I don’t know about the rest of you, but when Rhys is lifting material out of the valley, I find myself sitting up taller and raising my eyebrows. I didn’t notice that until today. 😄 Have a great weekend everyone!
i do ALL the things mentioned here: hold my breath, move my phone, attempt to get a 'better' view by trying to peer past the plugs, around the sides. HAHA sometimes (like with the third patient) i am actually exhausted by the end. i need to figure out how to remind myself to breathe! it's ridiculous. meanwhile feel better rhys, hope you are having a relaxing weekend
Rest your voice! You really didn’t sound like you normally do. Get better before you worry about getting 3 videos out for next week. Right, having thoroughly told you off, those were brilliant videos especially the last one. Thanks for another Friday of fascinating entertainment.
That last video (they all are really) was so incredibly satisfying! Thank you! Now…. Your health is more important than getting us more videos. Take a week off editing, rest your voice, get well, and come back reinvigorated. We will all be here and waiting for a healthy and rested Rhys! That said, and I think I can speak for the majority (if not all) of us…. Your videos give us that break and smile we need! You and Mrs. B (and all staff) are fantastic! We love, y’all!
What a relief for all 3 patients especially the last gentleman. I’ve looked forward to your video all week and it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you Rhys ♥️👍
You narrate earwax removal like you’re narrating the olympics, and it’s one of the best parts 😂the excitement is infectious! You would be a great sports caster!
Just goes to show, if it wasn't for you uploading these vids that last patient would never have found you and would still be suffering! That alone makes it all worth it. I can't tell you how many people I've advised to see a private audiologist since I started watching your vids years ago Rhys. This channel is making one hell of a difference to people's quality of life by existing!
Rhys, I love how your commentary “suggests” you don’t know what’s going to happen even though you probably did the procedure and put the video together 😉😆
Your "disembodied voice," made me laugh, because it reminded me of a viewer once saying that She could see Your floating disembodied head! That cracked me up, lol.
Rhys, that video was So Exciting! The 1st Client, both recess contents were like icebergs, hidden in the depths! So Happy for the last Client, that He got relief, and His eardrums could see daylight, at long last, You had Your Super Hero Costume on for that! All Great Extractions, Thank You! I Hope You feel Better Soon, Take Care.
Oh my goodness!! The last one needs to go into the ear wax museum! I was holding onto the edge of my chair watching this one! Hope you feel better soon.
Rhys, you've spoiled me for all other methods of earwax removal! Everyone in my area uses the "squirt water and drain" method. You're amazing - keep up your great work! Love from Maryland, US Take care of yourself. I hope you're feeling better very soon.
Love the way you tell yourself off when you get excited, makes me laugh so much. You sound like you're struggling with your voice, take it easy, we can't do without your lovely accent! Shame we didn't get to see your happy face but great video as always.
That last plug was amazing. Love your videos. How frequently do you recommend people get their ears checked (assuming no noticeable discomfort or hearing loss)?
Omgoodness!! That was incredible, the wax in that older gentleman's ears at the end!! I was quite literally on the edge of my seat cheering Rhys on! Rhys said that he wasn't sure he was gonna get it out and I'm sitting there talking to him, like, "Oh sush Rhys, you're gonna get it out. Don't think badly of it cause you're awesome and we all know you're gonna do it! Have faith in yourself! Lol!" I'm surprised people didn't look at me like I was crazy and wonder if I should have been locked in the hospital cause I was talking to myself (as far as they knew, lol)! That was awesome, I have become such an earwax nerd and I am a HUGE fan. I let it play on my TV through the day cause I just like to hear (no pun intended, lol) Rhys just ramble on, lol. I love learning about it all and Taylor is a doll, I hope he will be doing more videos! And Mrs. B. is just stunning and very funny. You guys are precious and play off each other so well and just make me laugh!! Ok Shutting up now! Lol (Rhys isn't the only one that can keep talking, lol!) Anyway Love you all and Bright Blessings! Oh and please never apologize for needing to make adjustments to the way the show is run. You have to take care of you and your business and patients first, then worry about us silly people! Lol!
Anterior and inferior recesses are some of my favorite! It's always so crazy to see how much is hidden away under there! And I don't want people to have ear infections but infected dead skin is so satisfying as well. Thanks for such a great vid!
Just popping in to say I giggled when you said, "holding on for grim death." Here in America, we say, "holding on for dear life." I love hearing British sayings, because they remind me of my great grandmother who moved from England to the US in the 1940s. So many fond memories of her. Hope you get to feeling better soon! I'm stuck home with pneumonia so I feel your pain. Cheers from Texas! 🥰
Oh dear! I hope you're better... Pneumonia ain't no joke! Is quite tiring just to lay in bed and let your body try to fight the infection with the meds. I really hope you're doing better by now and take a ton of care.
Hoo-Ray for Fri-Yay!! Lol man I know I'm not the only one looking at my screen "peeking" around the corner with my head tilted! 😅 haha whew 50yrs you know he was skipping out of Rhys' office! I sure would be have a wonderful weekend 😊
