That went right over my head. Set an AB+ template and haven’t touched it for a year. Was looking for a way to add and extra 2 hours of just blue light and watched this again……… guess what? Gave up lol😂. Can they make this a little more difficult?
Quick question I used same template for 2 xr30 G5 blue brand new but the clock red line on schedule is 8hrs a drift on 1 I have read this is a common fault is there a setting to set the zime zone for my country
What do you do if you want to disable the light turn it off manually say for a blackout without losing all your settings. ?? I’ve had my light now five months it’s been working fine but I have an Algae outbreak my lights are only on for four hours per day on low settings. So I have decided to block the tank out but cannot find a way of turning it off without un-pluging it from the mains.
How do you get to that second screen where you can choose your on and off times and see your photo period. Im having a hard time trying to get the lights to turn on and off when I want them to using the ab plus program
I'd recommend first trying to figure out why you're getting the hair algae. Is it phospate, lighting, water quality being used,etc. Then you can combat that issue in hopes to get rid of it permanently. And then if you want sometime to help get rid of the hair algae, you could take a look at the Fritz FUZZ OUT, which is a combo of helpers to the aquarium.
You should be able to select your template you want, then after activating, back where it shows the ring, click edit, and adjust those set points,etc as you want.

I had a really hard time figuring out programming this light . I found Ecotec customer service horrible. All they want to do is get you off the phone. The guy Chris is absolutely horrible he should be fired. I will never buy Ecotec product again
