When you leave for an extended amount of time, freeze some water in a cup. Then place a penny on top of the ice and put it back in the freezer. If you experience a power issue while you are gone, the penny will sink into the ice as it melts. This way you know there was an issue even if the power came back on and refroze everything in the freezer.
My son wants that jeep set up! While we watched your video last night Craig commented on the Rubicon being a gas guzzler! We need to show old son this video!
Get a Toyota FJ. They don’t make em like they used to but there’s lots that never went off road to buy. Jeeps are not as reliable. Don’t ask me how I know🙄 I have had an fj and a jeep the FJ is a 2008 and never broke down. The jeep has been stranded and towed a dozen times from parts that just break.
When Craig was talking about the camping experience at 24:25, I was lmao at Leland who was watching Craigs shadow on the ground!! I was waiting for him to pounce!!
Love this! I was on the edge of my seat when you guys drove into the river... I stepped out on 1 foot of water in a river to retrieve my lure. As soon as i stepped in the water I sunk up to my chest through the mud. I was in panic... I reached for the small island just in front and grabbed some grass for dear life......
Oh my goodness! I bet that was scary lol. When we talked to the UTV rental people the previous week, they were telling us about how there's quicksand in some areas, so that definitely had us a little nervous!
They call that quicksand! I was hiking near Zion and another friend and I stepped in the wrong place and we sunk up to our hips. We were laughing so hard that we couldn’t get out. Another friend , who didn’t sink, found a big sturdy stick and we used it to pull ourselves out. I was totally freaked about stepping in the water after that.
We ended up heading back to Utah following my work trip to Salt Lake, stayed at BLM Willow creek… took our jeep out on the trails, already planned a trip back for same week next year! You guys join our group: Where the blacktop ends the fun begins! 30,000 members across the US who are outdoor enthusiasts!! Love this video!
If you borrowed Trin you could have had a 3 dog night, lol. It is fun camping with people that never camped when they are all excited and happy, it was fun watching you guys being such first timers, it is cute. Mav is such a sweet dog. Stay safe and healthy.
I love that you threw up the celcius for us Canucks 🇨🇦 right at the beginning! I love how Maverick has “his” spot between you guys even in the keep! You guys are so fun to watch, when Victoria is chill, Craig is worrying about something (being cold). Then when Victoria is worried about the river, Craig is mostly cool as a cucumber!
How cute Victoria when you said, “no one told me I had dirt all over my face” 😅 Craig awsome breakfast burritos 🙌 For your first camping you both even Maverick and Leland did sooo good, especially in such a beautiful place!! Stay safe 💛💛💛💛
I really enjoyed this episode. I loved the beautiful scenery and shots you shared. Your content was great, I loved that you shared the not so good moments (ex. burning the chair) along with the great ones. It made us feel like we were really on the adventure with you. Because of you sharing this we have been inspired to do this as well. This is my favorite video of yours so far - great job!
I live in Utah and have never explored that area of our big beautiful State, it was awesome to see! It's usually very hot there, so while it was cold at times, I would rather layer up than be too hot! Thank you for taking us along, it was epic. We will be rolling that direction very soon; before it gets to warm.
Good recipes for you! Buy kabobs marinated in soy sauce for 48 hours, then cooked with air fried potatoes! Once done, squirt with lemon juice on both and put parmesan cheese on fries! To marinade kabobs, small slit in plastic put in soy sauce close with duct tape!Enjoy!
Oh my, the chair with the hole in it is hilarious and slightly before that the dog made an appearance in the background lol. Camping is fun and I’m glad you are both doing these. I have thoroughly enjoyed these last few videos. This was also one of my favorite videos that you both have done. Keep up the great content and thank you.
I loved this Moab adventure and welcome more of these types of videos. I was so relieved that all was well with your RV and truck. Thank God. Safe travels!👍🏾
Alright, you two big off readers, great video. we really enjoyed it.. But next time, make sure you try to find a place to camp 🏕 that has cover from the wind, and if you can't find the cover, use your jeep as cover... Great job, we loved it
Love the « I missed our bed! » It is different but still an adventure ! Maybe share some of the information on where you rented the Jeep, give idea of the cost for 3 days. Love it!
As an amateur astronomer, I found the videos taken during the night very interesting. In the first, the bottom part of the constellation Orion was visible. This included the stars Saiph and Rigel. Just above were the clusters and nebula, M42 and M43, that makeup Orion’s sword. New star formation is occurring in the nebula. Also visible was part of the constellation Sirus. The second-night video showed the entire constellations of Orion and Sirus including Sirus, the brightest star in our night sky. Hope you can make more like that.
@@wildrvlife we’re still in Quartzsite, but heading up to the four corners area soon we seem to stay mainly in the southwest, but been to about 40 States.
we were amazed that Beef jerkey was very cheap in Moab! we got family bags for $9 each where they are $17 here in TN. We loved Schaffer's trail though! wish we could have been there more, but only had 5 days around Moab.
Very nice video guys. Remind me of us 40 years ago first camping. Never got over it. Love the meals and breakfast. We just bought a jeep to tow and for adventures like yours. Awesome. The one thing that keeps us is Jesus. Mt. 6:33
We live in Northern Utah on a ski resort and love it when we can go to Zion’s, Bryce, Capital Reef, Escalante and Arches. Your travels are always so fun to watch. We just got back from Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and had our own adventure this weekend. Thank you for sharing
That was some beautiful scenery. Just a reminder to me when I was on the road. Thank you. I really enjoy watching. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe out there. God bless you both.❤❤❤❤

I (Victoria) was so nervous!! when i finally looked down at the drone camera I realized the water was so shallow but still expected that it would drop off at any second LOL
If you're ever in Moab when we are, or anywhere we might cross paths, we'd LOVE to take you out on some real trails in our built Jeep. Super fun! Moab sure is a place of it's own, huh? One of our favorites! We've stayed at Utahraptor also but a little farther down from the beginning.
Wow! You guys did a fantastic video!! It was so much fun watching your adventure there. We went to Moab years ago in our RV but didn’t boondock. It was so awesome seeing the places you explored! Thanks for taking us along!
It's great you get to go on such a great adventure. I'm definitely an East coast girl and I would be so scared to drive in such a remote area. Instead, I'll experience it through your videos. Thank you!
We’re in Moab (from Texas) right now. April 21-25, towed our 1999 Cherokee, broke two axles the first day, replaced them in about an hour, and we are rock climbing again. Saw Top of the World yesterday. Fun times. Might do the Element experience sometime.
You guys are amazing, so resourceful and you all seem perfectly compatible. It’s a joy to follow your adventures. Utah is an amazing place, sometime you must visit the northern parts with beautiful cities in the mountainous valleys.
We love watching you two, Craig is soooo entertaining. We're on the road in a Sporttrek 291VRK travel trailer about 8 months, home in Buffalo, NY for the summer months and a month at Christmas to see the kids and granddaughter. You asked about dealing with firewood. I carry a normal hatchet, a mull, and also a cordless sawzall. We take a bunch of kiln dried oak boards with us in the truck bed for emergencies. We got a free trial of the app onXoffroad and it told us the different “grades” of all the trails, it was super helpful. @justaman2363 if you stay on the “green” trails, you could probably be fine and find some really epic spot!

The landscapes are incredibly beautiful, even the bland, monochromatic formations. Day 2 smores were well deserved!
Absolutely! It's so crazy how different the landscape can be within a 2-hour drive.
