I think it's gonna be difficult because this kind of game is very uncompetitive, whoever has money has a rank 1, and I believe many players will not like it especially from f2p and players who are just buying Welkin
In Genshin, Albedo’s only main weapon is locked behind an event. If you missed the event, you’ll never get it. Same for weapons like festering desire and dodoco tales, 2 incredible weapons forever locked. I don’t know if WuWa will do this. I really hope that they don’t. But this was really bad on Hoyoverse’ part.
one thing that Kuro is notorious for is their generosity. Signatures are always never gonna be lock behind an event. They will probably start giving us free weapons by the first anniversary.
actually that makes things more valuable since they are limited and not easily accesible like even money can't buy those things and we all value stuff money can't buy
Honestly if Genshin by some miracle manage to fixing the endgame, fixing the gacha(character & weapon), fixing the traversal mechanic or even giving free 5 star, I won't even think to touch the game ever again, if all it took for them to do it is from competition then no, even when the anime is finally out I still won't play it, 4 years is too long and I even stop playing at 2.6
THEY LITTLERALLY HAD A DEPTH OF MOTHFKIN ILLUSIVE REALM ON THEIR OWN It's the freaking childe dungeon event bruh They just chose to delete it and give us this so called endgame mode. Engame for who exactly??? A 5 years old with their dad's credit card or something???
Apparently it was hated. The vast majority of Genshin players are casuals who never touch Spiral Abyss. Why would they not cater to the vast majority of casuals? You are not the target audience for Genshin. It is like complaining that Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures! lacks end game combat. Although the difference is that Genshin gave a false initial impression.
@@AzureDrag0n1Youre right. As much as i wanted an actual endgame with hard content it was my fault for expecting that from a game swarmed with casual players that doesnt even build their characters... Thats why i dropped it there is no point for playing a game just to be disappointed with every decision they make
@@AzureDrag0n1 it honestly makes you think like why are all the character trailers and demos in genshin emphasize character combat and animations whether it's 4-star or 5-star, it's like they do know they're making this false initial impression that genshin's main selling point is the combat 😂when it's just the minigames and exploration that's never worth the primogem reward considering unskippable dialog, and the stupid TCG addon
I literally feel like "Please be hurry, i want to complete this mode as fast as possible" when playing Imaginarium Theatre. But when i play Hologram or Illusive Realm, the pressure to be avoid all the enemies attack is serious. When i finish the Illusive Realme last difficulty or Hologram VI (especially the Mephis one), i feel so satisfied.
I remember Jello Impact making a video on similar topic "What is the endgame of Genshin Impact?". He shortly reviewed the activities beyond the main story and side quests: exploration, gear farming, Spiral Abyss, Teapot, TCG cardgame, etc. His conclusion was basically just this - waifu gaming is the true and only endgame of Genshin Impact. Everything that is implemented in the game has the sole purpose to give incentive to pull more and more characters to collect.
I came to that conclusion aswell. Its why I stopped going for constellations and whaling to barely playing the game at all. It just... Lacks endgame. The story updates of Gensbin are like 2h content... Exploration is so slow compared to Wuwa. Combat feels awful aswell. Camera on mobile is wonky as frick... I usually played on PC but recently swapped to mobile and god damn is Genshbin awful on mobile, borderline unplayable with their camera movement and skill targeting...
Honestly most of these things can be explain by saying Genshin at its core is outdated. I dont even think if they did what Kuro is doing it would feel nearly as good. Genshin combat just cant do what WuWa does. A boss rush would suck since most of the bosses arent actually that good and just damage sponges. The battle fields are flat circles cuz any obstacles will make the characters freak out. The movement, fight pacing, quallity of life (like switching characters instantly and in the air) is just leauges behind that fights and gameplay that isnt casually feel like garbage.
