Finally a host who is all about the guest, not asking long, boring questions, but just enjoying himself along with the audience.
Great host!
I will miss his laughter so much. RIP Leslie Jordan, you brightened so many of my days.
What an absolute beautiful man. Such soul. Mr. Leslie Allen Jordan..you will live on in our most valuable memories of love and light. I promise you that. Such a WELL DESERVED…ACTOR. You made it baby. And you were successful in everything you touched. Recovery, acting, as a son and as a brother and a Christian and just a beautiful human being. Take our love with you Sir. I am grateful to have come upon this clip....You have served ! Thank you Leslie Jordan. You are Success! As you surrounds all of us in the invisible realm, your success blesses all of us! 🥰
No truer words!! xoxxo ❣️
I’m just so happy I found him BEFORE he passed on. I started following him during the pandemic. I hate when I learn about a person AFTER they die. I feel cheated. Leslie was a true gem and got me through …And is STILL getting me through tough days.❤ Rest in perfect peace my LOVE!!❤️❤️🕊🙏🏾
You are so right. We sometimes never know the gifts we have in human beings until they are gone. I will miss him.
That you discovered him is the focus. You have a huge treasure of Leslie's catalogue in which to take comfort. I'm still reeling from the news of his death. I remember first seeing him on Murphy Brown in the late '80s.
I have found about 5 people who died soon after I discovered them! I'm afraid of getting attached to anyone else 😭
What a remarkable person! I don't believe he has forgotten any events of his life. Rest In Peace.
This man is a complete jewel....bright,funny and a professional. The world is a less interesting place without him. RIP!!!
I Laughed so hard at Leslie sharing about his life...He is so truthful, and the greatest story teller..RIP Leslie we lost a great comedian..
As a Southerner…LJ’s accent has always been music to my ears.
Love him!
Rest well angel.❤
Oh my word. I had no idea he was so phenomenal. Glad he was successful by all measures and deeply fulfilled. Thanks for laughter and wisdom.
This was an excellent interview-he is so real. RIP
I can't believe that was 1997.Leslie was just so well spoken. I wish we could have more interviews like that.. Humanity, lost another great soul. Heaven now has Betty White, Bob Saget and Leslie Jordon.
I laughed and cried all at the same time. We have lost such a treasure. God Bless you Leslie.
Heaven has got themselves a sweet, funny, talented person/ angel in Leslie Jordan. ❤❤
Heartbroken even more…gone way too soon. Thank you for he laughs Mr. Jordan. RWG

And I'm crying again. ❤️
Me too. I adored him.
What a fantastic interview. Something to treasure just like LJ was. I´m so glad he mentioned “are you being served”. A fantastic show too few know about.
where (what time) did he mention Are you being served?
From one LJ to another....Leslie is and always will be Adorable! Rest In Peace, you beautiful soul! ♥️😎👍
Listening to Leslie Jordon tell his stories is fantastic. Also, listening to the interviewer laugh was just as entertaining, he really enjoyed his guest.
What a gem! A true southern gentleman taken from us far too early 💔 Rest In Peace dear, sweet Leslie Jordan you will be missed.
Watching this now makes it even sadder :( He had just bought his first condo, he was always full of life and always had so many plans :(
I think about that, all was going so well for him. :( Such a wonderful, hilarious, dear, sweet man who brightened our world. I just loved listening to him talk. What a storyteller! Yes, he was always so full of life.
So terribly, terribly sad. I always wanted to meet him.
Who are you Sharon?! @@40sSonggirl1
The World lost a wonderful guy when Leslie died. He gave such good advice. Get a Job you like. Do It and enjoy your life. If you hit the big time Wonderfull. But the Journey is what matters.
Huge and awful loss…. BUT his inspiration and light are incomparable. ❤
I wish I could have said “Thank you, Leslie, for entertaining us during the Covid shut down and beyond. I loved how real and how personal you were in every segment. I found myself referring to you as a friend one time and it was because of your sincerity and warmth. I will miss you. You made my day many times when I would watch you in any of the comedies I happen to see you in. Thank you and God bless you.
What a wonderful person he was. Why had we never heard of him until the pandemic struck. Rest In Peace Leslie ♥️. You’ve really made me laugh at all the stories you’ve told us tonight. THANK YOU ♥️♥️
He’s so wonderful
Loved his intervew and the interviewer.
Just adore him! I would of loved to have known him.
Thank You - I posted this on my Blog. God-Bless-You-Leslie-Jordan and Rest In Peace.
He was not just a wonderful actor, he was the most beautiful person. He was a ray of light in an often dark world, and he is missed so much. Thank God for video so we can still enjoy his work. I know he's gotten his wings in heaven.
It’s amazing that, at my age (71), I only became keenly aware of Leslie Jordan when all these tributes popped up after his death. But then, I’d stopped watching commercial TV in the mid-70s when cable became available. Imagine my shock to realize I’d actually seen him live at a showing of Sordid Live when he, Del Shores, and several other cast members did a q&a after the film. What a delightful man! A big heart, keen insights, and mountains of wit. I’ll be gobbling up whatever I can find of his work from now on. I hope flights of angels have…well, you know the line.
Making a film about the life of this one of kind Angel should be somebody's dream project ♡♡♡
Leslie was a genuine comic genius but even more important, a generous man. We walked arm in arm across the WB Studios one night where he was donating his time to be my charity group’s emcee for a fundraiser for homeless youth in Los Angeles. He told me stories which had me laughing until I was crying by the time we got to the event. Thank you Leslie for making the world a brighter and funnier place to live in. Gone way too soon, but I am sure you are keeping the angels in stitches.
