in italy we also make ragu' simply without adding the tomato passata, its called white ragu so it could be inspired by that dish also like you said this one looks more like an Alfredo carbonara lol

Crema pesada debe ser el tipo de crema que tiene un alto porcentaje de tenor graso (o sea con más consistencia dura que líquida!) Con la sal japonesa no sé si referirá a una llamada Moshio, un tipo de sal marina que se colecta usando alga seca, lo que le agrega un poco de sabor a la sal! Mejor tarde que nunca (?) capaz ya encontraste todo JAJAJAJA

The original dish does look like a regular bolognese. Lisa's signature dish is a variation on the red flaming red bolognese dish.

The reason why it's "mysterious bolognese" is because this sauce is closer to a variation of a carbonara, not the original carbonara though.