I agree, genshin combat can go no further than that childe event in 2.2 sure they can put all the bells and whistles to make stuff harder or give more variety, but is it actually worth the effort for the marginal returns? Genshins true strenght is exploration and worldbuilding things that cant be easily made into endgame activities, unless they invest a ton of resources to make "Exploration Endgame"
Yeah its in timer and confined space but it is much harder to dodge and you need to actually learn the timing when it comes to Parry. If its easy for wild player they can use level 1 character (danjin) to add difficulty and kill the boss.
@@kyori75 the example here is Hologram for difficulty and Illusive realm for freedom. We dont talk about ToA cuz its just a normal endgame challenge with nothing too special.
OMGOSHHH YASSS!! They should DEFINITELY make characters switching fast like Wuwa, cause I'm so freaking annoyed how slow it is and how much time it wastes, ESPECIALLY in abyss. Mobile players will know the struggles of how slow characters switching is and also players who have slow wifi or just high ping, they will know how painfully slow the character switching in genshin is.
I lost faith in genshin when they fcuked up Dehya, I had been saving for her for more than 4-5 months and they did her so dirty and didn't even care about it afterwards.
I never got over this too😢 I could imagine the developers reviewing her kit and said this is it, we have created the ultimate trash let's release it to piss people off
realistically speaking, i think the only fault wuthering waves did is that they introduced gold echoes early. there's no midgame in wuthering waves. i distinctly remember sticking to purple artifacts in genshin (just caring about atk main stat, ignoring substats) for like a month or two before reaching the point of farming gold artifacts.
It's because they want you to challenge the endgame as fast as possible because it's fun and challenging. With so much endgame content to actually play like Hologram, the tower, and its own Divergent Universe to challenge
@@exgenesis4457which is good on a quick glance but falls apart when you realize you just burn out your playerbase way faster that way.. Also, this is my fault with how I worded it, but I agree that it is outdated/stagnating but the devs are doing something wrong since that is the case.
It's like GI devs never looked at what good things Hi3rd had: Skip button Better endgame Better rougelike More rewards. Oh well what a waste of potential
I wont say the end game is better as its a spending check. Abyss in Hi3rd is this cycle you gonna need a ice team, next cycle you gonna need a thunder team etc and there is 2 cycle per week. Its a PVE boss race against other players at the end to maintain or push up your position in a bracket. The higher brackets(red lotus/myriad) just caters more to big spenders as their better build units are the only one that can actually do enough damage to clear. Then again i guess this does cater to whale in a sense that they have a place for their beefed up units.
@@darksinz56 if you consistently play the game you should be able to clear Red Lotus though. And if you can't, you can just derank into the lower tier, where you can bruteforce stuff even when the stage effect doesn't align with your team. I usually stay there, in Abyss 3, much faster to clear. Myriad is mostly for whales, but as a regular player this tier is pretty much of no concern to you. Overall I found HI3 abyss to be waaaaay better than Genshins, since you can change teams/weapons anytime, you don't need to re-clear previous floors to update the score on upper ones, and its much faster.
@@vendetta_vvv Mostly because its too old, and the main part of the story that people started the game for is over. Not everyone likes the new part and the new characters. Funny thing is that simulated universe in Star Rail and Hollow Zero in Zenless is so much more fun than Imaginarium Theater. Genshin is really becoming the middle child.
