*Who are we?*
We’re Victoria & Craig! In 2021, we decided that we needed to make life a little more exciting, so we bought a used fifth wheel and completely renovated it. Then, we sold our house in Tallahassee, Florida and hit the road full time in our RV! We’ve traveled all around the United States (and Baja Mexico!) and fell in love with boondocking in our RV at the most beautiful places. In 2023, we upgraded to a brand new Brinkley RV Model Z 3100. You’ll always find us on some kind of outdoor adventure, whether it’s hiking the Grand Canyon, rock climbing in Yosemite or surfing the shores of Baja Mexico. Subscribe to our channel (bit.ly/3ssOjGT) to follow along on our full time RV living adventures!
You kids are hilarious! When Craig said I don’t know what to do, there’s a naked man, had me rolling!😂
3-step turkey burger: mix it, cook it, eat it. Perfect!
Totally with you guys when it comes to naked man at the hot springs. Nobody wants to hike 5 miles to see some knucklehead sunning his schmecky!!! Fun video kids! Thanks for sharing.
Lol right?! And thanks for watching!!
It’s just part of Hot Springs culture, and always has been this way.
You should carry a comb with you. They're great for removing burrs and cactus. There will still be some spines that need to be pulled out. You can cook stuffed peppers in the air fryer too. FYI, when you start heading north to Alaska through Canada, keep checking the wild fire reports. We've already had 2 evacuations in northern British Columbia and Alberta due to wild fires.
Normally, we have something, but there has not been any cactus. I don't even know how he found that one. I can see how comb would work great though.
“Cooking with Craig”
3 step.. steps
New segment!
LMAO - watching Craig touching the ground turkey was hilarious! He and Eric are SO much alike, it’s crazy! 😂
Haha, it's definitely not my favorite part. I hope you both have been doing well.
Wear disposable gloves when you mix the meat, less gross and easy to clean afterwards
The hot springs in Utah are a built sulphury. If you are heading north into Idaho, it shouldn't take you too much out of the way, but you should definitely stop at Lava Hot Springs.
As for the lake, that is Utah lake and it does have algal bloom issues, so keep the dogs clear of it.
Love seeing an RV UA-cam couple actually cooking in their trailer and living!!
Who knew Craig was such a chef! The burgers looked delicious!!! You two are being so adventurous out there boondocking…60days,WOW!!!
Haha, thank you, but there was a lot of guidance going on behind the camera.
I use a TUFFIOM 24-Inch Rolling Magnetic Pick-Up Sweeper to go over the area before pulling into a boondocking spot. I pulled into a site once and the next morning I woke up to two flat tires. Now I don't go camping without a sweeper and a tire kit. Love your all's videos. Thanks for letting us tag along.
Craig you are hilarious 😂😂😂
😂🤣 it’s always an entertaining day with Craig around! -Victoria
Utah is a very beautiful state. Thank you for sharing all your adventures! Loved watching Craig make his turkey burgers. Your whole meal looked 😋 yummy. Can't go wrong with stuffed peppers and sweet potatoes!
Utah is amazing!! We’re really loving our time here. Thanks for coming along with us for all the adventures!
First off, it's a good thing you didn't go walking through the cactus with your flip-flops.
Secondly, your "burgers" are technically meatloaf patties 😊
You guys are awesome!
You guys are a weekly "must watch" for us. We so enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much, that means a lot!!
Oh, almost forgot to mention, duct tape can be quite helpful removing those fine cactus needles!
Ahhh good tip!!
Another great video.
I wanted to mention something concerning the new hitch setup.
Make sure your breakaway cable is shorter than the chains. If your trailer ever comes loose and be pulling on the chains without ever the breaks being applied by the breakaway.
That is a really good point, thank you!
You could have had regular burgers instead of cream cheese. Kind of canceled eachother out. Cream cheese stuffing was probably actually more calorie/fat/cholesterol dense than regular ground beef. But the episode was great, super entertaining!
Craig, if you scrape the food off the cutting board with the back of the knife it will stay sharper longer. The grooves on the side of the knife are called granton's they let food slip off the knife when you cut instead of sticking to the blade. The knife you are using is called a Santoku.
Good to know! Thank you!