I didn’t realize this was Rhys at first. Please take care of yourself. I’ve learned so much from your videos and would miss them and you. You are super!!!
How was the last patient's hearing afterwards? Hopefully better, even with the perforation. Speaking of which, is that perforation likely to heal or its own now?
Hi Stephen, Hope You're Well. It's a good job, that that poor chap had So Much wax, with that perforation, it protected it, a Blessing in disguise! I should think that Rhys has a Client for life now, He knows He can Trust Rhys to get it All Out. Well Done, that Man!
You should be proud of yourself for being such an inspiration to audiologists all over the world. I'm not kidding. This isn't the first time your words have become the rule of the day. Everybody, and I mean everybody, are using close-up endoscopic filming. Remember? You made a comment about it at the beginning of your video last week. That's all I saw this week! Kudos to you!
Rhys, you mate are amazing!!! I keep looking on Monday and Wednesday's for new content and keep forgetting lol, awesome content and didnt expect the first vid to be hiding so much!!! Keep up the good work!!!! X
Sorry to hear you're not very well this week. Great video as always, the three patients must have been very relieved . The last one 😱😳 Great work. pls don't apoligise.Take extra care ❤ Love to Mrs. B and Taylor. Get some resr ❤😘😘🏴
What a great compilation of interesting ear canals. 50 years of packed in wax is unbelievable. I think I forgot to breath through that as I got so excited seeing it shift. Fantastic Rhys and do take care of that voice. See you soon. Xx
That last piece was well worth the wait!!! Great relief to the patient too I am sure!!! You’re so good at this, Mr B!! Thank you for the video again! Give Mrs B hugs too! 👍🏻💗💗
I love these videos. I used to be the sort of person who had to clean my ears, but watching these videos gives me a vicarious sense of satisfaction, especially deep, impacted patients like the first.
Even before you mentioned you had a cold, I could tell that something like that was going on. I hope you feel better soon! And what an incredible video! I found myself holding my breath why you were trying to get the various pieces of wax out.
You are the magical wiggle master of earwax , job very well done 👍 Do take a good rest and have a fresh start next week , Stay safe and see you soon Mr Barber give my regards to your Mrs and family, 😘 🇧🇪
Wow. That last one was amazing!!! I’m sure he felt better and could hear things he hasn’t heard in years. Although I do like the anterior recess videos too. Unbelievable what comes out of those ears too. Hope you feel better soon. Take care.
You're back!!!!! Oh thank you, thank you, thank you - Mr. & Mrs. B are well!!!! I was so worried!! And now so so happy and relieved!!!! 😃😃😃🤗🤗🤗💕💕💕💖💖💖👏👏👏
I always like when Rhys says how much of a trooper the patient was. Then I think of myself. I practically climb out of the chair when the doctor just touches the inside of my ears. I guess my ears are just super sensitive 😂
Know you've said that the wax normally doesn't have an odour but that 50 year was Must have been rank 🤥, probably pretty lucky you have a cold and couldn't smell it 😂. Thanks for managing to take the time to fit in our weekly wax fix video Rhys, with you all being so over the head with work it's really appreciated 😘
Amy Mac, lol! I'm having Such a Good Time, what with Rhys, who Always Cracks me Up, and the comments, i Must have lost 3" off of my stomach! The Wax Wiggler, has Whittled me waist, good and proper!
I don’t know about the rest of you, but when Rhys is lifting material out of the valley, I find myself sitting up taller and raising my eyebrows. I didn’t notice that until today. 😄 Have a great weekend everyone!
And tilting the phone to try to look down into it... ;-)
Lol James!
I know! Sometimes I move my phone like I'm going to see better 😂
I tend to hold my breath!!
i do ALL the things mentioned here: hold my breath, move my phone, attempt to get a 'better' view by trying to peer past the plugs, around the sides. HAHA sometimes (like with the third patient) i am actually exhausted by the end. i need to figure out how to remind myself to breathe! it's ridiculous.
meanwhile feel better rhys, hope you are having a relaxing weekend
The last patient must have been shocked at how loud the world is! 50 years of wax?! Amazing job as always! 👍🏽
I couldn't imagine not cleaning your ears for 50 years
Even with the bad eardrum he could probably hear a flea fart.
Wow
I hope he doesn't wait another 50 years lol.
😂
That ‘little valley’ was more like an abyss!
The Welsh Wiggler was wiggling wonderfully well this week! What a winner!!
😂
I'm here for the alliteration!!!! 😂😂
Yes indeed, crazy 😧
That last one had me tensing up in my seat and leaning left and right to "help you" HAHAHA!! Feel better Rhys :)
Love the excitement in your voice! You truly enjoy your job and it shows in how you treat/speak about your clients.
Rest your voice! You really didn’t sound like you normally do. Get better before you worry about getting 3 videos out for next week. Right, having thoroughly told you off, those were brilliant videos especially the last one. Thanks for another Friday of fascinating entertainment.
"Take care of yourselves and take care of each other..."
This DOES include you as well Rhys! Please rest up your voice!
Q: Who’s an audiologist’s least favourite rapper?
A: Q-Tip
Good one!
ROFL 🤣 🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
RIP to the Phifer. Tribe will always be legendary.
Top tier joke though
Hahahhaaha this is the kind of humor I live for.
"Holding on for grim death" you crack me up Rhys 😂

