@Aaron Terence Hughes. I just got my bottle of Legend. I like it a great deal. I think it is a great advance in your perfumery. Wore it for the first time yesterday and several people stopped me and asked what I was wearing. A coworker in our mailroom came to my office on lunch break and said she could smell it on the mail I dropped off that morning. I'll be getting a 100ml as soon as my 10ml is used.

Very good review, love your critique on fragrances good or bad even tho you have eviscerated a few of my favourites lol
Hi Aaron,
I was waiting to see your thoughts on my favorite frangrance :).
I cant wait they doing a Herod Exclusif with more woody notes like Layton Exclusif.
The dry down on this is my favorite part, possibly the most addicting vanilla I’ve ever smelt in fragrance
The nose behind Herod made my signature scent Divine Vanille by Essential Parfums! I love them both.
1:40 How would you explain Pineapple with few words same as you explained these citruses. Thank you🤗
I have 2 bottles from 2017.+14 +16 hours skin persistence is immortal on clothes. the duration of the hour is 4 to 5 times as long as the propagation time. This thing could be the master of smells( I didn't know about Nasomatto and Orto Parisi until then)
I have a 2021 batch and it's a complete trash. Lasts for 2 hours.
@@againstthestones this is crazy😢 after 2020, after the regulation of the protection Law, the perfume quality decreased.check out the pre-2020 bottles if you can find them.
@@onurrrgultekin I doubt that it's about regulations. Somehow, regulations don't stop brands like Mancera and Xerjoff from continuing to produce beast mode fragrances. My 2021 bottle of Pegasus Exclusif also has no problems with performance.
I am interested to see your view on PDM Kalan, as it really portray the epitomy of love or hate fragrance, and a lot of youtube reviewers also bashing on it.
I, myself really love Kalan and have received some real compliments from my close ones. However when I sprayed it directly on paper or on their skin, they despised it right away.
Anyway, really enjoy your review as you always give your unique thoughts on every fragrance you brought to this channel.
I got a 5ml tester of this and my first impression i watched along to your video Aaron. This is sophisticated flirting in a bottle, i can't get enough of it. I have my sisters wedding to attend to this weekend and i have found the scent to wear for the occasion.
This is 12 yr old fragrance and still gets positive good reviews. Just bought 1.7oz. I can’t go wrong with fragrance because goes well in fall/winter.
You’re a great and very knowledgeable reviewer Aaron, I’m not sure if you have previously reviewed PDM Oajan or not but if you haven’t, I’d love to hear your views on it.
It took me a while but I kept thinking, gosh, Aaron look so familiar…. then it hit me! Aaron looks like William Baldwin! The second youngest of the handsome Baldwin brothers!! I hope it’s taken has a compliment!
Man the quality you put in your video is so crazy. I agree, Herod in my opinion is the best pdm, Herod,Layton, greenly, Percival, carsile
Aaron Very nice Review. I’ll see if I can Order a Sample 🍀🙏🤨
The french crop and beard looks amazing my man.
Great review! Want to try Herod. This is going to sound like a daft request but could u review Myrrh & sweet Tonka sometime?
Hi Aaron, can I make a little suggestion. I totally understand the issues you have with reading certain words, but when I happens can I suggest that you put the notes on the screen as text.
Hey Aaron, would you try out Sicilian Leather by Memo Paris? I just got it and I would really like to know your opinion about it. I would send you a sample but I'm not from UK. :(
I just got this fragrance and it’s a batch from May 2020. First time I used it it smelled amazing but didn’t last long on my skin. So far the only PDM Fragrance that isn’t beastly on me.
Herod was hit particularly hard by the reformulations…layton is a close second.
They reformulated their popular fragrances and turned them into trash. I have a 2020 Layton, 2021 Herod and 2022 Percival. All of them don't last at all, couple hours with a very poor projection. I'm done with this scam brand.
Out of all the (about 200) fragrances i have smelled, pdm herod is probably my highest rated ever. To my nose it smells like a very high quality aromatic pipe tobacco with some very well balanced earthy notes to it. It smells like a man with a white beard taking a morning walk in the forest with his pipe. I love it. Its elegant and very mature. 11/10 for me
I totally agree that there are many brands that Are easy to like and easy to wear. However I also tend to wear mostly ATH fragrances. I can smell good, but I prefer to smell fabulous. I appreciate you Aaron. I admire your work.
Thats so amazing to hear. Thank you 🦄
After this review I started to appreciate the effort all fragrance reviewer do at explaining a scent.
I literally only watch you because you seem credible and knowledgable
So glad you love this too. It's my signature scent; best of PDM
Which would be better between the two for a tropical country? Herod or Pegasus? As I love my Layton but I am looking for an alternative, preferably still from PDM.
Just bought this yesterday, I love this fragrance but I think I’m having serious silage and performance issues!!?? Am I getting nose blind because of the iso e ??
Hey Aaron, is that a new sample of Herod you got there? I heard rumors that the formulation changed a while ago and that it isn’t that great performing as it was, what do you say?
nishane ani next?? 👀
Could you rereview Dior Ambre Nuit, please? :)
Going to check this out, thanks Aaron.
I wish the newer batches performed like they used to
what PDM series which still have older formulation that you can suggest me to try?
@hobojump7651 I'm not sure exactly when it changed but I had the 2018 and my buddy had a 2023. Mine smelled richer and lasted much longer. We tried it several times to make sure it wasn't a fluke. There are others that will swear by this too. Supposedly even the juice color changed but he sold his before we could put some in a clear decant to confirm the rumor
@@B-Rok88 Thank you for honest opinion, i'm considering again to buy any initio or PDM full bottle, for their recently performance this may be not worthy anymore. Even niche perfume house are not safe after big corps do acquisition.
@@hobojump7651 just do some research beforehand on whichever scent you're interested in. I'm sure they all aren't reformulated
@@B-Rok88el de tu amigo estaba recién abierto el mismo año y no estaba macerado la maceración hace que cambien los perfumes con el tiempo, si tu bote llevaba 5 años estaba mucho más macerado
Hi Aaron, loved this review. I just recently fell in love with Tobacco Vanille. and i heard that this Herod is similar to TV. Gonna have to try Herod now after your video. :) Also, can you advise how long can we keep fragrances? Does it expire/spoil if we store it opened/unopened in a cool place? Many thanks Aaron.
purchased a sample pack form pdm, after spraying on they don't last at all. decided not to purchase. not spending £200+ for a hour projection
Great review. Can you please please please do Layton next, its my signature and favourite fragrance.
Do Byredo if you get your hands on one! Im not sure how I feel about the perspective but compositionally they are extremely…precise. I own several.
Herod or Carslisle?Love your videos ,keep up the amazing work!
Can u please make a videos series for top 5 must have fragrances???
Herod
Great review, your opinion on Kalan matters..
Are you reviewing the 81% or the 78%? I hear the former performs worse.
I haven't seen anywhere but in this review that Herod has bergamot. No mention of it on PDM's site or Fragrantica.