Watch your dogs with the cactus. Our pup tried to sniff one in AZ and we ended up at the emergency vet to get all the quills out of her lip and paw. They missed getting a couple tiny pieces out of her paw and it became infected. 😢Over $1000, a minor surgery and a few weeks of a “cone of shame” (in an RV!) she was finally back to normal!
Love the cooking segment! Awesome progress on your 60 day boondocking challenge. I bet long hot showers are going to be the award at the end of the challenge. We love your videos!
Regarding the hand rail, if it makes you feel better people are usually older than they feel. 😃
Haha very true! 😆
You two are so fun to watch lol
So true about the showers!
You two are such fun to watch! Love your vids!!! ❤
Wow! You added the desk! Looks awesome ❤
Cracking up! Great video!
You two are great fun to watch, like seeing you cook at your RV. It is funny watching your video tonight in our RV at a state park in ohio. We had turkey burgers over the fire tonight. Not as special at Craig's. Stay safe, boondocking.
Another great viedo🎉God bless❤
Another awesome video guys! I can't imagine boondocking for that long. Those area look amazing. Happy travels! 🐾🐾
We always have a needle nose Leatherman or Gerber multitool with us. With dogs you never know what they will get into. Also helps when something breaks iñ camp or out on the trail.
Love you start by telling us where you are & what your doing!! It’s only been a few days, but puts me right back to where you left off! ❤️
Another great video!
Love the water fall!
You two do a great job with these videos they are always entertaining, and funny . keep them a coming and i will keep a watching and enjoying them.
Love your videos and your personal boondocking 60 day challenge! I could not do it, so, it's great to live vicariously thru you guys❤❤❤
Great video!!
Safe travels
Thank you!
I absolutely love watching the two of you in your videos! Brings a smile every time.😊
You are so kind, thank you so much!
You guys are so funny. Craig, my wife tells me to eat slower, it is unhealthy to eat fast. Sometimes she makes me stop eating and take a break. I tell her the food will get cold but like usual she is right.
Are you going up Sheep Creek without a paddle??? Sorry guys I couldn't resist! Lol!
Just starting watching you guys. Thanks for the tours. Subbed🇨🇦❤️
Thanks for the video. I'm heading to Moab next week and Sheep creek was were I was going to stop and camp on my way.
I got chills up my spine when you two did the rope swing. Glad you survived it. Failure may have been worse than a hospital visit. 🙈
Those burgers and peppers would be amazing on the grill
Love the hand rail totally agree with you on the hand rail that comes with most campers and the bouncy steps we recently upgraded to Tork lift steps which are sturdy like yours
Chef daddy 😂
😄
Don’t know why this came up on my feed but it was cool to watch.. I went to those hot springs last September it was amazing.. we actually hicked down from the top. We got there at 10am there were a few ppl down the stream. But we had the pools almost to our selfs. There was a couple where we stayed. It was fine. Within 15 minutes or so it got full of people but by that time we were done. It took us 2 hrs to get there and 2 hrs back. When you hike from the top.(if I’m correct) 😅 it’s been a while.
I'm so ready for more of cooking with Craig's videos soon. He had me LMAO!
Great adventure you guys. We stayed at Miners Canyon and there is always a ton of trash in that area. The Maverick up the road has great dump station and water as well as RV lane too.
Utah is so cool. We look forward to going through there one day. Thanks for sharing all those spots in Utah, also thanks for sharing the turkey burger ingredients; my wife and I were tired of store bought patties and will try this soon, they look delicious! 😊
Thanks for the info on sheep creek, we're head there in a few weeks on our way to Idaho. Looks perfect for a short stay.
Safety rail is very nice…I forget it’s there sometimes as I used to the old style!
You 2 are the best!!! We love your personalities! I loved the cooking with Craig section. 😂😂 You have to do this more often!!!!
Haha we will have to include more of them! Thank you so much!! ❤️
thank you for this video........on a Monday everyone needs a laugh, and no offense to Craig, but his 'cooking show' had me laughing out loud in my office. Keep up the great work, the food looked delicious and the springs are gorgeous. Safe travels
ngl the kitchen show was hilarious. Craig is an excellent host. Love his "no frills" presentation lol
Hi! Love watching your adventures! Just want to suggest always carrying a mini multi tool when hiking with the dogs. The multi tool has pliers, which are great for pulling stickers, fish hooks, etc. out of paws! We both always have ours on us. They help so much. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Kathy and Chris
Love watching your videos, Keep up the good work. The turkey burgers looked very good.
