  • This tiny house has an incredible story to tell. At only 10m2 (or 108 ft2) this home on wheels has been constructed almost entirely from salvaged materials. Despite it's micro footprint, it's a fully functional home for a family of three.

Located on an incredible permaculture, this predominantly off-the-grid tiny house homestead uses solar power, solar water heating, rainwater harvesting and has it's own uniquely designed natural grey water treatment system. In the surrounding gardens, lots of organic food is produced with the help of an aquaponics system.

I don't know why, but looking at this house I was reminded of the Weasley's house in Harry Potter. Just all the little details, secret stairs and all the nooks and crannies. There's something a bit magical about this house! :)

I love their daughter's rooms! It always amazes me when I see gardens that are messy and not overly green, but they're real. Just highlights how unnatural our pristine "TruGreen" lawns are.

Maybe my favorite Living Big visit!! This family is truly living the dream! And Bryce is so sweet; at the moment that Murray is describing how he made the cook stove, Bryce gives him a look that says, I am SO proud of you, mate, way to go! What nice people; what a way to start my day!

I don't know how often it gets mentioned, but I can't get over the production quality of your videos! Drone shots, interweaving b-roll shots, POV gopro shots, perfectly timed camera angle changes.. I came for the tiny house content, and I'm definitely staying! Great work Bryce & Company ;)

Love that he actually made his stove, and from scrap metal no less! Oh to be a kid in that space, amazing.

What I liked about the house is how organic it is. How they've married recycled and natural materials with modern materials. The wood stove was genius. The use of the space with the walk ways and how they've considered the child's needs. The whole property is the closest I've seen that reflects what my vision is for my life. Can't thank you enough Bryce for finding these places for us to see :)

My family used to live off grid... actually we have no choice but to live off grid bcoz we came from a very poor family from a 3rd world country... my mom grow crops like sweet potatoes, green beans etc and my dad is a fisherman... simple life in a tiny house made from wooden and nipa materials. We have no electricity, we just use make shift lamp or if lucky sometimes we have candles. We cook with a makeshift wood burner... never had the luxury of having an ac nor heater. We take shower/bath with cold water from our self built well. There are 9 of us and we have to divide 1 fish for everyone. We have nothing but we were all together and happy. We never eat alone we have to eat together for the purpose of fair distribution. I really want to go back to our old ways but i have now mortgage and debts to pay. When i retire though I’ll definitely live my life off grid.

That look of respect in Bryce's eyes when the guy explains how he made his wood stove from scratch. Love it...

I love the tub, using the ceiling and magnets for spices. The house itself isn't my cup of tea, but the concepts and creativity that went into it just blew my mind

I absolutely love the spirit of this tiny house! Built on a real budget and from mostly salvaged materials, this home definitely has more heart than most. How incredible are the gardens too! Let me know what you liked most about this home. Thanks for watching! 😀

So this is what "Howl's Moving Castle" would be like in a tiny-house version!?!....It's mobile for sure!

When someone build a house that was designed to keep his family's life style in constant sharing with each other. That man really created a place he could call home.

The two things I loved most about the house was the child's room and the wonderfully harmonious way the house plays a role in the garden system.

I like that she said “thrift can lead to thriving” because people assume you have to invest a ton of money into making something successful when really dedication, time and resourcefulness can work just as well, even better. In the end you are able to see what you are capable of and be proud of what you have accomplished with limited funds.

Holy crap it was surprising how much time was spent purely inside the house. Incredible how much you can get out of so little space. The interconnectedness is unreal. This may be me in the future hahaha