I think holograms will be fine, have you seen the Tectone stream where Kuro provided an account with fully leveled characters and using the standard 5star weapons? I really don’t understand why hoyo hasn’t even tried to alter at least one of the fundamental mechanics of the game. It doesn’t matter what endgame they add because after 4 years, players have seen every possible way to twist the fundamentals. The only way to revitalize the gameplay experience is to alter the gameplay in a meaningful way. Adding new reactions between elements, changing how already existing ones function, doing what wuwa does with giving characters unique skills, creating synergies between units that changes the gameplay for both of them. Now I have zero experience in game design so for all I know, these are all impractical and terrible ideas, but the fact that hoyo hasn’t even tried to test a crazy idea like this even once is what gets me. Sure it’s a risk to invest resources into an such a huge undertaking that could flop on release, but that’s why they can communicate with the community to see how players react to these crazy ideas before going all in. Overall, I don’t even know whether the problem is greed or pride, but if hoyo doesn’t start innovating on their system, the game will become even more irrelevant, especially with more innovative games like Star Rail and WuWa around to show players what they could have
Despite any claims the elemental system is extremely complex you always run the risk of breaking some intuitive mechanism by throwing reactions around. For example allowing Cryo to not react with Dendro(despite players bitching) means you can take advantage of other reactions same as what Hydro does There's also the need to keep things like Power Creep under control. HSR has some pretty intense Power Creep but it's also the norm for Gacha There's also players who throw around lazy critque. For example TCG gets Updates constantly same as Tea Pot which gets overhauled But when it comes to combat what is "good" is problematic. Some people think World 9 is a good idea but you haven't made the game better all that's happened is a mob that took 0.5 seconds takes 1 For some Abyss 2 is what they want a lazy TOF style treadmill TLDR Players are not dead and are definitely not working with the same road map as the devs. In a worse off situation listening to fans is how you get a Wuwa problem Where they lack an identity and bend to fans whims. Rewriting 90% of the story sounds nice but now you've have people working over time to add that content Giving out shit is nice but you've now built an audience who expects free shit just for blowing there nose You have 3 end games but to be real 2 of them are just a derivative of other game modes and the last one is one time only which will become easy once players out damage content
Because this game exists only to sift players in search of donators. To attract new prey game doesnt have to be good, it just have to look good. This is why they work only on the wrapping.
@@demonking-zm3rs don’t misunderstand me, I’m aware that the ideas I gave are not informed by any knowledge of game design and may be impractical, I said as much in my original comment. The point of my comment was to emphasize how little experimentation the genshin team engages in. I only threw in those ideas as examples of how they could innovate, not necessarily suggestions of what I want from the game. With my point about communication, I was more thinking about something like beta testing. Wasted resources if a new feature fails is a huge risk for a business and is a possible reason they may not want to engage in experimentation. So I just offered it as a solution to that problem. At the end of the day, Genshin is the result of hoyo putting their vision into reality and we are just consumers of the product, so it makes sense that they get to control the creative direction of it. But with any product, some feedback has to be taken from consumers to ensure the overall satisfaction of both parties, and a balance has to be struck. Too little feedback acceptance cause some consumers to lose interest, while too much feedback acceptance can result in product identity loss, as happened with the story of WuWa.
Let me tell you something, hoyo can very very easily afford to do something like this as they had enough money to create a whole freaking nuclear fusion reactor 💀

What do you think "Casuals Players" looks like? (Which is the main demographics of Genshin Impact players) I have 4 friends who at one time or another play genshin, 3 still play actively. One of my friends started the game when it first came out. Her account is still locked at the last ascension quest. She refuses to do it because if she does it, the game will get harder, and she doesn't like the idea of the challenge. Another of my friends only likes DPS characters. As in, her teams consist entirely of onfield DPS characters. If you ever coop with her, be prepared to play healers and supports. My third friend eventually quit playing because she couldn't figure out how to fight and defeat Dvalin. My fourth friend only likes pyro characters. He is the most "competent" but it's a struggle to get him to even consider non-pyro characters. He only pulled for Nahida because I told him that Thoma is to Burgeon as Kuki is to Hyperbloom and he got onboard. Hoyo builds challenges for people like my friends, because they make up a larger percentage of the player base than people like me. This is purely anecdotal, but more genshin players are like my friends than like me. Hoyo has to sculpt the content for those people.
