Personally I love that the bass player is doing a part originally played or programmed on a synth. Maybe a little too much 'flair' with his slap technique, but that's all down to balance on the sound mix. I thought it was great.

In to the groove reminds me my little girls since we saw the movie Despicable Me 33, there's a dance fight scene, lovely! Amazing performance of the band, such a great voice of the beautiful lead singer❤️

Interesting ideas, but if the BASS LINE is the MOST and only important part of a song, then it isn't a good song at all. Mozart, Bach, Beethoven--they all wrote songs in which ALL parts of the material played an equal role in telling the story. Saying that the synth bass was so important that it isn't good without emulating that, says the song SUCKS...which technically it does! lol I love the song, but it isn't high art by any means.
To be fair, there was NO keyboard solo on the original recording until it was remixed for 1987's You Can Dance album. Then subsequently that version seems to have taken over (including another extra tweak on the Immaculate Collection) with Madonna's live performance on the Who's That Girl tour. I just enjoy that this band is playing a great song, that I love, live, on at least 4 more instruments that were used on the original recording. 😁

The drummer has to get a set of ELECTRIC drums for Madonna music. Acoustic drums don't work with Madonna's type of music. The rest of the group including the singer sound GREAT !!!!
Great cover.. the sound of the singer sounds a little muffled in the mix and should be more prominent .. probably because you performed in a cave.... But saying that the bass is upfront why not the singer ..

The Female singer girl has a very Heavy accent when singing otherwise ok singer. Stop Saying Gat , Its Get Into the Groove Not Gat Into the groove.
