Went to Ace to look at the new 30" Slate which is what griddle I was leaning towards. Got to see it , feel it, they had it on display, purchased a 30" Slate right then and there.

The damn price. How much better can it be than a Blackstone? I feel Weber has priced themselves out of the average budget.
Blackstone is trash compared to this. Uneven heating and doesn’t do well at all in the wind.
