I knew that when I originally embarked on this adventure to reach the Shores of Gold, that we would face many challenges but the amount of new experiences I made in the process kind of blew my mind. Including finding what is, in my opinion, the most unique keg in the game!
So join us, as Brandon, Birdie and I try to complete the "Art of the Trickster" Tall Tale including the prerequisite amount of funny moments as we try to complete the puzzles. Enjoy!

Fun fact the trapmaker’s keg can survive a few shots from a pistol, probably to survive the traps on sailor bounty, but you can shoot it either 4 or 9 times before it explodes (I cant remember exactly I just remember emptying my pistol for the final shot). Just be careful bc when it blows up you have to restart the tall tale which is why we didn’t test more with other weapons or fire
How big of an explosion does it make?

Ah, my favorite tall tale from the original 9. This one was fun to do since the puzzles are challenging but not that challenging and it's one of the tall tale where you travel the least. Good luck Cliff if you ever want to unlock the golden curse (i won't spoil the requirement for it but you'll see soon enough how long and difficult it is to unlock)

@@CliffTheStoryGuy There is a way to speed up the process using checkpoints and having a crewmate leave before the tale's completion, allowing them to start it up again afterwards for the others to complete as many times as needed.
That still means an extra two times you need to complete the tale for everyone in your crew to get the commendation, though.
It remains a long process. It took me pretty much 6 months because i took my time since rushing the tall tales seemed very boring to do
It's a fun tall tale, and it's probably the worst one to repeat five times. There's hardly any new factors.

Just managed to get to the shores of gold! U inspired me to get back on the grind for tall tales and I can't thank you enough because I probably would have never done so without it. Good luck on your journey and may the shroud be ever in your favor.
P.S You got two more tall tales before you can do the shores of gold tall tale. The fate of the Morningstar (fairy of the damned) and the revenge of the Morningstar (Daggertooth).

I got the gold curse a long time ago, but this series makes me want to replay them all...
BTW on the shores i suggest only using a guide for briggsys 10 journals. I loved the story in them and i guess part of the experience is figuring out the ancient riddles yourself. If you get stuck, of course guide.
Despite needing a guide for a few of the tall tales I was able to do shores of gold without one and it was definitely worth it

Had a fun time today in a four person sloop alliance (each of us solo). They helped me with a vault and we took down a kraken. Just fun times all around. Great to see another one of our videos! Always makes me laugh.

It’s cool to see how other people do these tall tails and what they think of them and heads up there is gonna be a really annoying riddle like puzzle in the 8th tall tail good luck.
I haven't actually gotten around to the tall tales yet, but a couple friends picked up the game during the sale so I'll probably get to do some of them soon.

I was looking forward to seeing how things turned out for you with this one. We actually had to do this tall tale twice because in my panic from the sounds of explosions I actually took the first keg straight toward the explosions before seeing them. With the keg exploded the Tall Tale was failed. Though we did enjoy a laugh as when we were trying to figure out the spyglass puzzles music started playing signaling a skull ship...That promptly waited for the enemy sloop that came to sink our ship to arrive before popping up from the depths and attacking the sloop. We simply sat on the cliff laughing as the skeleton ship not only chased them off, but sunk them as well. Looking forward to seeing how the last of the tall tales before the shores of gold goes. I actually had to redo the next one as well because while working on getting an angle right the game crashed on me.
