So happy to see you react to these, I honestly wasn't expecting it cuz I know you said you've had copyright issues with your XG reactions in the past. And now you got a Jay-Z beat in there too, yeah this is definitely getting claimed. I'll at least give you some engagement with a like and a comment so you're getting something out of it though.
On the Harvey line you were struggling a little with before you realized there were subs - it's "Half-Asian, Half-Aussie Alien", riding on the "we're from outer space" XG lore but also taking a shot at haters which was the theme of her track for sure. She gets some xenophobic hate for being mixed race.
All of these tracks were great, IMO. XG never misses on the Tapes series. Maya's my favorite, though. The cadence and flow switches were crazy, she murdered that beat. Cocona's a close second though, loved all the Jay-Z references.

Cocona basically ran through Jay Z's catalogue. The best thing that XG is doing, is between full music drops, is they do these little tapes and the other series is the Vox series. They just dropped a 5th part of the tape 4 series where it is all 4 of them on the same track. I will be expecting a new Vox series soon, and in May they are slated to drop a new song that will have all 7 (the other three are vocalists) members rapping on it. These girls are legit and the homage they pay to old school hip hop and RnB is top level. And to the Alien thing, check out Hesonoo and X-Gene. The premise is basically that they are aliens coming to earth and experiencing life on here. Their mini album they did last year was basically a whole story. So damn good
I'm just sitting here feeling all proud that XG is getting their recognition now. You're a real one for this review!!! Xg went into uber superstardom after their TIKTOK Xypher#2. Each one of those ladies has something to bring to the table. I can't wait for their full US tour!! I'm ready. ALPHAZ is where it's at!!
