There's never been a better moment than now
A word of advice to anyone buying of these, they're amazing value for money, so fast and they move with almost precision steering. However, u go driving it over uneven surfaces, potholes, speed humps etc, u r gonna quickly break the three stem screws that hold the handlebars to the deck, it is a really annoying problem and quite difficult to fix. The bolts are like 1 inch, and they think that is supposed to hold the stem in the longterm. It has a badly designed stem, which breaks after about a week riding. Other than that its amazing

After repairing the main stem with bigger bolts and JB weld, I can report that I have travelled over 320 miles on this scooter. They were VERY happy miles. However now after so many miles the battery is weak AF. It doesn't last as long and the speed is noticeably declining😭😭😭 I need a new battery now which is a bit pricey. Or should I just upgrade???

Iv had this scooter a week now and I love it. It takes my weight fine and I'm 14/15 stone lol takes hills with no problems I get around 20km range that's on gear 3 would get more on lower gear. But all in all a great buy for the price range it's like my own portable moped. Gets u places fast if you're thinking twice on getting this don't it's a really good buy.
im 22 stone and goes really well, its not mine i got it for my son he`s just over 100kilo`s so perfect for him but i had to have a go, and the power the things got is mental, we had a race the other day.. im on my pushbike hitting just over 27 mph.. and he just overtakes me.. im like you gota be joking..!! shown him the race mode when sitting on the seat to have elbows tucked in, knees together and head down gained 3mph ;) standing up you just act like a parachute and hits 25mph on mode/gear 3. but going against a bit of headwind can slow you down but going with it.. the thing flies.

I bet your one is perfect compared to the others the general public recieve. No loose bits, steering is solid, no loose bolts on the steering stem, folding handle bars have no movement etc.

I just got one of these m4 pro’s 10/10 review from me.
If you use cruise control while recording it’s wayyy easier. It’s also easier steering with the left , rather with the right and accelerating. Very fast and fun scooter. Highly recommend it!!!
If they could fix the stem wobble this would be a great scooter. Imo, the problem is with the front forks... but it's a nice package with the seat option & good performance , which some more expensive models don't have

MY PROVEN SPEED AND RANGE TEST RESULTS FOR THIS SCOOTER (kugoo m4 pro 13ah):
WARNING DO NOT USE WD40, GREASE OR OIL ON THE WHEELS COZ IF IT GETS ON THE DISC BRAKES, IT WILL MAKE THEM VERY!! WEAK.
1. Max speed:
I got 32mph on a smooth flat on a freshly charged battery but I usually get around 26-30mph max speed.
2. Ranges:
Here is the distance I covered at each speed...
/Miles/ /Speed/
32 miles range going 10mph
27 miles range going 15mph
18 miles range going 20mph
12 miles range going 25-30mph
*** (UPDATE)
***(THESE RESULTS ARE WHEN MY ELECTRICAL! BRAKES AND LIGHTS WERE DISCONNECTED NOT MY DISC BRAKES!, I REPEAT MY ELECTRICAL! BRAKES AND LIGHTS WERE DISCONNECTED NOT DISC BRAKES! , obv disc brakes don't use power so they stayed connected for obv reasons but the electrical brakes basically use power to slow down the scooters motor the moment you press the brakes in order to assist the disc brakes, I disconnected these and the brake lights to save as much power for performance as I possibly could )
(In my opinion 15mph is the best speed coz it has good range and decent speed)
Test conditions..
My test where I went only 10mph was a very stormy wet day my wheels got caked in mud and could have affected performance but not sure.
I weigh about 65kg
I would ride a maximum 20-25mins at a time and would have 3-8min breaks inbetween to give the battery a break.
My journey included 3-5 big hills which takes a toll on the battery, but the journey was mostly flat.
I went on The odd off road track, gravel, dirt tracks etc, grass and general rough surfaces.
Conclusion:
I recorded how many miles I done per each bar of battery and added up all the miles in the end, I realised that if I had no hills to go up and only went on smooth flat ground then I would have probably got a little extra millage and most importantly! I noticed when I gave the battery a longer break Inbetween each short ride I would get more millage out of the next bar of battery, so im almost certain that riding for about 20mins then letting it rest for about 10mins will probably give a little extra millage too.
This is defo a really good all rounder I'm glad I bought it but should have probably got the 17ah version but oh well its still great, I'd like to also note that this scooter is pretty robust, I regularly jump off curbs, skid, do jumps and have even ran over glass a few times with no negative affects, 100% better than any other scooter I encounter on the street.
P. S there is also a way to enable cruise control, adjust power output for custom speeds and change the display from kmph to mph if u want to know just ask and i will tell you.
J K I can't see a 17ah version? On geek buying it's just 13ah I believe. Where you buy from to see a bigger battery?
I had the m4 for a day about 2-3 months back had to get refund though had a few issues with it. But I loved the speed of it and it could take my weight which is over 120kg.

J K The key bent and the volt screen wouldn't turn off! Didn't like the seat/post was too hard to remove. Plus the folding mechanism was way too stiff had to get someone to hold all the time to fold it! At least this pro here has changed that design. I'm looking at getting the Kugoo g2 pro looks a lot better no seat, better LCD screen, better design imo too.

