Wuthering Waves Epic Games, Launcher running but not Opening fix.

QNA:
1. EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER DOESNT WORK, USE THE OFFICIAL LAUNCHER, For anyone with Epic Games not opening WuWa launcher ua-cam.com/video/Ab4L3e6KC3c/v-deo.html (credit @sora_hime)
2. I HAVE UPLOADED THE EXE FILE FOR THE LAUNCHER, discord.com/channels/963760374543450182/1242424846860816404/1242429563347275836
3. for anyone having the bug where the launcher is too large for your screen:
make sure the app launcher is closed btw
pin wuthering waves to taskbar
right click icon -> properties
click the compatibility tab
click change high DPI settings
on the new window that pops up, click override high DPI scaling behaviour, scaling by application
if application does not work, try system. (system works for me) (Credit @zachh)
4. EVEN IF IT IS AT 99.9% IT IS STILL DOWNLOADING, PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THE LAUNCHER OR TURN OFF YOUR PC
5. THE GAME RECOMMENDS RANDOM SERVERS SOMETIMES, IT IS A BUG, JUST CHOOSE YOUR SERVER
6. IF THE LAUNCHER DOES NOT WORK, TRY REINSTALLING AND RERUNNING THE EXE FILE
7.a fix for the .exe not working/installer closing.
open installer
open task manager
set the installer.exe affinity to one of your cores and high cpu priority (credit @nitz)
8. FOR THE ERROR MESSAGE THAT IT CANNOT RUN MULTIPLE INSTANCES, GO TO TASK MANAGER, CLOSE WUTHERING WAVES AND OPEN THE GAME AGAIN
9. FATAL ERROR ISSUES ARE KNOWN AND NO FIX YET
10. GAME NOT DOWNLOADING IS ALSO A KNOWN ISSUE WITH NO FIX YET
11. FOR THOSE WHOS GAME IS CRASHING ON PC
press Windows key + R
type services.msc
find AntiCheatExpert Service
right click and go to properties
select the startup type from Disabled to Manual
apply and ok
the issue here is ACE component error 1-0-0 (credit @mashapro)
12. DOWNLOAD THE GAME FROM EITHER EDGE OR CHROME, NOT REGIONAL LOCALIZED BROWSERS (YANDEX, ETC)
Life saver. I thought it not opening was because it wasn't out yet. Your my friend have won a free dinner, tell me what you want to eat and you'll get it. (Not really but it's fun to know what food people enjoy)

Was already wondering why it didn´t work out via Epic Store. Nice guide and straight to the point!
Btw... It´s quite funny that the minimum free ram required with 16gb is almost as high as the free space of 18gb required to install the game. I´m wondering how well the game will run with mere 8gb, Intel Core I5 and Nvidia 1650... on a laptop D :

my launcher is actually to big to see the rest of wallpaper, including download thing. What i do?

When it’s done downloading, does it show play on the screen or we have to go to epic games to launch it again.
You can start the game from the Wuthering Wave Launcher, you don't need to run from Epic Games again. Just pin Wuthering Waves launcher.
If you want even faster access, when the game is running, you can pin the Game and can open it next time without opening the Wuthering Waves launcher.

Wait so I literally how to download Epic Games launcher as well? FUCK!! I only downloaded WuWa only
KRLauncherEpic does not even show up for me
You have to click Launch in epic games first, if you did and still can't find.
Method 1: Go to C:\Program Files\Epic Games\
after, find the Wuthering Waves folder, with this skip the task manager part, and follow rest of the video.
Method 2: Try this instead, Go to the Epic Games Game library, and click Three Dot for Wuthering Waves, Click Manage,
you will see it says Uninstall, on the left of the uninstall button, there will be a file icon, click that and it should bring you to the installation location, find the 'launcher.exe' and pin it to taskbar.

Already problems
haha, this is the first day so there will be a lot of bugs and issues, hopefully developers will fix them as soon as they can

Go to documents where u installed wuthering waves it should be wutheringwavesj3Fh and find the one tht says launcher and click tht one then move it to easy access

That is exactly the type of ridiculous BS you do not have to deal with in Hoyo-Games. That is one massive part people constantly forget..for the size of their games..Genshin and HSR both always borderline ran flawlessly. The amount of issues and bugs that really were intrusive over the years can be counted with 2 fingers and Kuro + Epic cant even put the right Launcher...man. If that is a sign of the quality to come then we might as well uninstall it right away.

@@Theoo413 sure, but that is surely a sign to come. Maybe people will wake up and realize that a game isnt just about what it could potentially be and that there is some other important stuff, too! Like Quality Assurance and stuff. If something like that happens already..I can easily predict the game having 100x more bugs than Genshin did on release.