if you spend an effort to watch or read the guide from youtube or other sources and implement it, you're not a casual players. Genshin main offerings are Exploration, Story/Lore, and Character design. I think a a boss rush will be pretty nice to add kinda like gauntlets in sekiro where we get a skin after completing them and a mode with endless mobs which us randomly generated or if not these two a royal palace from dmc 5 will be a great edition
I wish sometime in the future they add something like paincage(kill the boss i does not matter how long kill it and get a reward) and reset either bi weekly or weekly even beter add some babel tower mode (give the boss a buff to get higger reward)
So even bigger passive hp sponges? The timer is the cancer that has a hold on Genshin, Qiqi isn't bad because the character is bad, she is not suited for the kind of game Genshin is nowadays, the Imaginarium was their chance to make something good and somehow they managed to do everything wrong.
Genshin could simply fix this by replacing the "requirements" With "recommended" Elements and not fucking gatekeeping it only to certain characters. Their sister game did this and guess what I can bring my BigBootyholl and Gojo-wannabe to the challenge where it's not even recomended to use their element, but I'm still kicking ass because they're the characters that I'm invested in, and I'm doing that simply because they're just fun to use. What's the point of playing a damn game if you're not having fun?
@@GetoSugure"Oh no! I don't have this certain character! Guess I have to pull for them now because I can't clear this content." That's basically what Imaginarium Theater is. Also, what's the point of having to use a character you don't enjoy using? It only makes it painful for you to waste resources and time on these characters. Imaginarium theater isn't even good because it's just Spiral Abyss+ with more limitations. Unlike how Genshin's other games' endgames that changes certain aspects of gameplay, all you get here are invisible buffs that benefit certain characters.
Genshin doesnt have end-game intentionally. Current state of the game (which is exactly the same as it was on release) perfectly serves its purpose. It is a donation sifting scheme, that only cares about player influx being higher than outflux. Mihoyo wants GI players to get bored and move into their other "products" (which, suddenly, have end-game) for a second round of donation sifting. Those players will come back to try new GI big patches regardless, and its better if they dont have any f2p savings. Mihoyo never cared about making games and who plays them, they only care about money. So i would recommend to avoid any game from Hoyo, as they treat their audience as dumb cashmonkeys.
Just don't waste your time on any hoyo game other than genshin, and don't spend any money there, given you don't happen to have mental breakdowns over lost 50/50s, no pulls on weapon scam banner, or not having all the 5-stars in the game. Simple as that.

My problem with Genshin is something that'll never be fixed, tieing certain mechanic to certain characters, e.g, why isn't parry a universal mechanic? Why does only one character able to do it? Why is swapping mid air locked to one character?
actually that is why i got bored of Wuwa... all the character play the same. spam aoe attack = win. Genshin isn't really an action game like wuwa, the original idea of element play was brillant because it is different, however I did not understand the logic behind it then and push for the to simply it. thinking back it was a mistake, because the restriction actually force more divesity... but the reality is genshin is a casual game, and I too play it causally. the reality is these games cannot survive for long if they are mechanically driven. it why wuwa is also so spammy, it not that they can't design better playstyle, but if you want the majority of the people to pull, you gotta make it easy to use. that's something Wuwa learn from genshin 1.0-2.0 turn around, the game became less technical not more is intentionally driven by market demand.
