please please tell me how you keep track of all your inventory while selling across so many platforms. the thought of doing inventory while only doing etsy and in person stresses me out
Just recently stumbled over your work again here on UA-cam and honestly it inspired me soo so much to reopen my shop soon and work on more products and really just go for it 😍💕 thanks for all your advice and sharing your journey! ✨ I want to reopen my etsy but also sell on a local swiss platform but i’m not sure how to keep track of selling on two pIatforms!😳
I bought my domain name yesterday. I have been making cards I have more printed cards than I can count. I am working now on finding a way to design and out source. I am checking into samples. I might have to keep looking.
Such a great video, thank you for sharing SO much helpful information with us! Wondering if you could go into more detail about how you sell stickers on TikTok shop? Thanks so much!!! ♡
It’s generous of you to share - thanks ! How do you know how much inventory to invest in intiially? I guess as minimal as possible til you see what sells? Love all your designs and you sharing your business story is super inspirational.
I’ve tried to incentivize purchasing multiple stickers on Etsy but my customers typically purchase one or two of the same design. So I’ll be uploading packs. Do you still feel that it’s beneficial to list each sticker individually on Etsy? I saw you have them listed as singles but wondering if you were to do it all over again, if that’s still the route you’d take, thank you!
Question: Whem launching an new sticker design, how do you know how many to order from your printer? Have you designed and printed stickers that were not as successful as you had hoped?
I’m curious how you make your planners or notebooks. I have tons of wildlife and nature of my own and thought it may be a good idea to create some, but I could also be wrong 😅
I want to start this by saying you've been a big inspiration to me. At around 3:45 you mentioned to stay away from trademark or copyrighted stuff... how do you get away with having your taylor swift inspired designs? I mean even the term dog mom is trademarked, and you can't put it on a shirt or anything without getting a takedown. I'm not trying to start beef, just trying to understand. I have wanted to start a business for so long, but i feel like there are no original ideas anymore, and everything has a chance to be considered 'copying' anymore.. It's just discouraging. And i dont feel like starting a business to hopefully make $500 a month, just to get sued and lose everything i own.
Thank you so much. But each order from the sticker maker must have cost thousands?? At first when you start money is tight. I love your designs. Awesome products you have. I am getting a floral apron and some stuff for my kitchen.
Honestly, they didn't! Sticker Blitz lets you put in really small orders, so you can order just. few dozen of each design as you get started. It really helped me grow! Thanks for the support :)
Thank you for the education. It’s fun to watch you go back & forth from artist mode to lawyer business mode. “The force is strong in this one.” Oops, probably trademarked.
Great video! Do you create all your art in Procreate in CMYK? I noticed all the sticker companies request that color profile but all my work in Procreate is currently RBG :(
I don't make any of my stickers myself, I outsource them to Sticker Blitz! This video talks more about the different companies I've tried. It's really not as expensive as it sounds to start out this way, and it'll save you a bunch of time!
My favorite company to work with is Sticker Blitz! I actually made a video comparing several companies here: ua-cam.com/video/Ok9MfAkuFN0/v-deo.html And if you do place an order with Sticker Blitz, be sure to use code EBD10 so you get 10% off your first order!
How do you deal with the shipping costs on your website if someone orders 1 sticker and 1 planner? Shopify just lumps the shipping costs of both items like its individual orders. Charging 2 shipping rates.
Sticker Blitz! Here's a look at what I like about them: ua-cam.com/video/Ok9MfAkuFN0/v-deo.html Also be sure to use code EBD10 to get 10% off your first order!
Love your video, so helpful!! I have a question concerning quotes stickers. Which type of fonts do you use? Free fonts? Do you purchase licences? That's where I'm lost!
I have purchased the fonts that are part of my company branding, but I use my own handwriting for most of the stickers I make! I just write in Procreate as I draw
How do you actually make a profit with Etsy and Faire? Especially Faire when wholesale is half your retail and their fees on top of that? Is it worth it? Or does it just drive traffic to your shop? Their fees are high and your prices are really reasonable.
I would only outsource stickers if I knew the designs would sell. I have had MANY designs that didnt sell and thankfully I only made a couple of each. Most people starting out probably wont be able to sell the MOQ (50-100) of any one design.
I design every one of my stickers and patterns myself! I would be very careful using anything AI because that's creating based on other people's art. The same goes for clip art, photography and any other design. If the artist hasn't expressly said it's free to use, assume you can't - or reach out and ask.
I would definitely like to see more videos about this! As someone at the beginning I’m nervous to invest a lot of money into one design and I’d like to see how you grew your inventory, if you tested designs, etc. Thank you!
Why do you have stickers shipped to you, then you ship to customers? That seems like extra work. Why not use print on demand instead? Did you have to incorporate yourself to sell on Etsy?
A 3 x 3 die cut sticker on Printify, for example, is $3.05 with $5.67 shipping for the first sticker. No matter how many you sell it's $3.05 per sticker, your cost. Sticker Blitz, which Elyse has said she uses, charges $.29 for the same sticker in batches of a1000 (and she sells hundreds of thousands of stickers per year). I'm sure she can ship for less than Printify charges too. Very little profit in print on demand stickers. Would you rather sell a 29 cent sticker for 4 dollars, or a 3 dollar sticker for 4 dollars?
I didn’t say that. I said “in general stay away from copyrighted and trademarked material.” Crucially, not all uses or applications of copyrighted and trademarked material is illegal or violates intellectual property laws. As a copyright holder myself, I would never advocate or suggest infringing on copyrights. There is a lot of gray area in intellectual property law that I am happy to get into in another video as it was my main area of focus when I was in law school!

Stresses me out too. Thank you for pointing that out. Its an important detail.. ugh.. :/

Awesome! I promise it's coming soon. Next few weeks :)

Love this. My 8 year old wants to start selling stickers. This is a great help!

Curious about where you outsource. I’ve used Sticker Mule. Can’t wait to see your follow up video about your favs! 🎉
Coming soon, promise! Hopefully next week

The information in the yellow banners with white writing is difficult to read, especially on a phone. Just letting you k know.

Pop up markets are best for marketing and getting your name out there. I’ve hardly ever made much more than the vendor fee.

It depends on what business you work with. Some will do as few as 5-10 stickers, which is really helpful when you're testing designs!
@@Elysebreannedesign oh that would be helpful to know. i havent looked into it enough
