving those lines they way I did at all, knock on wood ;), good luck and take care.
