Amazing! So beautiful. Appreciate your understanding & love for the bird mother. In my girlhood days, sparrows would fly in through the open window & build nest on top of the grand old huge clock. We kids used to get excited, wait for the mother sparrow to lay eggs & then for them to hatch. We would not switch on the fan as the mother sparrow would keep flying in & out! Atlast when we heard the cries of the fledglings what excitement we kids felt & the adults, too! Thanks for kindling sweet memories.

Yes, I was blessed to watch a dove couple raise their family in a hanging basket of flowers at my front door, two years in a row! I put up a sign too: "Shhh, baby birds sleeping!" The parents protected their babies from anyone who got a little close. Doves are not much at building nests but they are great parents! Congratulations! 2 doves came on my balcony under my lavender bush and built a nest, 2 eggs hatched and the two babies learned to fly but came back to my balcony and they aren’t afraid when I feed them. It’s a wonderful feeling I love those little birds.
Not on my front door, but on my patio. We even got to watch the babies fledge with mom showing them how to fly. Adorable. Of course, we didn't use our patio while all this was going on, but daddy feeding mom while on the nest was so sweet.
This is incredible. I guess that they loved the floral theme, and decided this was the best deco to have around their nest. Its simply wonderful. So nice and sweet.
My mom loves to feed rabbits in the yard. She even backs away and postpones her yard work when she happens upon them feeding. She doesn’t want to interrupt them while they’re eating.
Lol, I'd have to force my mother to not move the nest. 😂 She wouldn't care as much as us. But we wouldn't be able to redirect our mail, etc because we live in a row apartment and you'd have to walk all the way around to the backyard and our mail man wouldn't do that.
That's so adorable. Oh my gosh your husband scaring off crows was funny 😂. Thank you for changing your routine to help the little birds and keep them safe. Lovely story. It's never happened to me but I would love it to happen to me. Have a nice day 😊💗🐦
That is incredible. The minute you said front door, I was like “well time to start using the back door”, but I can’t believe you actually did! That’s awesome! So glad you gave momma bird space to raise her babies. You’re a lovely human.
We've had the same couple of mockingbirds nest at our house for the past few years now. They know we won't bother their babies and they guard our house with great fury. Anyone new pulls into the driveway and they're perched on the mailbox inspecting the newcomers. They'll even run across the roof doing their "intimidation dance" as unfamiliar people walk up the sidewalk. We love them ❤️
Yes mockingbirds are characters. Back when I was a child we had a cat who was allowed outdoors, mockingbirds hated her. They’d dive-bomb her. They’re not afraid to swoop down at a cat.
@@angelwings7930 lol they would do that to my dog too one summer and she would hide under the back porch while she was outside. The other day I watched a mockingbird mocking a hawk. It kept flying back and forth on either side like "im over here, now I'm over, whatcha gonna do about it" it was funny.
Robin's are my favorite birds. I love hearing all the amazing sounds they make as they perch in the trees in our yard. They are so awesome. Great story about these precious angels.🩷🩷🩷

Many years ago I had a bird make her nest on my side porch in the supporting beam. I always prayed over the tiny eggs and the babies would come out fine. One day I opened the door and saw the eggs were gone and a baby chick on the grass carpeting of the porch. He seemed to be huffing and puffing. I thought he had fallen out of the nest! Turns out the mama was showing him off to me! What a blessing from the Lord!
Cute. My daughter had a bird build her nest on her front door wreath also. Only she never KNEW it until she removed the wreath in the fall. The nest had bird droppings from the babies on it, so she knew there HAD been babies there. And all that time they had been USING the front door, and the bird didn't even mind. The nest was tucked into the center of the wreath and sort of protected, hard to see. It was a good spot she picked. And having the people there even kept other birds away for her. We were all amazed. Brave little bird. So cute.

Well, the bird must have thought that place will not be disturbed & then proceeded to build her nest. In all probability these guys must have been out for quiet sometime before she started building her nest & they must have come in at the right time when the nest was in it's initial stages. It really is! Robins made nests right on my bedroom windowsill and seeing the babies grow up is so cool. They made their nest there two years in a row. It was so sad when the last babies flew away and the nest was empty. They were a bit scared when they saw me through the window, but eventually got used to me which was awesome.
