There is a Jane Austen FESTIVAL in Bath, England every year !!! We can live out our _Pride and Prejudice_ dreams without racism OR sexism. That’s one for the bucket list! ❤️❤️
“Lizzy needs to teach me how to flirt ‘cause I’m a ‘Is that so?’ type of girl,” made me laugh out loud. SO RELATABLE! And I died when you stitched in “You’re gonna look at me and tell me that I’m WRONG?” Thank you so much for reacting to this movie! Subscribed for what’s next!
The one thing in common to all those who have seen Pride and Prejudice, you watch it over and over again but you NEVER get tired of it! It makes you smile and happy the way it made you smile and happy the first time you watch it
Giiirrrrrlll! I loved this reaction. You did a great job. And the fact that you were reciting line for line, I was like oh she KNOWS KNOWS this movie. Had a great time watching, you definitely gained me as a follower!!
I have 2 comfort films. They are: Pride & Prejudice (2005) and Ever After: A Cinderella Story (1998). When I tell you I watch those movies at least 2 times in a week, I really do. I get distracted with music when at work, so I play the movie as my background noise and my day goes faster cuz once it ends I replay it. The sound track/score is just beautiful Ps. Check out North&South mini series. It's just 4 episodes. You might like it.
"Kitty and Lydia are kinda like a package deal. They are kinda like the City Girls." Amazing, I subscribed the moment I saw the other movies you have reacted to. Your taste is immaculate you left me with no choice but to support.
I love that you’re watching this “for the billionth time” instead of all the hoards of FOR THE FIRST TIME reviewers (who I love, but what a fun change!) 🥰😂🥰 It’s like sitting down to watch a favorite with your bff and you both sit there soaking it in and laughing at the parts that bug us like Mrs. Bennett being so uncouth. 😂😂
I‘ve just come across this video and watching it felt like watching my favourite movie with a friend. You really deserve way more views. All the best from Germany ✌🏼🙂
2:41 This reminds me of that clip from "Timeless" where Rufus says he can't possibly become a time-traveler because there's no time in American history that will be safe for a Black man. First time I've ever seen a time-travel show consider that.
You started off with some fighting words (-95 fan ;) ) but I love your energy, and I love this version too. Great reaction/commentary. The Mr. Collins proposal, lol, you had me in stitches.
Jane Austen was truly before her time with the novels she wrote. I love this adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Kierra Knightly is one of my favorite actresses. Girl, you should check out "Something New" great rom con. Tfs
Best reaction ever! You Made me laugh so high 🤣 I can't understand why this vídeo hasn' t got five trillon likes. Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
oh gods this video is just----- AMAZINGGGGG this movie is also my comfort movie , and seeing u watching this and your reactions? the same as mine akjsnkajsnkajsnda also, u are soo pretty! love the makeup!
I'm sorry but I love both 1995 and 2005 version. If I have only 2 hrs, I watch the 2005 version. If I have more time, I watch the 1995 version. Can you tell I've watched them more than once? Don't judge me. lol
I am definitely not judging you lol I know this movie line by line lol so you’re not alone! I may have to give the 1995 version another chance but I most definitely fell asleep the first time 😭
@@themisadventuresofnaomij - the 1995 version is definitely better overall…much more accurate to the book…but much longer. In regards to the various movie versions, this is definitely the best.
I just love the movie 😍it's my favorite of all times. I watched it like 30 times and I have the book too. And whenever I watch it I feel like I was born in the wrong era lol, why can't we just go back in time and live that simple, coutryside fairytale life ughh 😩😢
Apparently, some English families had this "no female heir" written in stone and it couldn't be changed, but not a!!. Mr. Collins is the closest male heir to the Bennett and he's a 3rd or 4th cousin. They didn't even know he existed before they searched for an eligible heir. Two of my absolute favorite romantic movies are Lady Hawk and the 1999 version of The Thomas' Crown Affair.
If you want to live in a house full of sisters then move into a convent. No, we don't like that! At all! You can't handle the truth! And that is actually the truth! (Watch Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie) Yeah, that is how men be. Now, watch Sense and Sensibility (after Tootsie. Don't make me spoil why you need to watch it!)
@@themisadventuresofnaomij Ahhh! Then you've seen what happens when a guy tells a girl the truth about what he wants. Although, I did have some personal experience where I tried to get an older woman to go out with me and she declined until I told her what I really wanted to do; she came right over.
@@themisadventuresofnaomij I did like your commentary and reaction. I just watched someone else's and she cut out too much; I had to give her a thumbs down. I understand the copyright problems; doesn't make the reaction better though. You did good! The closest thing to horror I recommend is The Ghost and Mr. Chicken with Don Knotts.
I think there’s truth to the fact that it _was_ Darcy’s responsibility to fix the Lydia-Wickham situation. Because, by both today’s standards and the standards of the time, Wickham is a PREDATOR. He targets naive *15* *year old girls* (which even back in the day was scuzzy) uses and abuses them. Darcy allowed a _known predator_ to operate in this community UNCHECKED because he was *embarrassed* ??? Talk about Pride! He was willing to allow other vulnerable people, women, to get hurt rather than get awkward looks in a town he doesn’t even like!! That’s messed up. He did right in the end but he only fixed it because Elizabeth was affected, not because it was the right thing to do. SMDH
Love your reaction for one of my favorite movies. Have you seen Belle (2013) with Gugu Mbatha-Raw? It's a great interpretation of early 19th century English society.
PLEASE give the 1995 version another chance, if you truly love the story. It'd even be a good idea to react to it! Since there're few youtube channel who react to that version and there's a loyal fanbase. I'm sure you'll understand the charm once you really get into it:)
I *listened* to it on UA-cam and ran through it in a day. Some people couldn’t get through the audio either but specifically the reading by Karen savage is SO good - she does it so well. Spotify has it on auto book too but I’m not sure if it’s her reading. Highly recommend
I've watched the movie so many times. Mr Darcy is socially very awkward. I read the book as a young girl, and I wondered 🤔 then and now does Mr Darcy have a first name???? Lol. The BBC version in 1995 remains true to the book.
Kitty and Lydia are like the dumber versions of the City Girls. Lydia didn't even TRY to secure the bag the way JT would've. JT wouldve went after Darcy tbh hahaha
