We planned to do the Smoey Mountain 500 the 1st full week of October. Due to all the rain and flooding (hurricane Helene), we changed plans to ride Southern Missouri. It's a little further (from Middle Tennesse), but it looks like we are in for some great riding.

I agree totally: speed and momentum. I also have a 790 R. Can you tell me what tire pressures you ran for this run? The last time I rode this I was on a beta 390 but I intend to ride it on my new BMW 1300 GS And I’m wondering what tire pressure to use. It sure seems like it works so much better at 20 pounds than 30 or 35.

I did it in a Dodge Ram 2500 4 x 4 Cummins. I have a lot of 4 x 4 experience and don’t take chances. I have been on worse trails but not as dangerous. First gear in four wheel low is slower than walking

Other than treating those KTMs like Street Glides, great video. Duck walking those bikes is the most unstable way to navigate any obstacle. Stand up, attack position and keep your momentum up and they are easily navigable

What 80w-90 oil did you use? Gear oil or transmission oil? Manual does not specify

Honda is the only manufacturer that uses its on motors. All the others use chinese motors and transmissions. Kawasaki Kymco etc.

I built a.street legal dual dual sport trike after watching this video. Used a 2015 yamaha WR450F. Juat an fyi, SUNF tires are what im running for my rear tires. ALL of their tires are DOT approved!!!!!

I picked this info up. There is no U.S. law or regulation within the United States Federal Register that governs the street, road, or highway use/application of UTV tires in any manner. As of 2022, there is no classification, regulation, or guideline that would make or allow any UTV tire "street legal" or approved by NHTSA or DOT

If i did BBP Id probalby just walk it or do it with a quad. My nerves cant handle things like this in a big heavy vehicle barely narrow enough to stay off the edges.
