The differ b/w electrolytic cell and Daniel cell ; the anode is positive and cathode is negative in electrolytic cell while anode is negative and cathode is positive in Daniel cell.Actually the anode is negative in Daniel because of the presence of zinc sulphate solution in its half cell when zinc looses its electrons , they gather at anode and as electrons are negatively charged particles so anode also Becomes negative. These electrons flow from Zn_electrode through the external wire in a circuit to copper electrode (cathode), these electrons are gained by the copper ions of solution and copper atoms deposit at the cathod. As the cathode looses electrons so it becomes positive. Thanks!

very amazing ap plz reply kiya karan ma har lecture pa comment karta hon but ap reply nai kartay ap jasay sir ma na nai dakhay ap ki jitni tarif ki jae kam ha ya meri taraf sa ap ka liyay DO LIVE LIKE A CANDLE WHICH BURN ITSELF BUT GIVES LIGHT TO OTHERS ALWAYS BE HAPPY ap hamasha dusaroon ko light datay han
sir new book main kuch new topics bhee hain aap wo bhee cover karwa dain. new topics:batteries, dry cell, lead storage battery, alloy formation, corrosion and its preventation, electroplating on steel.
In the last step of a rxn... Copper doesn't carry positive charge after gain electrons.. Bczz copper is metal and has tendency to stabilize itself after gaining electrons... And when any metal gain electrons.. Never bear positive charge on it.. Correct that point
Sir ; when copper gains electron so there will be negative charge on the copper sulphide but there is positive. Please answer my question. And other lecture was great.
In the diagram we have positive charge on Cooper because it needs 2 electrons when two electrons are gained it becomes neutral so there is no charge after reduction
I have a question sir...in the end ..amm reaction of cathode ...why there is charge +2 on Cu while it gains 2 electrons and become anion ..so there should not be -2charge????...plz work me out..
you are right dear..in left side of overall reaction we add the both left sides of half reaction and in the right side of overall reaction we add the both right sides of half reactions...
I also want to clear this. I'm not sure but i think in electrolytic cell, the positive end of baterry is towards anode so anode is alo positive. Wheres in galvanic cell, there's no battery. And oxidation occurs at anode (Zn loses electrons) . Electrons gather at anode. As electrons are negative particles, anode becomes negatively charged
In the galvanic cell, we are converting chemical energy into electrical energy. So in this cell the battery is not used but we use any voltmeter or lamp to check the flow of electrons
Q k wo Cu cations ki form mai hota hai means uss k paas 2 protons zaida hain aur jb 2 electrons aur gain karay ga tou wo balance ho k neutral atom bnaye ga
Sir aik bat bta da ka anode ka oper to postive charge ata ha or cathode ka uper negative Lakin yaha tu sab kuch ULTA HA 🤔🤔PLZ sir jaLdi sa jaLdi is question ka ANSWER da Dena

Is this from unique notes😂
Thankyou after 3 yearsss :)
@@zaraj6410 lol same
Thanks for information
But in electrolytic cell, also the anions lose electrons at anode ... Why doesn't it become negative in that case. Kindly help
Last main Cu²+ ion after accepting 2e- will convert into Cu⁰ metal. Correct this please
Correct
Same point...
ye ghalti se lik liya hein. Wo ye jante hein.
In overall reaction yes!good point to be noticed.but It was by mistake
Yeah! it's same point to be noticed by me but it's just a mistake ☺️
Well explained finally clear all the concepts 👍♥
Sure
May Allah bless you Ameen Sum Ameen😇😇😇

The Way You are explaining Sir, Incredible , 😍
Very Nice teaching method
Thank you so much ma BHT confuse thi and then I'm impress to this channel
Can we use other electrode instead of Zn &Cu in galvanic cell or not?
you have to use the salt as an electrolyte of those electrodes then..
Highly appreciated 👍
I understood the concept thakyou.
Very well explained sir❤ thanks sir❤
Very well explained sir, Thanks♥️
You make my teaching skills extraordinary.....thankiew sir
Great 👍 I like it very helpful lecture
Amazing lecture sir
You have clear my confusion
Last part of overall reaction is not correct . right is Znplus2and Cuonly copper is formed
Highly appreciated...👍
12:04 sir yaha copper pr charge minus 2 hai?
kyu k usne electron-s gain kiye lose nai
uspe koi charge bhi nhi ayega kyu ke woh 2electron defficient hai or usne woh electeon gain ki toh uspe koi charge nhi hoga
sir new book main kuch new topics bhee hain aap wo bhee cover karwa dain.
new topics:batteries,dry cell,lead storage battery,alloy formation,corrosion and its preventation,electroplating on steel.
plzzz sir
Do this
Anode loose electron . loose kerne wale k pass positive charge hota he na to phir anode PR negative Q he? Please tell me as early as possible.
Awesome sir thank u so much your lecture cleared all my confusions
there is no battery in galvanic cell sir .At 4:20 you said it is connected with battery.Thank you
You are right 👍
Please make some New Lec over New chemistry book of all chapter and rest of all ..!
In the last step of a rxn... Copper doesn't carry positive charge after gain electrons.. Bczz copper is metal and has tendency to stabilize itself after gaining electrons... And when any metal gain electrons.. Never bear positive charge on it.. Correct that point
The Overall reaction of Daniel's cell is written wrong, copper doesn't have a charge on it. Thanks
Sir so nice lecture 👌👌👌
The fact that most of us are not learning a thing from school.
Sir G copper 2 electrons gain krleta hai toh uspe -2 Ka charge ajayega bcz. No. Of e- 's(electrons) increase
Brilliant sir
U are good teacher I really appreciated
Thanks soo much sir
You are genious
Sir ; when copper gains electron so there will be negative charge on the copper sulphide but there is positive. Please answer my question. And other lecture was great.
Anode + and cathode - hota hai

