Out of all the guns I've shot, the 240 Bravo is definitely my favorite and I miss shooting it.

Not wearing your helmet increases your combat effectiveness by up to 80%..another %20 with shades on...But a direct hit to the head without your helmet?.. will reduce your combat effectiveness to -100% ...
It absolutely will help. If it gets a direct hit then your right. But if it hits at an angle, which happens often then it could very well save his life. I would expect someone in 10th mountain to know better and go in to the fight with full gear.
usually when it hits at an angle, it wouldnt have even hit him in the head in the first place, and gives him a concussion that he wouldn't have had before. Doesn't even matter, helmet is for shrapnel and shit anyway.

for all of those that are concerned with him using time to set up a camera... getting into these engagments is a part of life, im not saying its everyday but its something that you get adapted to being in, taking a couple seconds to set up his camera to record something he can keep with him for life is important. Once you are no longer in the shit (as I am) those little clips helps you hold onto what you where once involved in.

That was my favorite weapon system next to the m4 I carried. You can hit targets a long way by adjusting to the tracer rounds every 3rd one. That thing was more fun to shoot then a 249 the 25 mm on the Bradley or a m2 .50. Thing was just fun to shoot. Miss it a lot.

If I'm not mistaken, i believe this soldier in the video is 10th Mountain Division. The patch with the two clashing swords on his left shoulder is the 10th Mountain Div. patch.

They most likely were in a man made base and he took it off then they started shooting on their position and he didn't have time to grab it

I served in Iraq. Never would I think of trying to set up my camera during the middle of a fire fight and try to be sure to get the best shot of myself. On top of that this soldier is using one hand on the 240 looking like Arnold but smaller. Stability on the 240 is part of shooting fundamentals. No offense to this video but come on now, worry about the enemy and not making sure your in the video. Perhaps it would have been better had you set the camera on the sandbags looking outward? Or is that just me?

The ach will not stop a 7.62 round. It will only catch your brains on the way out
pakman184 very valid point! The ach is capable of stopping fragmentation from grenades and capable of deflecting small rounds when hit at an angle. But if the enemy is using an ak then it is more than likely chambered in 7.62 which would easily go thru the ach