@JohnsonHowordWhy are people always so negative? Like did this hurt you in some way? Are people not allowed to find beauty in things? So many fun suckers here. Not even a cool vampire, just someone bitter.
@JohnsonHoword I love this - a bird picked my front porch and treated me as an intruder, so I know what you mean. They might be following ques we don't understand that well.
This has happened to me. We never use the front door because we always go in and out through the garage. The birds had all of the peace and quiet they needed.
Its so cute how we change our way of living to help protect this new mother bird. My mother in law had a hummingbird nest on her string lights in her back yard porch. She lived in dark back there to not disturb the new mommy. Now the hummingbird just hangs out with her back there even tho her babies grew and flew away. It's so precious.
Oh my gosh, we had the same thing happen. It was so much fun to watch. The babies pooped all over the windows, but it was worth it. I wonder why they build the nest on the lights? We didnt turn them on while the nest was there.
Aren't you lucky! What a wonderful surprise, and so nice of you to redirect visitors to another door...and your husband protecting those babies from crows. ❤😅
I had a bird nest in a hanging planter that was in my screened in patio (I kept the door open 24/7 so my dogs could go out whenever they wanted). She was not afraid of me and would come feed her babies while I was hanging out on the patio. One day I saw one of the babies standing on the side of the nest and I knew what time it was so I put the dogs inside but sat back down outside. I got to watch all 4 of her babies fledge the nest with BOTH parents guiding them to the door and coaxing them as they learned to fly. The whole process took about 2 hours and they didn’t come back again after that. It is still one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced.
I found one in my metal hanging plant watering can. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it until it was too late and my neighbors 20 cats scared the mom away and the babies died 😔 I f@%king hate her cats.
Your husband protecting the birds is my favorite part… I mean funniest part… the whole video is my favorite; of course!!! Baby robins’ nest on your front door! Super amazing.
Oh, I know the feeling! It’s awesome. I had a robins nest over my back porch light for years. I could never see into the nest, but I could see the little beaks pop up. I could watch the mother come and go bring me food.❤❤❤❤❤
I had 2 nests at my front door of my old home, and they would always come by, and nestled in a place where I too, call home. It's a very heartwarming experience to witness birds set up a family life right infront of your eyes.
The Mother Robin choosing your front door, to build her nest on the floral wreath, tells me how special you both are. You made her and her four chicks happy! Your husband providing extra protection, was a blessing. Please keep us posted on the chicks' development. Much ❤ and Happiness to all of you and the Robin Family! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💐
We have had this happen to us a few times. Once 1 little baby bird was the last one in the nest, so I talked to it calmly. It finally got the courage to fly the nest. Come to find out the birds mom was watching and when the bird flew she met him. The mother bird came back the next year to build her nest. She knew it was a safe place to have her babies.😊
Same thing happened to us! We talk to the babies when they're leaving, and then the parents just keep coming back. They can tell when people are going to be kind and leave them alone, I think
So awesome! About 10 years ago I had a succulent plant hanging from my covered patio right by the sliding glass door. One year a hummingbird decided to make her nest on the plant. It was an amazing experience. She had 2 little baby hummers. What was even more astonishing is that she came back 3 additional seasons and used the same nest!
This happend in my parents house. A bird layed her eggs in our light, it was at our door's entrance. My mother said that their little chattering is so wholesome! ❤
It's said that a bird in a nest like that is a passed away loved one trying to communicate.....Some yrs ago, after my mother died, my sister's front porch ferns were used as nest sites for mother birds. Often recurring, we just love it!❤
Robins are the sweetest birds I know. They chose your front door because it was so welcoming. It is the best of all omens. Crows are most intelligent of all birds. You would need a good ninja to keep them away. A scarecrow won’t do.
Sweet!! Robins have never built a nest on a wreath on our door. However, we have a covered porch, and they have nested under one corner of the covering over the porch. It was so exciting to watch mom and dad robin build the nest, feed their young ones, and then observe as the babies learn to fly and eventually leave the nest. It truly was a privilege to see these things!!
Robins love mealworms, raisins, sunflower hearts, seeds and fruits. They also love worms and insects. We have seven nests in the eaves of our Orangery, the birds return every year. They re-line the nest and make repairs. They know we won't bother them and can become very tame. It is not uncommon to be enjoying afternoon tea with half a dozen Robins perched on chairs around the table - they love toasted teacakes!
