I had T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, was only getting mostly 12-20Mbps. Then tried US Cellular and was getting 4G speeds only 99% of the time. Then the other day I found out VZW 5G Home Internet launched in my area. Got the Plus version and getting 295Mbps to a little over 300Mbps, some times a bit slower but not by much.
If you use a wire connection it does seem to be stable but as soon as you disconnect again the IP address changes because you cannot make it static and then you will have severe packet loss and latency issues the only solution is that anytime you ever want to use a wire connection you would have to reset your Xbox and reset the router and then you can play again for a few hours before the dynamic IP changed and you would be left with extreme packet loss and disconnection issues very annoying I just stay unwired
If you’re paying 150 you don’t even have the unlimited plan available in your area. And that means your signal and speeds will not be good enough anyway.
Heres another perspective, would you rather pay the extra money a month just to have a slight advantage to getting kills in games. Or would you rather pay a low amount and risk losing a match vs your financial budget.
My experience with this T mobile internet is that it is amazing for streaming movies and shows but… it is dog water for gaming. Especially when I’m trying to play Mortal Kombat 1 online. There is so much lag it’s not even funny. It runs decent when I play Fortnite and Overwatch but any competitive games, yeah good luck playing.
We got 100ms ping playing MW2. Ping times to Google.com were between 40 and 80 ms. It very much depends on where the destination is, where you are located, and your T-Mobile signal in that area.
I usually get around $100 ping as well at Good times is 80 at work sometimes it can get up to 200 it's not very good for competitive gamers especially on first person shooters but if you are a casual gamer who's not that competitive and don't need top quality internet this works just fine

I do get decent download and upload speeds with it but the latency packet loss and constant disconnections with the ever-changing IP address makes this unplayable for competitive gamers specially with first person shooters. If you're not a competitive player and you can get a decent signal it's okay but definitely not for serious gamers
This is a fair priced internet, but due to the use of CNAT, its not for gaming, if all you do is play the game, then sure, should be fine, but you wont be hosting anything without paying for 3rd party programs to get around cnat.

Have you done a Speedtest like the one Ookla from your phone or your computer? It might give you some info on the speeds and any latency issues that might be happening.
It's because PS5 uses dynamic IP switch change constantly and since you cannot set a static IP on this particular router it makes it fall off anytime it changes the IP until it relearn the IP and then you'll get a good signal for a few minutes and then the IP changes again and it goes through the whole process again
Very honest review. It won't stay connected for me in bf2042. I never had any drops with cable. If you play fps games it's a no. I was getting 25 to 33 ping which is ok for fps but the frequent server disconnects when I'm in the same room as the gateway on the 2nd floor by the window is unacceptable. 5g overall sucks
It actually works. I thought it wouldn't because mobile carriers tend to double NAT and that affects outside connectivity, but Microsoft manages to get your console connected (probably a proxy is involved). I wouldn't play any FPS, but a quick game of the new TMNT ran fine. We did get a warning from the console that the upload bandwidth was too low. Either way, it worked.