This was such a blessing. So much ❤️ for Leslie.
This was a treasure to watch. Thank you
What a delightful, precious soul he was.
What an awesome person!
God rest his soul. What a beautiful spirit. He will be remembered with the love and laughter he left us 🤗🥰
Can I just say I thoroughly enjoyed this entire interview! I’ve been a fan of his for many years, and like most of our country heartbroken when he passed. I was hoping,at some point soon, I’d be able to see him live in some performance! I cannot believe (even though I’ve heard some of these stories before) how great they are! Now I want to scour the internet looking for the books he’s written and hopefully find his one-man show also. The interviewer asks perfect questions and his laugh was very contagious prompting Mr. Jordan to give fabulous answers! Thank you. I enjoyed this very much! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I feel unstable in a world without Leslie in it. Bless him.
It was kinda eerie to hear him mention Cahuenga Boulevard (51:00). That's where he died.
Oh wow, that is eerie.
😯 that Is eerie.
Well...well...well! What an awesome man. Loved him so much in, amongst other things, Will & Grace. So talented; a real sweetheart too. Gone too soon. So sad about that. He will be sorely missed. One in a million.
I just love that guy what a wonderful human being he was. 😢
I have always loved this treasure of a human being❤️. He was such a genuine sweet honest loving and kind soul, not to mention extremely talented. A true gift to us all. Thank you for sharing and may you Stay safe healthy and happy ✝️🇺🇸❤️
Oh how I miss this treasure 💔♥️🙏
This was a gem 💎 He will be truly missed
Such a nn amazing and real person! I could listen to him all day. Such an amazing story teller! I am so sad he is gone. Prayers to his family.
The story about his father scouring the town on Christmas Eve to find a bride doll is what, after all the laughter, made me cry. Extraordinary story. What a loss that man's death was to Leslie Jordan.
A beautiful soul ! I will miss you ! RIP Beverly Leslie 😭😭😭
Charming interview
Every minute of that was awesome!
Applause applause, applause! Such a great light and human being
Magnificent. What entertainment...love to Leslie and the superb moderator Todd. Grateful
This honestly has to be the best interview I've ever watched. I saw this pop up right after his passing and its taken me till now to be able to watch it without getting too emotional. Truly one of the funniest actors ever and he is missed every day.
I have always enjoyed his roles. However, this has to be the most enjoyable interview I've ever watched. RIP Leslie ❤
What a beautiful soul. I miss him even more than when he first passed. A genuine treasure.
I miss him!
Thank you for the laughter, Leslie! R.I.P.
this guy was awesome
What a great loss...he was so gifted.
I never realized until listening to Leslie Jordan in this interview how much the 12 Step program has in common with Buddhism. The Middle Way, letting go, it goes on and on.
Such an intelligent man who put his all into everything. I’m so sad that I didn’t come across him before the pandemic, he made me laugh so much during those two years. Thank you for everything Leslie, Rest In Peace 💐💐
BRILLIANT 👏👏👏
A treasure of a man ..sad loss to entertainment and the world...such honest humour and joy of life..

He knew who he was and what he was. He is sorely missed 💜😔👼
God bless his soul! He probably drove his car to a wall knowing he might hurt others while having a health issue.
This is priceless. Excellence
what a lovely sweet man, RIP
RIP LESLIE 💔
What a joy of a man.
He was a beautiful light who was the sweetest kindest soul. He is gone way to soon but he's making the Angels laugh.
I think the first time I saw him was on Will and Grace and he was a funny character it was a laugh a minute with Karen! He will be missed!
Loved this guy
I'm a 5'2" gay man and I have always loved seeing him on TV or movies. It's nice to finally see someone like me. I got very upset when I found out about his passing.
RIP Dear person! You are missed. When did this interview happen?
Leslie Jordan lived in our building for a while; we lived there for more than 14 years, so it's kind of hard to pinpoint the time, but I think the baby had been born, so that would've been after March 2007. I don't know what he was doing in Atlanta for a semi-extended period of time; I worried that I would annoy him if I asked him like I'm sure a million other people were asking.
At any rate, the first time I noticed him, he got off the elevator wearing a white suit and my husband and I finally realized that he was, indeed, the person we thought he was. :)
He was a very nice guy. We lived in a building full of entitled beings that ("that" is used intentionally) thought that the rules didn't apply to them, but Leslie wasn't like that at all.
We just couldn't understand why he was living in a rental building instead of the condo building, but when we heard that he bought his first home shortly before he died, his renting made more sense.
With so many shitty beings in the world who are taking up space and contributing nothing, it's so sad that a great guy who "was here to serve" the projects he worked on had to leave us so soon.
As Mayim Bialik says life is very fragile, you never know when you’re going to lose someone you care about or love. Be careful how you speak to others cause you may very well be sorry for your words & can’t take it back. Treat others how you’d want others to treat you. SPECIAL! TENDER! COMPASSIONATE! EMPATHY! L♥️VE! THOUGHTFULNESS! ETC! 👍💝
An amazing man that lived life loudly and with passion. He will never be replicated
He was so wonderful! Gone way too soon. 🤗🤗🤗
He expressed himself the best I ever seen him here
Right around the corner from that Greyhound bus depot and the McDonald's restaurant was the Cinerama Dome.
GEM✨
Miss him.🙏🏻
