Great stuff so far ... gonna finish it latter. I'm thinking of getting one of those KTM Adv orange and black jackets ... any complaints on those? Could you have any problems if you would have had stock tires? What kind do you like for the 390? Thanks, S
You mentioned that the 390 needed one tooth smaller on the countershaft gear. Was the MTC turned off? It defaults to 'on' every time you turn the bike off. Drastically reduces power to the rear wheel when its on - tries to stop the rear wheel from spinning.
Thanks 5 of us road those same trails in July this year loved it. Two 790, one 890 two DR650 Suzuki.
We are looking to do this BDR in August.

Way to go! There is lots of life outside the BMW GS world. Too many guys think it's all about having an overpriced and heavy bike. Great video.

Sweet. Its impressive also that ktm has 390 adv listed as useable bikes for ktm adv rally.

How did the skid plate hold up on the 390 Adv? Would you recommend swapping it out?