And it only 1.1 wait till they cook on bosses pgr going more simple now but if community want hard they can make it im excited im still in building phase so hard comment on it but loving it currently
Idk who the hell thought it was a good idea to force people using random teams in a game where combat is solely based around elemental reactions and nothing else. Not to mention you get screwed for using some elements together. This mode is like how to ruin your own combat system 101
@@shadowreaper4970 This!! Now let's see if they'll improve geo reactions, cause absolutely no one will tolerate having to build geo characters they didn't plan or want to build but now we'll be forced to build the wacky geo characters and some of us don't even have enough geo characters. I'll only build other geo characters if they give geo some new elemental reactions. Cause the benefits and rewards we get after building so many characters we never wanted to for such an annoying game mode is just not worth it. We DON'T get enough rewards and resin back after completing IT. Which is honestly so crazy how it gives less primogems then spiral abyss💀 imo IT should give more Mora,Exp books,Resin and at least 1600 primogems for all the effort we put in and all the resources we wasted. But knowing hoyo even increasing the primogems from 620 to 820 will take them years to do💀💀💀
@@shadowreaper4970 Besides that, two of Genshin's "endgame" somewhat contradicts each other. Spiral Abyss wants you to build two teams and vertically invest in them so you can 36* the entire thing. Imaginarium Theatre wants you to build many characters and horizontally invest in your account. If you're a new player, you're already finding it hard to build a strong enough second team for Spiral Abyss, and now you also have to worry about Imaginarium Theatre. Sure, you can slot in trial and borrowed characters in IT, but you still need a couple more chracaters to fill in the other slots. If you're a long-time player, you'll find both Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theatre boring because not only do you have enough characters built, but they're also strong enough to just melt through the enemies. It's a lose-lose situation that leaves one side frustrated and the other unsatisfied.
Don't forget Hoyo made Abyss give less primos every month after introducing IT. New endgame modes in HSR mean more jades, but apparently in Genshin we couldn't have it.

I honestly love how every endgame in wuwa gives me a whole different experience. They're all about combat and winning a fight sure but each one of them has a different purpose throughout this fight. When I'm playing ToA it's like a test to my builds, my team synergy and my rotation speed When I'm playing Illusive realm it's like a combat without rules where everything go crazy and you can see your character's kit being used in a whole different way (For example Jiyan, instead of worrying abt getting his ult I try to extend the ult state as much as possible which is crazy unga bunga) When I'm playing holograms it's the time where I truly lock in, remember every move the enemy has, remember every move your character has, parry dodge swap cancel.. all in the same time. A challenging and sweaty experience When I was fighting the red enemies in the overworld it felt like a training ark for me back then at the start (lol) like a hologram for smaller easier enemies. I learnt how to dodge, counterattack, and parry from them. It was even more fun to get your ass kicked with friends Same can be said about hsr endgames when it comes to diversity as it's a strategy game instead of a skill game. Both were truly wonderful experiences, my fav gacha games
The thing is, I’m not even a meta player yet I enjoy the Illusive Realm. It’s really well made AND indeed allows me to try not only characters I don’t have, but also those I have and can play differently. It’s superb. Kudos to Kuro!
The thing is the World Elite Mobs can be beaten even if the team your using is 50 levels below it. I fought a lvl 120 Lightcrusher with 2 people on co-op and both of them have level 60 characters with me only 10 levels higher than them. You can beat them as long as you're good no p2w required
The funny thing is Honkai Impact 3rd (also made by mihoyo) was the first of these gacha games to introduce a rogue like mode, it's called Elysian Realm. Games like WuWa and Aether Gazer actually copied it from HI3rd. The only reason why genshin doesn't have this mode is due to hoyo's unwillingness!
Players now need 18 built characters (of the required elements) to clear. A blatant cash grab that triggers fomo in new players. Typical genshin tactic.
Even MoC, Star Rail's equivalent of Spiral Abyss, offers more challenge for endgame players because it has zero cycling which offers a new level of challenge. Optimizing teams for zero cycling is completely different from simply getting all stars. It's a tangible goal which players can strive towards. Beating Spiral Abyss in x minutes feels like an arbitrary goal and is just less satisfying in comparison. Pure Fiction has a max score of 80000 (the required score for getting full rewards is 60000) which players can try to reach for a harder challenge. And it also has zero cycling for even harder challenge. Apocalyptic shadow doesn't have zero cycle, but at least beating score goals still feels more substantial than doing Abyss speedruns

Elevating difficulty add a additional condition starting with a base 1 condition on the easiest setting choosen. My Idea ... I have this head canon that the team in charge of Genshin these days are the devs and interns sent to work on it as some form of punishment and they just take their frustrations out on the players 😂 It is so frustrating how Genshin refuses to evolve. You know what players want for better endgame, yet the best you can do after all these years is a worse version of an event from 4.4 as the new monthly content
IT is a bust for players because it wasnt made for players. It has become too easy post 4.0 for people to buy a couple power units and win abyss every week- which means abyss has failed as a carrot to compel newer players to spend So they replaced half of abyss lockouts with a horizontal investment tool. It would be really smart if they werent so lazy in its implementation that its obvious to everyone and nobody likes it. Illusory realm on the other hand by its design seems to exist for no other reason than to give players something enjoyable and engaging to do, while helping us master lesser played characters and letting them showcase new ones.