Couldn't agree more with you! You speak for us!
What a relief for all 3 patients especially the last gentleman. I’ve looked forward to your video all week and it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you Rhys ♥️👍

I do love to see what comes out of the anterior recess - it's usually much more than expected 🤓🏴🕊

Shout out to patient #1's granddaughter Elise Lee! Your Grandpa did an excellent job holding still for the procedure!
thank you!!
This video was great. Take care of yourself and get the videos out when you can. Trust, we'll be here to watch them when they drop.

Personally I think it’s his enthusiasm and his gesturing. Watch just Rhys sometime instead of the ear wax! He gets so animated and excited! 😂🤣
Anterior and inferior recesses are some of my favorite! It's always so crazy to see how much is hidden away under there! And I don't want people to have ear infections but infected dead skin is so satisfying as well. Thanks for such a great vid!
They were all amazing and the last one was absolutely incredible. Hope you feel better soon Rhys and relax this weekend.
Just popping in to say I giggled when you said, "holding on for grim death." Here in America, we say, "holding on for dear life." I love hearing British sayings, because they remind me of my great grandmother who moved from England to the US in the 1940s. So many fond memories of her.

I must have rewound that last one at least 20 times!! Absolutely epic and fantastic job! I’m so happy for the man to finally be relieved 😅
The once per week videos are good. I like the longer videos 👍
Usually I go for the 10 min ones, but Loving the compilations!
How was the last patient's hearing afterwards? Hopefully better, even with the perforation.

I get a huge kick out of this when Rhys gets excited! Thank you for the smile Rhys!
Ear wax makes this man so happy! He's like the Steve Irwin of wax removal. He loves each blob like his own.
Even before you mentioned you had a cold, I could tell that something like that was going on. I hope you feel better soon! And what an incredible video! I found myself holding my breath why you were trying to get the various pieces of wax out.

Lol it probably was not actually 50 years old.
Amy Mac, lol! I'm having Such a Good Time, what with Rhys, who Always Cracks me Up, and the comments, i Must have lost 3" off of my stomach! The Wax Wiggler, has Whittled me waist, good and proper!
Suberb!! Worth the wait!! That was fantastic, I loved it!! xx
Curious…wax usually slides out of the canal by itself.
What happens that the wax solidifies and sticks inside the ear?
Great video. Take care of yourself.
I enjoyed this format. Mix them up! 👍👍
All I can say is WOW! Fantastic video today. Very, very good job on the last ear. That was super!!!
God bless you rys for the wonderful work you do. That gent was blessed to find you. I can't imagine the relief he felt.
That was exciting. It certainly is more enjoyable with your commentary
thanks dear, take care of yourself for us. We want you to be well and able to keep giving us your enthusiasm and compassion.