I watched a pair of robins in my backyard one day grabbing worms. I was amazed at how they could peck right down into the grass and pull up worm after worm right out of the dirt like strands of spaghetti.
Your husband protecting the nest was the absolute best. Thank you for loving these birds enough to change your routine.

I’m sure all the crows were scared, cuz your husband had some crazy moves.. but that is special you got to witness those birdies!! 😊
So encouraging!! Hats off to you!!🙏🙏😘😘😘
Every year, we have birds nest at our home, and I am always honored to have them. Nothing more beautiful than new life❤
Just wow! That Robin has a great sense of aesthetics and style!
The husband doing karate to protect the babies is the most awesome part of the story 😭🤣😭🤣NINJA SKILL 100
This has happened to me. We never use the front door because we always go in and out through the garage. The birds had all of the peace and quiet they needed.
God Bless You for protecting these precious babies and Mother ❤.Absolutely Beautiful and Precious and Sweet ❤🙏🏻😇❤️
The best husband 😂❤
FR😂
I can tell if she believes in “luck” from a nest
Its so cute how we change our way of living to help protect this new mother bird. My mother in law had a hummingbird nest on her string lights in her back yard porch. She lived in dark back there to not disturb the new mommy. Now the hummingbird just hangs out with her back there even tho her babies grew and flew away. It's so precious.
Oh my gosh, we had the same thing happen. It was so much fun to watch. The babies pooped all over the windows, but it was worth it. I wonder why they build the nest on the lights? We didnt turn them on while the nest was there.
How caring❣️ YESthe good luck was the bird's finding your loving family for the safety of her family. Blessings ✨ and gratitude 💓
❤❤❤❤
Lol
@@elijahkaehler9369What could possibly be funny about this wholesome comment
I had a bird who started visiting my hanging plants every year, and I was the one who chased the crows away. 😊
I came here to say the same thing!😂
Same!!!! Hilarious af
I can see why you were excited about the Robin's nest and did everything to protect it .
We had swallows nest . So special.💕
Oh, I know the feeling! It’s awesome. I had a robins nest over my back porch light for years. I could never see into the nest, but I could see the little beaks pop up. I could watch the mother come and go bring me food.❤❤❤❤❤
This shows that she trusted you and your family. This is a rare opportunity.
I had 2 nests at my front door of my old home, and they would always come by, and nestled in a place where I too, call home. It's a very heartwarming experience to witness birds set up a family life right infront of your eyes.
😅
I had this happen last year on my Spring wreath too. 4 blue eggs turned into baby birds weeks later and flew off!
Choosen by tiny bird a protected safe place for new siblinngs is a blessing and good luck u r next to God for them
🙌 YES ❣️. SUCH A “BLESSING🫶”❣️
You are SO blessed!😅🙏
We have had this happen to us a few times. Once 1 little baby bird was the last one in the nest, so I talked to it calmly. It finally got the courage to fly the nest. Come to find out the birds mom was watching and when the bird flew she met him. The mother bird came back the next year to build her nest. She knew it was a safe place to have her babies.😊
Same thing happened to us! We talk to the babies when they're leaving, and then the parents just keep coming back. They can tell when people are going to be kind and leave them alone, I think
You guys got lucky and rich? Just wondering. 😊
the little fuzzy yet bald heads is killing me
You are so blessed to have had this experience! That happens to a very minuscule of humanity!
You provided shelter for an animal in need and helped protect her little ones.
You deserve all the luck in the world!
How sweet are you to rearrange your life for something so small. It makes me happy you're on earth❤❤
Your husband fighting off the crows 😂
This happend in my parents house. A bird layed her eggs in our light, it was at our door's entrance.
My mother said that their little chattering is so wholesome! ❤
I'm proud of you, thanks for your kindness to let them stay with you.
He's a real one for putting his life on the line against those crows. Nice moves too. I wouldn't mess with him.
The hungry baby's are so adorable when they try to get food! 😍♥️♥️🥰🤗
I love you and yours for loving the birds. ♥️
Yummy
🤩🤩🥰🥰🥳🥳😇😇😺😸😽💌
This looks like such a happy household and you and your husband are so kind, I love this.
❤😊