I quit Genshin Impact 1 year in after I realized it was one childish limited event after another, and that they had no plans to add challenging events or permanent endgame.
Thank you for this video 🙏🙏 I really really love searching up video essays about Wuthering Waves so I clicked on this as fast as I could. I've had a Genshin account since the first year but have been unable to play due to the high demands it wanted from my PC, and when I was finally able to get into it 4 years later, there was just so much stuff to work through and it didn't feel rewarding in the slightest.
I just would like to point out by simply running around and exploring , opening chests etc. i managed to farm 50 pulls for next character in wuthering waves
bro complained about genshin copies but not wuwa copies bro complain about why genshin (open world game) make end game content arena base (instant base) literally wuwa doing that too bro saying fun is "subjective" but proceed saying something really subjective thing ever like "paying for making game easy" (if this their fun whats wrong with that i dont get it) genshin literally action combat with elemental reaction its not easy as "just create this create that" hack & slash combat like wuwa they have example from PGR and their end game are insanely great (i know cus i still play PGR) but man wuwa removed their "elemental reaction" from alpha or beta (i forgot which one), bcs they know making end game content base on "elemental reaction" combat system not as easy as making end game content for ordinary hack & slash combat also hsr is turnbased lets compare it when kuro has their own turnbase game (i bet its less than 2 years they will release it)
Genshin had endgame events with bosses using extra and unseen attack patterns that made it way more challenging. They also where co-op from 2 to 4 players, and ofc doable solo if you don't enjoy multiplayer... You could select difficulty from easy to super hard, and in addition you could select massive de-buffs to your characters to make it even harder. Bonus, you could disable timer all together and use lvl1 character if it pleased you. Those events where: Hypostatic Symphony 2021/01/16, Energy Amplifier 2021/04/30, Legend of the Vagabond Sword 2021/06/25 Now imagine if they re-used those events, took the bosses and put them in a explorable dungeon like in WuWa's Depths of Illusive Realm, with small battles beforehand where you could pick buffs that actually matter. Let you play any of your character and let you play co-op with friends... But no, instead we get freaking restrictive circle fights, with the same boring enemies, with no repeatability. Genshin could never.
Wait are you telling me what they did not release an event like that for about 3 years? Wow... I quit the game like 2 years ago so I didn't know but I used to love those events.
Honestly I just love wuwa gameplay a lot more than genshin (I love both stories equally probably) since it just feels more alive with dodging and illusive realm and all the different things you can do. For context I have Zhongli in Genshin and never take damage anymore :/ I miss the days I was a new player and all the challenges I had. Now it’s just too easy. Wuwa is just feels more alive and challenge filled
bro, are you seriously arguing that older game should be better? which 4 year old game do you still play? LOL. the fact that Genshin is not only competitive but still the leading open world gacha is an achievement. will Wuwa be able to stand competition from newer game in 4 years like Genshin did? I find that unlikely given the trailer of unrelease game, newer game should always have the advantage, not the other way around. the fact that Genshin is able to fend off competition for years is already a miracle.
