On that jig, replace the treble with a single hook and you will loose fewer fish.

Can you tell me about the rod and reel you are using and the line on the reel? It looks like a Vansteel reel. Could not make out the rod? Guessing 6.5' or 7' medium heavy?

How bout only use one rod at a time especially when fishing for larger fish. Same thing when out with your uncle. Too much clutter. Good content, but declutter.
