My Maxx is the most durable truck I have ever played with. Similar construction on something smaller would be even more durable. This would be awesome for anyone getting into the hobby. My local hobby shop owner ordered 10 and got them last week. Already sold all of them. There is a lot of controversy about upgrading this to a 3S, but if I’m being honest, you can already get 3S capable vehicles for less than upgrading this, and I don’t know why you would even need that much power on something this small. It’s supposed to be a fun small basher, not some super high speed mini truck.
After finding out the issues with this i brought a MT10 instead, and a mojave grom blx to use indoors with drift wheels. Hopefully traxxas will bring out a VXL minimaxx with upgraded parts.
It's a Traxxas truck so it's gonna last, and in that small package you can drive it flat out most of the time without losing sight of it in an instant. Same theory as driving to the max a slower car instead of driving slow a faster car.
I don't own anything Traxxas .I enjoy red cat shredder but they discontinued it 1/6 and out of the box 40 mph and only had 1 part break once and I own the RC going on five years diff don't even have a second rc shredder my only rc and it's a blast and for the cost . my buddy Maxx breaks something every week 😂😂 and all I did was add a washer's to center diff and never had a problem since . I don't think I'd play with a Traxxas even if some one given me one I'd put on the shelf
Overpriced for underpowered system. It will get more expensive, upgrading it to 3s and the drive system to handle the 3s. Traxxas really knows how rip-off people who definitely don't know or know there're getting rip-off.

I think it's in a perfect place. So small and portable, but so tough and fun.

@@TommyThousandFaces so true man!! It will go right under most cars, but a maxx or Xmaxx.. you’ll crash right into the car and damage it.
This is a fun video. At $270 it's not anywhere near impulse buy territory. Mind covering some inexpensive ones that are decent?
Picking up one next week
Excellent video !!!
@@Samhain2323 thanks man!

I love Traxxas because my hobby shop carries all the parts I'll ever need. I will not buy something they don't have parts for.
It's a cute little rc , all I'm saying .
@@MrtipRC it is very cute!
😉👍
Nice!

What's a good inexpensive one that is not complete junk for someone starting out?