Cu ko neutral hona chaeay sir,,ya cu negative hona chaeay kiyun ke gain of electron se negative charge aati hy
Sir u r greate
Good explain all the concept are clear
Excuse me sir! Its mean ak ion may electron zyada ya kaam hony ki bna pr charge postive or negative ho ga ans plzz
Yes it will be like that
Explained very well 😇
Galvanic cell other name is Daniel cell it’s not a type
Sir jo atom slectron loss krtay han to un pr postive charge hotaa ha
Yes
Sorry I don't know but in my information yes it becomes positive while losing electron
EXCELLENT 👏👏
Good sir✌✌✌👍👍👍👍
Ultra pro legends watch this video one day before exam 🤘🤘✌️
Sir g ZN lose kr rha ha electrons ko ar Cu accept kr rha ha Tu cu py negative charge q nhi Ata gaining of electrons sa Tu anion bnta ha na
Overall good lecture but sorry to say at last reaction in overall reaction Cu will not carry +2 charge as a product
I have a question sir...in the end ..amm reaction of cathode ...why there is charge +2 on Cu while it gains 2 electrons and become anion ..so there should not be -2charge????...plz work me out..
Ghalti se lika he
Last ma Cu 2e gain karke neutral hojata he sir , aur us pe +² charge nahi ayeegi 12:03 per
Well explained all concept are clear
Sir agar anode electons deta rehe ga to wo bhi to electron deficent ban gai ga na
yes at the end your anode will consume and you will get no electrical energy..
Kindly correct the net reaction zn + cu+2====zn+2 +cu
Sir You didn't explained that how salt bridge keep electrical neutrality in each half cell ?
Sir i am sorry ya last reaction Jo ap nay ki ous may net cell reaction CU +2 nai balkay Cu 0 ata hay
Very nice my all doubts cleared
I have an question that "Is dry cell a galvanic cell?"
HANIA ALI
It is an example of galvanic cell..... battery is a galvanic cell
Thank you sr❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊❤❤😊❤❤❤❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤
A problem,
Zinc has more electronegativity than why it looses electrons, it should gain electron.
Electronegativity is a phenomenon used in covalent bonding when electrons are being shared
Zinc has more electro positivity also that's why it donotes electrons early
Ap buhat acah samjahaty hai
Please Dua kary ky Board mi Top kary Ameen👐
Ameen
Sir plz start 11 classes lectures
In the overall reaction you have written cu+2(in product).i did understand that thing!
Salwa Noor its only CU not CU+2 . he did mistake maybe
you are right dear..in left side of overall reaction we add the both left sides of half reaction and in the right side of overall reaction we add the both right sides of half reactions...
Daniel cell is not a type of galvanic cell it is actually second name of galvanic cell not a type built the correct concepts plz
great sir
Sir catjod pa + q rkhty han hum or anod pa - q rkhty ha glvanic cell ma ..reason btny
sir its non spontaneous reactions so its not use batry
Why is the anode negative when it was positive in electrolytic cell?
I also want to clear this. I'm not sure but i think in electrolytic cell, the positive end of baterry is towards anode so anode is alo positive. Wheres in galvanic cell, there's no battery. Sir galvanic cell main battery kahan sy aa gai?
Amazing
Sr over all reaction cu k uper +2 q aya jb k right side py wo zero py jana chiye tha usy
Best☺️👍
Thankyou Sir

What is the role of salt bridge in this cell??
To make the solution neutral
it makes both solutions neutral by emigrating some ions from one solution to another solution and another solution to one solution
Sir you make a mistake 12:03 CU stable ho jayega
Sir why Zn looses electron and Cu gains electron ???????
Sir overall reaction ma CU2+ sa Cu0 ban jata han
Which ions migrate
sir agar galvanic cell sponteneous work karay gaa to us may battery ka kia sean ha
In the galvanic cell, we are converting chemical energy into electrical energy. So in this cell the battery is not used but we use any voltmeter or lamp to check the flow of electrons
Basically Battery is used to store that chemical energy. So yea....
Yar shirt kaha sa li ha
good good good good good goooooooooooooooooooooooooood
Very clearly explained
Cu accept karna k baad negative charge gain kara ga not positive
Anode tu hum postive ko kehty hain edhar ap ne negative ke leye use keya hain????
Anyone in 2020..
Jab cu ZN ka 2electrons ko gain karta ha to negative charge q nahi ata
Q k wo Cu cations ki form mai hota hai means uss k paas 2 protons zaida hain aur jb 2 electrons aur gain karay ga tou wo balance ho k neutral atom bnaye ga
zabardast
When their is no salt bridge , then what will happen?
Good method
Cu+2 k 2 electrons kidhar jatay hay?
SIr very good lecturers
Thanks
Sir aik bat bta da ka anode ka oper to postive charge ata ha or cathode ka uper negative Lakin yaha tu sab kuch ULTA HA 🤔🤔PLZ sir jaLdi sa jaLdi is question ka ANSWER da Dena
He hi to baat hai is main or electrolytic cell main ye hi sab se major difference hai
Legends are watching the video one day before exam 😂😂😂😂
Awesome Video
Anode is positive and cathode is negative than why in the diagram its opposite
❤
