The Jeep guru. Dennis took the time to call me back with an answer about my CJ. I wasn’t buying anything. He genuinely wanted to answer my question. Greatly appreciated.
Anyone else think Dennis and Coffee Walk are OUTSTANDING!?!?!? Much love from Ashland City TN! My wife and i have been binge watching Dennis! Hope you, Kelsey, the wife, as well as the whole team are doing great! Plz keep the content coming y'all! #615 #☕🚶
May GOD continue to bless Denis and crew. He is always more than fair in his negotiations, unpretentious. It is nice see his knowledge and integrity throughout the Coffee Walks.
My favorite thing about Friday mornings? A new episode of Coffee Walk! That white CJ5 is gorgeous; I would love to get another CJ5 with a soft top and soft doors. When I moved to Dallas, after college in 1985, I had a killer ‘80 CJ 5. It was so fun to just roll up the back window, pull off the doors and stick them in the back seat, and hit the road. Great stuff.
Thank you, Dennis. When I was kid, my father had a 1980 Cherokeekee Golden Eagle, 360 V-8, auto, PB,PS, no air, with the brush guard up front. With quadra-Trac. Over the years I look at Golden eagle jeeps or see pictures and the brown color has never been the color I remember it. Thanks you and coffee walk. I just learned, among other facts. Apparently, my dad's Jeep color code 9P Bordeaue Metalic. Which, is a rare very rare color. That cleared up my confusion after all these years.
Dennis, I always like watching your videos; purchase, barn finds etc. I honestly love this style of video the best, when you sharing your knowledge and love of all Jeep.
I’m surprised I like these videos as much as I do. I enjoy seeing old cars come back to life - I’m not a Jeep guy - I watch every episode. I like listening to Dennis describe the cars and the quality of work from his shop. I don’t live nearby but I’d like to come by the shop someday. Good stuff.
Can't believe that I missed this earlier. I now realize that I was changing an oil filter that rusted through and started leaking after 6 months on my Town Car and led a friend who is a mechanical novice through a brake job on a Chrysler minivan. Another informative and enjoyable video Dennis. You are the man. I think that you are the most knowledgeable Jeep guy out there.
they are beautiful - luv the cj walkarounds , almost bought new cj7 around 1980, dont remember them being so expensive, bought new off show room floor 89 YJ for $12,300 Canadian (about $9000 USD today), it (then) had tilt + interm wipers , 1/2 doors, 258 6cyl 20 gallon tank, center console and AM only radio you couldn't reach or hear over 30mph, still have the jeep today and it can still pound the pavement to Rubicon trail or Moab "and" back (2000-2500 miles) - its me that needs a rebuild ;)
Dennis is a unicorn in a world of slick car dealers. His knowledge and honesty are truly rare today. We have a small city Jeep/Dodge/Ram/Ford dealer that is very similar. Years ago we ordered the first PT Cruiser in the south central zone from them and actually got a discount from list. We were offered a large sum of money to give up the car but took delivery. Was a cool little car at the time. Nothing like it today with as much utility and cool looks. It needed more HP but ok for in town..
I believe I delivered the Red Jeep to Tyler Texas from West Virginia in 2017. I remember the low mileage and my pictures are exact to the video. Nice to see it again.
Awesome jeeps! I have a California 86 CJ7, 6 cyl with Mopar MPFI, Hard Top, AC, Hard Top, D44, Tach and Clock. She still brings a smile to my face even after 21 years!
I’ve loved Jeep’s all my life.Bought a new 84 cj7 Laredo in 1984.Dated in it,meet my wife in it.Don’t have it now but have always had Jeeps.Have a 93 islander now.Enjoy your videos!
Those Jeeps are beautiful. That black Laredo is stunning, but I’m really partial to the Alpine White CJ5. Once again, I learned something new; I have the “stitched” shift knob for my T150...but it’s not on my Jeep. It will be tomorrow!😎 Great episode!
I have a blue Jeep CJ7 Lorado I ordered. I took delivery in November of 1979. Yep, 41 years. I’ve tried to keep the body original. It has a factory hard top, spare tire carrier, original black with the gray stripe seats. I put Chevy 350 with an Advance adapter kit in 1993. It has just over 97000 miles on it and it has never been wrecked. I put a dana 44 rear differential in it after Katrina in 2005 because of issues with water and brake pads. Long story. Wish I could add a picture.
Its just such a treat seeing these wonderful CJs brought back to their former glory. I watch these videos with a sense of awe and a good bit of envy. Your knowledge and expertise is amazing. P.S. I bought one of your power brake boosters for my CJ7, works great. Now I can stop with confidence. jim
Unbelievable Jeeps and the luv affair your company has with them is unmistakable. In 1883 I bought my first new vehicle and it was a 1983 Jeep CJ 7 Limited, Slate Metallic Blue with a 5 speed manual transmission coupled to a inline 6 cylinder 258 engine and It cost me $10, 950.50 which was a lot of money for me an Airman in the United States Air Force. I would love to have another one if you know of one available.
Great job on those two Laredo CJ-7s. I drove many of them for many miles. I had about a half dozen of the "Last CJ" dash plaques as they sent them to us because some of the CJs were shipped before they got the plaques so they were shipped sans plaques. Now I need to find out what I did with them. I put them away so I wouldn't lose them. 🙄
Back in 94 (I was 20yrs old) I bought my Grandfather's 77 cj5 Levi's edition 3spd 6cyl for $800. it had every option except a/c...I traded it for a 58 Willys cj5 that had a 327 out of 67 junkvette in it...the head gaskets went south within the first month I had it while I was deer huntin waaaaay out in the middle of nowhere Mendocino County, CA...I'll never own another GM product again...
I don’t know which model I have. It’s got a brown dash, high back seats. T-176, 6 cyl. Although It now has a 304. It also has a full shrouded plastic gas tank. I guess it may be a 20 gal tank
I have always been a Jeep CJ guy and am fortunate to own 2 unmolested/original 1986 Jeep CJ7 Laredo's with the Dana 44 rear ends. Neither one has the "Last of a Great Breed" dash plagues........Curious, I did some research and from what I gather, they were provided to the dealer and it was up to them to add the as an incentive to move them off the lot since the new Wranglers were arriving.
I bought a CJ-7 in '79 with a 308(?) motor. Gas hog. I drove it with a friend to CA and sold it there. We went over the continental divide. Hippie days.
Why did I sell my 1956 Willys CJ5 with a 67 Dauntless V6? I miss it! Saw it for the first time in 2 years just a few weeks ago at Oceanside Beach, CA during a buddy’s wedding when it drove by just as the couple were exchanging vows. Took every ounce of restraint I had not to jump up and scream “Hey there’s my old CJ! Look everybody! Look!” Lol...
Was in the store on Monday for some door latches, Dennis waited on me! Super nice guy, answered some questions on an 80 model cj 7 decals for me. Check them out of your ever near there.
Not really a jeep guy but that red one is badass! At 6'4 they feel a little small for me. But you guys do a fantastic job on those older units both stock or modified! Thanks for sharing!
loved my old 1980 CJ7 w 4 speed. So much fun (and rust). Great video and loved the attention to detail. My 80 still had the Jeep stamp with the "e" centers fully stamped. I understand that Jeep always used the same stamp and in the early 80s, it started to wear and the "e" in the stamping became solid and lost the center indents. Any truth to that rumor?
I know why he likes jeeps so much now, the bumper is flat enough to sit his coffee on😂, I wonder how long it takes him to find his coffee after he sits it down?
The Jeep guru.
Dennis took the time to call me back with an answer about my CJ. I wasn’t buying anything. He genuinely wanted to answer my question.
Greatly appreciated.
stuff like that is why this man is successful and will remain that way
That is the true spirit of a Jeeper.

