The reason you didn't get all of the territory of the French was because they weren't treaty ports. A treaty port is one coastal tile, but the French actually had 2 tiles in every state, making them not be treaty ports. So then when you tried to take the treaty ports it gave you one tile in each state, leaving the French with on tile, which is why they kept some land. Except for in Constantine, because you chose to conquer the state instead of taking a treaty port, so you got all the tiles in that state.
I wondered when you would play Tunis again as is tradition on this channel. Looks pretty good so far, you could conquer Egypt with the Magreb State next time if you want to. I played as the US and practically took over all of America with a power block, even Britain has issues defeating me. Suggestion: Form Democratic China and take over most of Asia. 😄
Thanks for clarifying in the description that you are going to fight Victoria 3 France, Victoria 3 Great Britain and the Victoria 3 Ottoman Empire, I though you were going to time travel to the 19th century and fight all three Empires on your own
god. Speaking of Tunis, I desperately want to figure out how to play as Touggourt. That tiny algerian nations at the far south. It's one of the few states in the game led by a woman iirc and I always love focusing on those. Maybe you can try it Laith? you're good at this one.
Sokoto has even less literacy. I would like to see a sokoto domination playthrough since Sokoto actually has a relatively large population with good resources and can become a great power by 1900 if you play your cards right.
@@OddReal it depends on the war and with the new dlc getting alliances and defensive pacts with france and britain isn't that hard. Get a defensive pact and alliances and you can turn the great powers against each other.

One idea is to start as the US and then release and play as New Africa. You start with a good chunk of the southeastern US, but you ONLY have resource gathering operations and no industry. Try being successful there while switching to the Industry Banned law for Economic System? You can still build some factories, but you are limited in some interesting ways as well.
fun fact, did you obs can automatically edit out repetitive fan noises? you can do this by going into the menu for mic/aux selecting filters which brings up another menu with a + sign. select that + sign and then select Noise suppression. it does a fairly good job of removing repetitive noises, like oh i dunno, computer fans?
This is your best Tunis campaign so far. Looks like you're getting better in this game 😅 Regarding Three Sicilies, I'd like to see someone forming Two Sicilies in EU4, then releasing Sicily as a vassal. That would make three Sicilies, right?
Love your Victoria 3 vids, please make a tech focused run as a small country while puppeting other nations. Military in house and economy out house if u know what I mean
How did you learn this game? I bought CK3 after watching your videos and I have no idea how to play it at all, then I watched a few Victoria 3 videos and bought this too and I understand it even less than CK3 feel like I just wasted £80 on the games that have the most minimal tutorials iv ever witnessed lol absolutely zero clue what or why things are done or not done
War resolutions have been very strange lately. I also keep winning wars and ending up stuck occupying them 100% forever, etc. I have started saving every time just before capitulation. Also, sending peace deals manually also does even weirder things. Edit: That war with the French Republic has happened to me a number of times when trying to do things like fight Peru / Bolivia at the start of the game as well. The war just ... disappears.
bolivia is very interesting, i tried to unify south america via powerbloc mechanicsonce but i failed :( i don't know if you have already played as bolivia
Yes they definitely were! However... Ya gotta think about how long ago that was and how much the demographics, trade, and religious makeup have changed since then.
Could ya play a Bavaria into supergermany into the hre Video with some anarchism sprinkled in I think that would be worth a membership by me Or some prime subs
Play as the Japanese and remain a shogunate isolated state and create a massive puppet empire or play as the Zulu and remain monarchist and never be friends with European powers
Laith playing Tunis is like Koifish playing Haesting but not as mentally insane when he does it.
Hey another Koifish enjoyer
Haha you got it, man. I was gonna say this as well 😆

This seems awfully familiar.
1:17 he doesn't even react to the laith jokes anymore... What has the world come to
Laith you missed a spot there letting Spain keep that treaty port. You should clean that up if you keep going
he also missed a big spot to the south, in the shape of the rest of africa

Laith and Tunis in Victoria 3 is like Koifish and Haestein in CK3, they will always fall back in their addiction, for the greater good

It’s been too long since there was a Tunis game, I was starting to get worried
Kikos formable nation mod on the workshop adds a carthage tag where you need some land from spain and italy
Here's a challenge idea; play as Najd, never become a protecrate, form Saudi Arabia, and become number 1 leading power in oil production.

yay new Tunis video
I would absolutely watch an EU4 Tunis game.

I feel way less bad about being utterly baffled by certain parts of the game in 1.7.
Tunis? I never noticed that on the map. How did that get there?
lmao, recruiters really do be giving out dodge rams to any poor student they can snag
1:18 technically Tunisia could be seen as the successor of carthage, so yea, there was a time when it was indeed a great power

Should play bannerlord, but mod in Tunis.
he did cartage already titled something like "Playing as Hannibal in bannerlord" i forgor the exact title
i think it would be cool for you to try and form caliphate in victoria 3 as tunis. If its not in the game, i bet there's a mod which lets you form it
Play as released Poland!
Released via Russia is MUCH harder than released via Prussia
Can you release it as Prussia? I thought you have to control the capital of Warsaw.

Why did he not attack tougort?
play as france and title the video "fixing france!" and then just make the standard of living as low as possible i think that'd be funny
