So awesome! Trying to go to once a month also. Everything is so expensive!! Things are extremely crazy right now try to get some basic pantry stock up if possible

Stop buying name brand...go store brand. That will shave off a good 200 or more. I feed my family of 5 for 600 dollars a month plus another 50 for the rest of the month for fresh produce in between. Name brand is always gonna send your bill up massively. Buying store brand saves and there is very little different maybe seasoning so stock on up some more seasoning.
You are so right. I buy all off brand except soda. Store brand IS name brand, some don't realize that

In canada it doesn't truly matter. For a family of 5 it costs us a little over 2000$ a month. Groceries are stupid expensive.
Same but under $600 I usually try to stick around 450-550
Alot of store brand items are cheaper because they taste like garbage
Getting ready to straighten our pantry and getting another deep freezer next weekend. And making a plan on what we need to stock up on. Plus I need to make my thanksgiving dinner plan since I do all the cooking. My daughter was suppose to come in from Florida the first week of December and we were going to do our baking but she’s having knee issues and may not make it SO I’m gonna have to decide what I’m making for our Christmas goodie trays and making them early lol hopefully
Wow! Sounds like you have a lot of cooking coming up! We do Thanksgiving at our house, but guests do bring stuff. Christmas my mom does and I make the potatoes, so pretty affordable!
We get the offing too but I stretch them by cutting them in halves. One it goes further two those are a lot of calories lol and my kids usually eat half and save the rest anyways. When I did we I wash shocked that they were like 17 points 🤷🏼♀️😂 we get two kinds of muffins and half them. Works well for us. Pair it with yogurt or fruit if your really hungry

@@BrittanyRoseHomemaking I used to work at food lion when I was a teenager but the closed it where I live. Love your videos❤ we shop at winndixe and Wal-Mart with 5 kids it cost a lot

I've been making breakfast burritos for my hubby's breakfast for a few months and he hasn't got tired of the yet surprisingly

You can make the breakfast bowls at home and freeze them so it’s cheaper

@@BrittanyRoseHomemakingair Fryer potatoes at 400. 20-25 mins. Eggs. Bacon. Sausage. Crumble the meat. You can get the container for meal prep at Sam's club.
I think you got a lot of stuff for $800. I like the idea of monthly shopping. I think $50 a week will be tough but you can do it!
In theory, I should only need milk/produce/ things that are on a great sale. Hopefully I can do it 😬

So I’m hanging out around 170 right now, and I’ve been that for a month or so. When I started back on Mounjaro after my month off I was closer to 180

Yes! I’m actually filming a video for next week where I show it all stocked up, and show my meal plan for the month. It’s been almost a week and I really feel like it working well so far!

How often does your son drink soda
He drinks 1 a day. Usually with Dinner. He has a TON of soda right now so I probably won’t need it next month
Great haul but be mindful the items that have zero sugars contain a sugar that can cause cancer.
When u speak of say hamburger patties you only say cooking four theres five in your family so why dont you cook five or does someone not like hamburgers

I agree. However I am trying just to get a zero waste system going right now. I’m getting so sick of throwing things away that should have been used. So that’s the focus for right now
