- MOBIUS is the brand new control platform from EcoTech Marine!
Using the latest technology MOBIUS will allow you to control all of your Ecotech Marine products, on one, completely wireless, direct connection App platform!
Completely changing the way that you interact with all of your Ecotech products is, of course, a huge deal, but Mobius will in future become so much more than an app that controls your lights and pumps. It will allow Ecotech Marine to produce any number of MOBIUS driven devices, so the future looks bright!
Initially, MOBIUS will only be available to use with the BRAND NEW Ecotech Versa Utility Pumps.
Details of when the platform will be available for your existing Ecotech products will be released shortly.

Nice video, very informative. Can't wait for all the other Ecotech devices (just need the Versa)! Wish Ecotech wasn't so tight lipped with what they're going to be, but I understand they're reasoning.
Why does it only work on your phone app when your near the devices, if you leave the house it won't work
this app wont open on andriod?
How do I get the sounds out of the Thunderstorm demo? Are there any sounds behind it or no?
Why the push away from Neptune apex integration? For instance the gen 5 radions are no longer compatible as well as the new versa dosing pumps. How are we supposed to control dosing while using auto testers like the trident or the kh director ?
Ecotech is looking to compete with Apex in the near future it would seem. Ryan (Brs) said the two companies are moving apart (didn't elaborate though, and Ecotech is notoriously tight lipped). It'll be interesting to see just what products they'll be releasing to run on Mobius in the near future as they alluded to in this video.
How do you update firmware for vectra L2 pump. Mobius and EcoSmart is not recognizing the pump even after I calibrated it.
Mobius is not currently active for the Vectra Emmanuel Lewis. You can dona reset using EcoSmart, instructions of which are on the Ecotech website, or drop us an email and we will be happy to help
Can you put Mobius on your PC, if so how?
French User : The concern is that if you have an apex system with VWX modules, you lose the configuration and all the pumps go into missing mode after update ...

How can I upgrade the firmware on my pump to get mobius running?
If the device simply needs an update this can be done via your current control method (reeflink or USB connection to Ecosmart Live). If you have a legacy product that needs the chip upgrade this would need to be purchased from www.xodis.co.uk/
@@CharterhouseTV how do I know what my particular device requires? Also I dont have the serial number because it ripped off when I removed the velcro to install it into a wall mount.

App needs 'work'- mainly Bluetooth issues. You cannot save changes you make unless you 'clear cache' first. Don't like using the sliders- app should have '+ and -" as well. Very irritating!!!
Why would you "upgrade" to something with local only capabilities? It doesn't make any sense... even AI lights are cloud based. Literally, the only thing gained here is that Ecotech is able to lock you out of control via a WXM.
That's my only gripe about the new 16HD I picked up, the use of BLE vs the previous models using wifi.
This is on the EcoTech website FAQs "However, offsite (web or remote access) will not be supported as of this changeover. That functionality is anticipated to be re-enabled in the future but we do not have a projected release date at this time." Seems it will go back to being cloud accessible at some point.

My experience with ecotech is dire. Eg. My latest mp10 wetside lasted 8 weeks before the ceramic bearing shattered. I can usually get 6 to 12 months out of the mp10 wetside but 8 weeks is ridiculous. At over £50 per wetside ecotech are really an expensive waste. They trade on the myth of quality which in reality does not exist. Ecotech for me equals crap quality. I will not buy and more ecotech products. The last one I purchased from Chartehouse. This is not a criticism of Charterhouse. This is more about the money that i have wasted on poor ecotech products. Vectra return pumps have also been an expensive failure. Mobius is another poor ecotech product. It constantly drops the connection with paired equipment. Terrible products and so frustrating. If reliability issues could be resolved they would have a decent product.