I’m learning this everyday.
2020 is our inaugural year.
Here is a guy who can and does drive everything and his passion is the CJ. Love it.

Beautiful Jeeps, all of them. Best place to buy a proper Jeep. Thanks Dennis for another great video.

I'm not even a Jeep guy but his knowledge is amazing 👍👍

That black one is awesome. The low mile red is too. Nice.
Fun video thanks Dennis!

Nice CJs. Would like my ‘81 CJ5 to look like the white one
I don’t know which model I have. It’s got a brown dash, high back seats. T-176, 6 cyl. Although It now has a 304. It also has a full shrouded plastic gas tank. I guess it may be a 20 gal tank
Those 86's!!!!! Wow
Great info as usual Dennis
I have always been a Jeep CJ guy and am fortunate to own 2 unmolested/original 1986 Jeep CJ7 Laredo's with the Dana 44 rear ends. Neither one has the "Last of a Great Breed" dash plagues........Curious, I did some research and from what I gather, they were provided to the dealer and it was up to them to add the as an incentive to move them off the lot since the new Wranglers were arriving.
Also, of interest----that on both Jeeps, the AMC badge (located on right rear corner) is missing
The black Laredo is 🥰🥰🥰
Ever get any postal jeeps down there?
Love the coffee walk. Great information.
I bought a CJ-7 in '79 with a 308(?) motor. Gas hog. I drove it with a friend to CA and sold it there. We went over the continental divide. Hippie days.
I would love to he your personal collection Denise !!!

Outstanding video!
Well done!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I just bought a 2021 Rubicon in a color very similar to that Golden Eagle 🦅
Wow ! All this beautiful Jeep’s 🤩👌🏻
I owned the 86 with a 44 rear-end and I didn't have the last of a great breed plaque.
Me encantan los JEEP.
Nice rides
bellissima ...anche questa le jeep sono favolose .....come si fa a prenderne una .....??
I just got a 1985 Jeep cj7 base model. With only 96,xxx miles. And a new engine because the little 4 banger was so weak.
You left out the poor Scrambler 😜
Stellar
Not really a jeep guy but that red one is badass! At 6'4 they feel a little small for me. But you guys do a fantastic job on those older units both stock or modified! Thanks for sharing!
loved my old 1980 CJ7 w 4 speed. So much fun (and rust). Great video and loved the attention to detail. My 80 still had the Jeep stamp with the "e" centers fully stamped. That looks like the jeep from Wheeler Dealer
Awesome jeep's 👍🏾🤙🏼
Dennis Hope one day you can restore my 86 cj7 one the last of the Great Breed, with a dana44 and all the options.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 CONTENT
Where doors painted black to line up with the hard tops from the factory?
I know why he likes jeeps so much now, the bumper is flat enough to sit his coffee on😂, I wonder how long it takes him to find his coffee after he sits it down?
I would like to see a full restoration video
Why is Texas so far away. From Atlanta Need them to help finish my 84 CJ7.
The brown renegade on the lift that’s the one I want to see