Thank you so much!
We enjoy your videos. We laugh at Craig, or with Craig quite often. We didn’t see any naked people at the creek during our most recent camping trip, but we did see many there wearing next to nothing. We made a quick exit back to the camper lol. Safe travels
This episode had us laughing so much! Chef Craig, random rope swings, 3-step turkey burgers, cacti, eating too fast (that’s me!), and naked men, oh my! Thank you!
On another, certainly less amusing topic, when are you guys going to sell merch again?
That rope swing looked a little frightening-you guys were brave. It was more crowded, but the second spot, at least on camera, looked even prettier than the first one! Love your videos-you have more adventures than other youtubers we watch.
The good o’l three step turkey! 😅
Thanks for taking us along on your adventures! Craig was too funny mixing the turkey burgers, looked like he was going to throw up for a minute there. I can’t imagine someone being naked in public at a hot spring no shame I guess.
You 2 reminded me The song, Streak by Ray Stevens in this video when you saw that naked guy
All these great comments, 😅 you guys are the best. Love what you're creating here 💯 all the way
Safe travels 🫶🙌
Thank you so much! Everyone, for the most part, has been awesome!
Really fun video, folks! There's so much to see and do in Utah...sorry to see it's gotten so crowded though. You're doing great with the boondocking challenge and finding fun wherever you are. Watch out for unexpected "nekkid" people. For real! :-)
You guys are awsome!!! :)
What a beautiful spot! We are getting the courage to try boondocking, thanks for sharing your experience. I carry a box of nitrile food safe gloves for food prep, also good for dumping black tank. Safe travels!!
Yes!!! Definitely give it a try! And that’s a good idea! Hate touching the raw meat with bare hands 😅
Welcome to Utah! Hot Springs are closer for walking in Ogden Canyon. Also we just got back like I said from Lava Hot Springs in Idaho. Your are almost to Eden. Going towards Park City in Midway , Utah is hot springs and pool world famous. This is between Provo and Park City so you are so close. Enjoy our great State of Utah, even though we are from the south as I was born in Florida and coached Tim Tebow in Jacksonville as a youth. Be safe and love everything about your content.
The dogs looked happy running free! They are enjoying the boondocking 60 day challenge huh?Looks really pretty where you've been. Have fun!
They are absolutely loving it! I feel like we’ve been getting such good spots here lately, it’s really been such a great challenge!
“Hey what’s in that brown bag, cookies?”
Victoria: no
Craig: oh, I don’t care then… (door closes suddenly
LOL! - classic moments
😂😂 literally our everyday life
I must love you two, the rope swing scared me bad. I was sure Victoria was going to fall! 😮 I used to love a rope swing over the lake or river. I would see how many back flips I could do. Those days are past now 😂
You guys are so cute! We use turkey a lot around here and I have found if you season it right it's good. I haven't had any complaints even from my MIL who doesn't eat ground turkey.... so she thinks, she has.... and liked it... I made some ground turkey enchiladas and didn't think to let anyone know because at our house we interchange ground turkey and beef all the time (whichever is cheaper). Craig did a great job with seasoning, I want to try my burgers like that! I make stuffed peppers with cream cheese too, but then wrap them with bacon.
Craig!! 😂😂 why are you so salty? Ron and I couldn’t stop laughing at you opening the door to the truck 😂😂
Heck yeah! After an 8-mile hike and mountain climbing, I endorse Chef Craig's mantra to "Go crazy on errrthing!"😁
Hahah definitely!! 💯
If y’all are still in the area, another great place to check out where you are at the end of your video is “little moab” you are really close to it. Look up chimney rock pass, it’s about ten miles from y’all. It has great access for big rigs and has some sights to see. If you have ever heard of nutty putty caves, it’s out there. It’s sealed off now with a memorial. But cool to see. You could get most of the way there by truck but would want to hike to the top of the hill it’s on. It turns into a rocky ATV road
Next time on the turkey burger cooking show- add some of your favorite salsa, shredded pepper jack cheese, no breadcrumbs, no egg! Chili them then grill them!
You guys lucked out on the weather. I was at Sheep Creek Fri-sun and it was cold and very muddy ! Great location tho
Enjoy following you guys for sure. How's the Brinkley holding up? Be safe guys.