@lagrangewei Yes, genshin should have been better because that game had the most potential out of any gacha in the market, but they wasted that potential on minigames and cards
Was really disappointed with Imaginarium. And not because it's easy and shit. I've already moved on with the fact that Genshin will never be challenging in any way and is just a pretty kids game to kill time and relax. But just the only actual new thing Imaginarium brings, which are poses (that aren't even fucking animated but nvm) resets only once a season... Like... Fucking why? So that I could purchase all the poses for characters that I have fucking zero interest in? Or for the characters that I don't even own? And the poses we get in Imaginarium per season are NOT EVEN FOR THE CHARACTERS THAT GET THE BOOST. The list is fucking random. And if you are not interested in poses, you just have to wait another fucking season. Wow, hoyo. Feeling generous this week? Why not once a year? Or once a two years, to keep up the tradition? I like GI. I really love the game. But Hoyo is just straight up treating GI players like swines. Next step for GI community will be Hoyo taking a shit into each players mouth and telling them it's a chocolate bar, and the only thing GI community will be upset about is that Hoyo didn't specify if it's milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
Very thoughtful analysis. I agree with you 100%. IT was a let-down. I don't care to sweat hard enough to beat the Abyss with 36* (I can clear just fine) and I'm not going to whale to trviliaze either IT or the Abyss. But in WuWa I was just running the trial characters in the Dream Realm and having a great time. Clearing and not clearing were good. I don't love holograms or elite enemies but I love that it's in the game for someone who wants to do it.
Wuwa Boss(holo thundering Memphis)be like: Oh you like hitting me with big number right Me with S3 jinhsi: get bodied Seriously tho....i know you can hit big pp number...but most of the boss attack can 1 shot your DPS if you're slow and sucks at dodging
No you’re not. I love it as well. Tho not necessarily for the combat aspect only. The overall aesthetic, the fact that we get to talk to the characters after battle, the lore, the soundtrack, etc. Stuff like this is why I enjoy Genshin so much, it just has this charm that makes me absolutely adore and love this game.
The great thing is both of these angry end game modes have lore tie ins. It took genshin four years to build the Lore for the end game mode but still haven't had any Lore into their existing endgame mode. And kuro made an endgame and then built lore into it.
Im glad wuwa took the initiative and make awesome endgame ( i literally spend 4 hours in illusive realm even though i already claimed most of the materials )
Off topic In my honest opinion, i think those secret world bosses (level 100-120) should give like a small reward, like 10-20 astrites per boss (capped at maybe 3-5 bosses per week). Something for players to challenge themselves and also a little reward, also a great way to test yourself without having to go to hologram bosses. That's just me though.
They actually do for one time for each world bosses through achievement. Even though it's a miniscule amount of rewards, it still gives some kind of satisfaction nonetheless.
As fun as it was at the start, it became a chore that you have to do every week once you done with the lore portion. The build path becomes pretty much the same for a character as you want to clear it as fast as you can. The abyss system in honkai impact is also just a spending check where you are forced into a team comp for each cycle and have to rank your clear times against other players in the same placement as you. Team not good enough to be in the placement? guess you get place in a lower bracket with lousier rewards then (although its less than 100 gems per bracket difference its twice a week so its adds up). Memorial arena is also just another team comp check if you want to clear the higher difficulty. The power creep got so bad that i finally gave up after playing since launch, sure they give you free S rank units sometimes but their relevance in the end game is pretty low by the time.
