  • We have been quite busy lately carrying out plenty of flight testing of Jetson® ONE production prototype. Here you can see some forward flight, tight turns and a general demonstration of awesome VTOL capabilities with 50kg payload. We will be progressively adding more ballast each flight(up to maximum 110kg).
Based on testing we are expecting up to 25 minutes of flight(plus 20% reserve) for pilots on the lighter weight scale end. keep in mind not all of the protective shielding and fairings have been installed yet.
You can already place an order thus helping us bring this compact electric flying machine to the market quicker and accelerating large scale production.
Please share and subscribe. With your support the future of personal aviation begins now!
Please visit www.jetson.com/ for more details

It looks good, but the frame is not yet completely optimal.
The outer frame is a good idea, but a lot of stiffeners can be saved if it is completely enclosed and the cockpit is connected with only 4 pairs of rods, which also have engines. So structurally it would look like a bicycle wheel, which we know is a pretty good structure.
I would use carbon composite where the casing and support structure are the same, but I understand that it is easier to develop with aluminum.

Nice work! Looks really competetive with the other approaches out there.
I do worry about the propellers beeing able to direclty slice the pilot apart when there is a problem with a bird or a broken prop.. But I guess you have other problems then...
What is the minimum height your ballistic parachute will work? The most dangerous parts of the flight will be whenever you are low to the ground..
A idea : could it be possible that it could keep flying with one motor lost? Lets say we have the L and R rotating ones. Now when a L breaks you could spin up all the R motors a bit more and throttle down the opposite side of the broken Motor. That would mean there is more load on the R spinning Motors while basically the two L motors throttle down enough so they have the same thrust as the one working L motor at full thrust? That would add a ton of redundancy if that worked!:)

Doesn't have to have any baggage are as far as I'm concerned. Just use it for fun personal transportation. Also, I'm warning at what altitudes you have flown it at so far and if there will be room for the venerable ballistic shoot for the just in case but you hope it never happens type of situation.. I'd appreciate you keeping me updated on this or give me any other information you may have on it. I've been a licensed aviator for over 36 years and I've owned several airplanes including the one I have now so I'm not just tired so to speak.
