I had a new Gtx 960 4gb on my Asrock 970 extreme3, and everything was working fine ,I powered the machine off and left for work and came home ,when I now power on the machine I hear 5beeps and no signal,I've removed the CMOS battery and put it back in but still not working.... please what could be the problem
Z790 AORUS ELITE five beeps error was fixed by installing graphics card AND connecting monitor cable to it. When I try to disconnect monitor cable or remove video card and connect monitor cable directly to the motherboard, then I hear 5 deeps and I have no video signal. Why I can't use onboard graphics, I don't know, but this is how I solved 5 beeps problem.
I know this is an old video but I just built a i3 10100f cpu gigabyte b460m motherboard with a known working sapphire rx 580 and getting 5 short beeps is there any info on the issue? i also jus put the Sapphire RX 580 back into my intel i7 build and the gpu works just fine. i cant try the ram because this build has DDR3 and not DDR4 the CPU was brand new when bought the motherboard was used. but everything turns on and all fans work correctly and everything just getting the 5 short beeps and no display

none of this worked, when I read online everyone says 5 beeps means cpu error.. tried reseating my cpu and no luck.. same problem with 2 brand new builds.. was doing 3 and only 1 worked all same parts for all 3 units
Mine does the same but very rarely , it happens when i play one game Escape Of Tarkov and in Hideout it happend 2 time in past 6 months . First monitore goes black but the pc is working than i need to reset it and than 5 quick beeps , i press the power button to switch it off and at next boot its working fine .
My pc was stopped for 1 month when i leave it was working but today when i comeback it just take 5 bips and dont work i tried everything but nothing is changing or sou ing this problem
Five short beeps means there has been a processor error. A damaged expansion card, the CPU, or the motherboard could be prompting this AMI beep code. Start by reseating the CPU. If that doesn't work, try reseating any expansion cards.

Guys if its a first time build and the problem lies with you gpu then take it out install windows and then put it back in then it should work.

Just sharing, mine 5 times beep with b460m. Fixed by uninstall the cmos battery and install it again. All working well then.

I have a amd r5 2600 and when I'm playing games I get random really loud high pitched beeps

Try to check your PCI slot clean it work around it.

@@jagm9279 how about your hdmi cord? If you have a extra cord of hdmi try to switch it or use a display port cable, don’t stress to much.

How old is your PC and GPU?
@@kenespiritu1110Gpu i dont know , i bught used , any other parst new . So less than 2 years .... gpu can be as old as 4 years or more

Check your cpu, if not dis assembled everything and put them together again.

Mine beeps 7 times at start and if I don't force restart it it won't start and after I restart it it says overclock failed
try going to your bios and put it back to normal, if that works then you did something wrong with o.c. your pc.
