3:00 I chose the bottom handle face, and then clicked control, and then clicked up like you did, but no extrusion happened.

Hi, I like your tutorial. I'm new to blender. At the 4.22 time stamp you show how to control-click extrude the parts of the handle. I can't figure out what modes you have to be in to do that. Nothing happens when I do that. Can you explain that step maybe?
EDIT: figured it out. You need to enable the 'extrude to cursor' option under the 'extrude' button..

Sorry , can't see extrude to cursor option, i am using blender 2.83
@@herryomar8000 I found it in edit mode. If you go to the tool bar and click the little triangle in the bottom right of the extrude button you get a menu for the different extrude types. Extrude to cursor is the last option in the menu. After that the selected face will extrude to anywhere that you click in the view port. There is no need to hold down any key. Holding the control key must of been for past versions of blender.

Hey something went wrong when i added the subdivision surface and then went into edit mode it still showed the box and i couldn’t select the black grid you did, could you please help?

how do you select multiple faces? mine only wants to select one at a time.(such as the part of when you start to extrude the faces) i'm on the newest version.
Hold shift while you press the faces

hey man, nice vid, but in mine for some reason i cant extrude any of the faces, u can only extrude the lines that were originally there before the sub division modifier, know how to get around this?
You need to go into face selecting mode to select faces

how do i select multiple edges at once
Hold Shift then click on the edges you want. You can also click and drag your mouse to select multiple selections at once. I'm just started learning Blender yesterday so I hope that helps.

You have to use your number pad. If you don't have one you could look up how to change the keys.