Top scooter had for a month now been using everyday had no issues with police just dont be speeding past them and make sure to tighten bolts etc often and may wanna buy better grips and the reason the stem wobbles is because you need to tighten the bolts under the front wheel its a factory thing they dont tighten fully

@@GOTWroberto ive had no issues with any hills so far it has alot of torque and doesnt really seem to struggle it performs really well for a 500 watt motor and does out perform scooters with bigger motors

@@marosdoczy6429 hey mate I'm from Ireland, I rode it in light rain but do not ride in heavy rain unless you fully waterproof the battery. Max speed I got was 48 kmh

Cracking video. Super camerwork and editing.(+ great s\track) Certailnly put it thru the wringer, with the TLC temporarily suspended! Not so sure 'bout the throttle control, kinda distanced from the handgrip and the brake lever. Maybe what does worry me is the wobble you mention on the handlebars stem.. I really do like the way you can attach a seat.. mm have to chew on it (pun intended)

The turn signals on the scooter are totally different to the one on sale. Now this scooter must be a prototype. It doesn’t look like this where the turn signals are. It’s so disappointing that it doesn’t exist this model he’s reviewing.
Trying to decide between M4 Pro and G2 Pro
Is the seat worth it? It's the only reason I'd choose it over the G2 Pro
Very good scooter but in my case failed after 40 km ,suddenly appeared 5 mm losses in steering bearings at the front weell. There was a noticeable play in the steering system on the mounting bearings, after only two days (about 5 mm) very disappointing problem,because its fast and strong so this issue is dangerous.I hope the supplier will give me the solution of that and will replace the failed one. The problem with quality control at Chinese suppliers is now the norm.

"Rickety"? Great video, but confused about the one comment. To me, "rickety" means parts and bolts don't line up right causing rattling among the joints and it's likely to come apart. Did you perhaps mean that it's sort of stiff which causes the ride to feel more like a low rider sports car then a luxury sedan? Vs say the Titan that might be smoother. Haven't ridden either one myself to be clear. :-)

You should ask for a discount on the G2 and definitely get that. It's above the M4 Pro's league.

personally would not recommend, had this thing for for 5 months and its been out of action like 3 of those months. It constantly gets flats on the rear wheel and the controller fried itself. On paper its a great value but make sure you get that warranty ready

the hand book says no. I have looked inside, and the wiring is pretty exposed, so best not to soak it in deep puddles.
Took my old m4 out in the rain with no issues
I got this kugoo kirin m4 (not pro)and range don’t go more than 17km so i would upgrade to 25ah battery pack also performance is great. In short term you may find these brake don’t work properly so just remove two springs back and front just like bikes don’t have one and it will be fine
I have done 22km distance while maintaining speeds between 20-22km/h... (had 51v, 54v is full charge) you can't expect doing alot of km's while ridding at max speed... you need to learn how to manage the speeds...

@@Therealderry433 the spring where you would find in metal string so I removed these spring because string won't able to keep tight in brake part for long time. if not then probably disc pads need to replace, therefore. disc pads don't last forever

I use the seat and I personally prefer it because it makes for a comfier ride but if you are riding in public it looks a bit like a mobility scooter

When I had the m4 the seat was shocking when I sat on it it kept bending either backwards or forwards plus you couldn't remove it at least this one looks easier to remove the seat post.

@@77funtomas It doesnt convince because by bad experiencies with Kugoo Models I know that the most weak parts regarding water resistance is the controller and the display. Soo water in the wheels is basically no problem

can you turn off side led lights?

The flashing lights come on with the front and rear lights. you could cut the wires or fit an on/off switch to isolate them, but as standard you cannot turn them off individually.
The indicators and brake lights have separate controls.

Hi Jake, nice review, my son is thinking about getting an electric scoter, what do you think is the best one for around the £600 Mark.
Probably this one m8 in terms of power and speed. It really depends how sensible your son is i guess they accelerate fairly rapid compared to most that are limited to around 15mph in the UK. I guess 0-30 it's similar to a 125cc Motorbike off the mark.

just got one for my son from geekbuying, came the other day, only a couple of problems, the bottom of the seat post seems always loose, the steering is a bit.. loose.. the tyres were put on the wrong way! I got him the non pro one so has road tyres! and the ignition key unit is ... guess.. loose and cant tighten it up unless im missing something there is a metal ring but nothing to tighten it ? any help or feedback from your owning one would be helpful :)

You can’t take a right turn properly without it breaking as the right break wire is short

Honestly If I were you I wouldn't use it at extreme bad weather the electric scooter is not cheap
Front mudguard rubs on the wheels, stem wobble, and it's got a finger throttle. Had this on my list but thanks for pointing out a few of its flaws.
Also you describe the scooter as "rickety" then just at the end it's "very smooth to ride" Which one is it? :)
My friend has the pro version he changed the wheels to the non pro version to get rid of the rubbing and the only thing he hates is the 8hour charging time

Why should i get this over a chaos 1600w?
Because this has a lithium ion battery which holds charge for alot longer and is a bit more powerful. Also the scooter is light and has many more features than the chaos

I would recommend the m4, dont get the m4 pro, my mate got one and both tires failed in the 1st few weeks, I have the m4 and the tires are really good. Just dont go smashing it over potholes and down curbs cos it ain't made for it
Was there duty/tax on shipping? And what are the laws with regards to buying e scooters? I understand that they’re not road legal so does that mean there’s a chance the scooter could be seized and destroyed at customs?
Not at all its legal to purchase them. They say technically they're illegal to ride on roads and pavements. But i ride mine all the time and police don't say a damn thing
