My Maxx is my favorite RC made. Tough with plenty of power! I am disappointed that Traxxas put a junk pot metal driveline in something that they state on their own website is tough as nails and can handle a 3S system. I don’t see a problem with channels calling them out because it’s lying and being deceptive at best. When traxxas fixes this and makes a 3S version I will definitely be getting one
Agreed. The bare minimum Traxxas needs to do is rewrite their product page, which would be the most affordable way to cut the corner. But I believe they should upgrade the diffs, maybe include the center diff upgrade out of the box at no extra cost.. but that would be extremely expensive. I'd be perfectly fine with a page rewrite and apology to current owners.
Traxxas says they're "bomb proof" and "Even Velineon 3-cell LiPo power is no problem for Mini Maxx’s ultra-stout driveline." As well as something Tomley RC noticed: they claim the diffs use silicone gaskets, but they actually use paper gaskets. Not a big deal but still another lie from Traxxas. They either need to completely rewrite their product page or actually offer a free OEM upgrade like RedCat (shocks on the Valkyrie, diffs on the Vigilante, as well as making both of those upgrades the standard equipment) and Arrma (free replacement V2 diffs in the GROM trucks, as well as making the upgrades the standard equipment) have done in the past. I don't pick sides. I just know BS when I see it and unfortunately Traxxas dropped the ball with this one completely. Most of their stuff is great, but this is borderline false advertising. Unacceptable
Has anyone played around with the tires? Maybe swapping front and rear or running both rear or both front? Curious to see if it makes a difference and how
So why do u not do orther rc company , losi teams associate arrma redcat hobao team corally , tomley rc ,definitely nailed the facts on this mini max the drops blew this year.

The mini maxx can't handle 3s as advertised... Too much money and effort to upgrade everything else to handle 3s, which is what everyone wants, makes it not worth it unfortunately. Better to wait until they have a version that can handle 3s from the factory as advertised, which is definitely going to come out after all of the honest complaints and reviews of all the issues with his vehicle. This video is just a couple silly kids excited about something, which is great. Glad they're having fun, though! Lol

@@japyoo2248 it’s the BL2s system. It won’t let you use reverse then slam the gas. If it’s really bad you can calibrate it like any other esc.
