I love a grocery haul!
I love going grocery shopping! This haul video was not a great performer…so I haven’t done any more of them. I may come back to them again soon.
Just like you, we have a few different places that we get our groceries from.
- Costco for the quarterly and/or monthly items (paper towels, toilet paper, bread, butter, frozen seafood, coffee, cleaning supplies and soap)
- Walmart/No Frills for the weekly haul (veggies, bread, fruit)
- Indian grocery stores for Indian specific stuff (spices, home goods, equipment stuff like that)
That said, Costco has SO much variety store to store, it’s heart breaking when I don’t find something that really enjoyed having once from that one Costco 😅
I completely understand! Oddly enough, grocery shopping has always been a relaxing time for me, so going to multiple stores when one doesn't have what I want doesn't get under my skin...unless it's rush hour! Then forget about it! Lol
@@beautifullifesageg.3951 we have a slightly different situation here in Canada - in the past couple of years relying on flyers has become imperative (maybe it’s there in the states too?) due to costs going up like nuts!
That said, it’s not as bad as a year ago when you wouldn’t find anything as people started hoarding all essential goods as soon as they’d hit the shelves in the stores!

I spy a buffalo exchange bag! Our daughter works at our local buffalo exchange! I so often forget my darn quarter for Aldi carts🙈 Aldi has such great prices. It’s so interesting to see how others shop. I wish I liked sardines, I tried but have not acquired a taste. I know it’s so good for us! Home cooked meals are the best!
I’m a HUGE Buffalo Exchange fan! We have one here in town, but I usually go to the one in Ventura because I LOVE VENTURA! I keep my Aldi quarter in the cup holder of my car…my family knows it’s “off-limits!” Sardines are really mild…it’s anchovies that are icky! Sardines are pretty much tuna fish….lol. I made braised beef ribs in my recent video! OMG! They’re so good!

@@Lifeinthewyldewest yes..CA is huge! And traffic daily makes what used to be shorter trips so darn long! I’m about an hour east of Ventura.

Hi! Thanks for this video! I live in Portugal and also buy at Aldi! Have you got Lidl in the US? It's quite similar to Aldi... over here we have a vegetable and fish market in every larger city to get really fresh items.
Oh wow! I didn't realize Aldi would be there! We don't have Lidl. We have many Farmers markets in various cities around, but they are becoming more like swap meets, selling many things besides food.
I heard Portugal is a beautiful place to live and visit. What's the best time of year to visit?