Luckily we are BOTH fast eaters!! LOL I agree I can't believe people would do the 8 mile hike to those hot springs to be so crowded. hahaha
We were pretty surprised at how many people did.
We actually camp up there a couple times a year. Perfect place and close to home. Plus hunt and SxS ride up there as well.
Well up Sheep Creek. A perfect little hack for the hot springs if you have another vehicle. Park one at the bottom. And drive up to the top. Hike is all down hill then.
Love your videos! Craig, I don't like touching meat either, so I wear plastic disposable gloves. Look forward to making the stuffed peppers. Looks so yummy. Blessings
You should try a burger using ground chicken if you can find it. Way, way better then ground turkey.
You should get your own cooking show .lol. love it
Lol!! We might have to do some more Cooking with Craig segments 😁
Yes I would go for it lols
As soon as you said there were other people, and we saw it was dark - I'm like oh brother, what do these people not want you to see? and then there it was 😂 So anyway, I'm on team slow eater and the hubby is on team whoa, didn't you have food a minute ago?
Cooking with Craig had us laughing! 😂
Beautiful ❤
Welcome to Utah! Northern Utah mountains get snow, even spring and summer. They're very beautiful. Try the Mirror Lake highway in the summertime.❤
Uinta is pronounced "You in ta" (short a sound)
Drilled oil and gas wells in the late 70’s out of Evanston,Wy and would drive up into the Uintas during all 4 seasons. WOW what scenery- specially with snowmobiles from early November on. Miss the days when you could trailer your sleds to Yellowstone on the weekends and get into the Park with no reservations or limitations. So much has unfortunately changed.
Poke a hole in the center of your homemade burgers…helps them to cook the center out🔄
nice!
Thank you!
Gosh the burgers looked delicious 🤤. You guys are awesome ❤ we tried to locate your Boondocking spots. Are you mind to share them? We’re about to go to Utah. 🙏🏼🥰
I don't know what way you are planning on taking to get to Alaska. But if you get a chance there are some nice hot springs in British Columbia. We did two weeks going through the Kooteny's just going from one hot spring to another. Also the Liard hot springs on the Alcan are great.
laughed at the Whataburger Ketchup LOL
Hahah it’s so good!!
I didn’t know you got the new transformable table. Do you like it? Did Brinkley give it to you for free? They should, you represent them well!
Oh you two are so Naïvely cute. I knew what your were in for when you mentioned there were so many cars that early in the morning. It's been a long standing given, that people who like to "Frolic with others" Tend to do so just before dawn. Before the general NSFW crowd shows up. Doesn't matter if it's an apartment complex pool or spa, or if it's a hot spring. ANY hot spring... You just arrived too early.
I don't see my previous comment here? You guys are great. Love the content. Places to see near Salt Lake: Donut Falls, Gloria Falls, Bells Canyon, Stewart Falls, Battle Creek Falls, Rocky Mouth, etc. If you want a place to shower, hot tub, etc. up in SLC, drop a line. We could show you our Sportsmobile. Have fun out there!
It was the Best of Shires, it was the Worst.... 🤣
Hi guys! Loved your episodes going to the hot springs via hike in! During one of the set ups of your camper, I noticed your camper has Cooper tires on it, would you mind telling me what the specs are on them. I’m getting ready to replace my tires and would love to go with Coopers, I didn’t know they did RV tires.
Thanks!
Rick in Las Vegas
24:55 -- got that WhataBurger Ketchup going on ... yeah buddy ....
It’s so good!!
The lake spot you ended up in is super close to where we would go target shooting as kids! The lake is green because of the carp that dug up all the plants and made it muddy.
Ahh interesting!! We still hadn’t figured out why it was green, so that is good to know!
Coordination not that good ? I died laughing 😂😂😂❤
😂😂 I am really quite surprised I made it through that one unscathed
If you guys ever get near Tallahassee you could boondock here dump the tanks no charge be fun to meet ya
@@alanmanning3121 oh wow!! Send us an email so I can save your info (wildrvlife@gmail.com) …we usually stop by Tallahassee once a year, that’s where we sold our house and where our storage unit still is! 😂
@wildrvlife Dang that's wild ! 😆 🤣
