Good morning Mr Brian Shields. Here in Kingston Jamaica it's overcast with clouds and dust. No rain so far. Jamaica is still recovering from hurricane beryl. Some parishes still have not been restored with electricity. However work are in progress to do so. Also work in progress trying to remove fallen trees off the roads. Thank you for your thorough weather updates. We appreciate you. May God continue to bless both you and your family. @leonardobraynen1524 I live in the south eastern coast of Jamaica. However I have families that live in the major damage areas such as St. Elizabeth and Clarendon which is the south coast of the Island Jamaica
I appreciate everything you do for us Brian. I can’t watch the local news “weather” reports anymore. Especially not after watching how you break everything down for us. I’m down close to the coast in Texas. Still waiting for power after Beryl.

@@Kognitosan much appreciated! I consider myself lucky. I have a small generator that at least keeps the fridge running. I worry about the elderly, young and infirm that are in this situation. It’s frustrating but I would be willing to wait if those people can get power first. It’s overcast right now. But when that sun comes out it is brutally hot and humid. Hope you are safe and doing well!

I'm in Texas on the coast. We were very close to landfall on the dirty side.They clocked 122 mph sustained here at one of the plants, so was not a cat 1. It was intense and very reminiscent of Ike in 2008. No power yet at my house, no generator. They say maybe tomorrow, and I'm very thankful for the weather being a bit cooler the past few days.
@@JustMe762 I hope you get power back very soon. Mine just came on a little less than two hours ago (it’s almost midnight). Sounds like you are in the same general area as me. I wondered what the plants here were showing for wind speeds. The walls in my house were “breathing” if you can imagine that. It didn’t seem like a cat 1. The last time I saw the walls in my house do that was during Alicia.

In NS Canada we had some flooding and one life lost due to flooding in NS when reminense of Beryl passed thru last couple days with Thunder showers and flash flooding in some areas (thankfully not the part of NS I live in ).. Love the channel keep the great work up ;)
