Great reaction guys. Thanks so much. You must check out his My Heart Will Go On. Believe me when I say that he turns this sad ballad into a powerful metal anthem. You will love it. Also, his other Witcher songs such as Priscilla's Song (the metal cover, there is an acoustic cover also), Song of the White Wolf and my favorite, Burn Butcher Burn. There are so many more great songs on his channel but I leave those recommendation until the next time, which I hope is soon.
Dan is soo versatile. He was born in October of '89 and says, "Ah the 80's, the best three months of my life"😂😂 In saying that, I think he recaptures the whole vibe and nostalgia of that decade in such a refreshing way and dare I say it... Better than! Thankyou for reacting so positively and enthusiastically to Dan's music. Oh yes, his 80's playlist is great😃

You might want to glue those headphones to your head on "Burn Butcher Burn." "My Heart Will Go On" is right up there. And "Bring Me To Life" (Evanescence) does not disappoint. #DanVasc

Enjoyed your reaction. You can't go wrong with anything Dan does but, yes, you'll probably love his version of My Heart Will Go On. And his other Witcher covers: Two versions of Priscilla's Song - one metal and one acoustic; Burn Butcher Burn; The Song of the White Wolf. But as I said, you can't go wrong with anything he does. He could sing the phone book and it would still be phenomenal.

Dan released this cover not long after his father passed away. He performed this beautifully, and the emotion is quite prevalent. Dan also performed "An American Trilogy", dedicated to his father only 5 days after he passed away. It is heartbreaking as you see him get thru this song. I consider myself to be a fairly tough guy, but my eyes welled up during that performance, knowing that his father had just passed.

I wasn't familiar with The Witcher books, games, nor the Netflix series when I heard Dan's version of this song, so I had to pull up originals & also clips for vocal & character references to fully appreciate what Dan did with his covers of these songs. They're amazing just on their own merit, but he definitely took these bard songs to a whole other level. What cracked me up with this particular song was seeing an interview with Joey Batey, who played Jaskier & wrote/sang this song, and hearing him say he actually hated this song. I thought, "Well, you ought to hear what Dan's done to it then & maybe you'd love it like we do." 😂 If I recall correctly, Dan's Witcher covers have more views than the originals... that speaks volumes in itself. Check out his cover of "Burn Butcher Burn" & hold onto your hats. Lol.
