but she did address that? Shopify itself won't create traffic for you as it doesn't advertise. Etsy does but if you're in a saturated market you might have to pay for additional ads.
@@anananamouse @cingco439 I think its a double edge sword because while you can run ads within Etsy (if you don't, you wont get any traffic -- I've tried haha) you're not creating a mailing or customer list from anyone who buys from you. That said, you're not actually building an audience. While it's traffic, it's not really high quality traffic that you can build a brand with, IMO. At that point, you might as well pay to run ads with Google or Meta because at least you'll be seeing detailed analytics, building an email list and can advertise to those people in the future.