I was hoping imaginarium theater would be like simulated universe in hsr where we can have a weekly reset and keep us entertained while waiting for a new patch, but nooo... they gave us another 30 days reset "end-game"
I'm unsure if you guys have seen it yet but there's several new leaks of a new roguelike map for 1.2, depth of illusive realm may get new map updates, or this may be a new gamemode in its own :)
roguelike is also a way to test potential feature like there couldve been so many new mechanics that made it out of genshin’s events and implemented into the gameplay with just a bit of rebalancing enabling different ways to build characters making them more unique in how each player uses them too because as it currently stand genshin’s characters just do so little when outa their entire kit only a small portion of it is worth using so regardless of team comps youre using the exact same ability per character and any experimentation and exploration on gameplay variance with them is locked behind available characters too like imagine if you can facilitate a plunging atk playstyle on catalyst users or charge atk on claymore users that actually does dmg because some of the buffs from events really provides a new perspective on “solved” character actually experienced the whole event exclusive mechanic making it into gameplay thing in another game, plays an mmo called DFO/DNF and in a prior lvl cap there was a big roguelike event that everyone loved where some of the buffs was to increase certain skill’s sizes, dmg and lowered cd, get enough of it and you can become a really fun 1 trick pony and when the next lvl cap arrived the new gear available can be customized to achieve similar results to what you can stack from the event with even the devs admitted the prior event was testing grounds for these sort of gameplay features both seeing what an acceptable limit was and if such a thing can fit into the game without compromising balance between the classes
Clown company om If the infamous "excessive anxiety" interview from years ago wasn't a big enough nail in the coffin for any hope of good end game in genshin, this bootleg ass game mode sure as hell is.
i realy like illusive realm because i can saw a new moveset from the character that i use. for example yinlin with more aoe hit in basic atk, jinhsi basic atk is modified to the dragon spinning at first hit, and sanhua can spam heavy attack after icy thing. i realy want genshin do the same thing, like hutao who can dash back and forth, or basic atk ganyu is modified to charge atk only, etc. they already have the "simulated universe" sistem in inazuma event but then why not bringing into a permanent mode instead imaginarium theater?
The fact that even if u get the most op characters like jiyan and jinshi you literally still have to dodge and time their skills where the boss can't one shot you
I'm getting so close to dropping genshin. I adore it and its like the only game ive managed to play every day without dropping which is really hard for me since I'm autistic and i have ADHD. Its so upsetting that its literally killing itself. Fontaine was way too short leaving so much empty time.
One thing I appreciated as a F2P player is that WuWa doesn't make their 4* char being useless, Danjin and Chixia are extremely good at their own situation if you give them a correct build. The shocking thing is that the MC in WuWa is actually busted due to their Ultimately being an absolute NUKE itself, you can one shot most of the bosses with their ULT if you're lucky with the crit chance. I love these characters in WuWa specifically the 4*, they don't felt left out, and they can be compared to other 5* char with the same build ratio.
the good thing is that, any character in wuwa is playable and not useless, just to your own preference play style and liking. Im maining chixia and spectro/havoc rover and lingyang rather than the other 5 star characters and was able to beat almost every end game content.
@@Wylabn i literally have zero 5* DPS char, and i mostly doing ToA with Danjin and Chixia and get a total of 18* at best, still unbelievable that I could do this when in Genshin i need to be stricter with the character I'm using ( most of the time I don't even have said char so my team completely useless in the end )
@@goshko8842 I adore Abby and some said that Abby does resemble the Madoka Magica cat. I don't know, I've never watched the show, but I do love Abby, hence my compliment to OP's PFP, haha.
The theater is so a$$ I have levelled my main chars max that all stages are so easy but I cant max out the rewards because i need 18 of them. For a relatively new acc this is a bummer
You say you feel nothing about fighting another beanbag boss in Genshin but I feel wuwa is lining up to be the same way. If you get a 5 star like jiyan, jinshi, changli, they have so much attack spam that you can ignore the parry mechanics all together. I’m not liking the kit designs of many 5 star so far. Illusive realm is fun but I wish they let us use our own echoes.
Nah, Jinshi already Fucked the game in one patch, Many players including me already realized this is gonna end up just like that, it's just a Matter of time before some content creator makes a Honest Video on it
I'm scared Wuthering waves won't sell as much with the way they do their business, which eventually gonna lead to their downfall. It's good to please the players but it's also good to say "you get what you get" to the players like Genshin did. You just need to find the right balance, in which case I think Honkai Star Rail is the best example. Also, just to make it clear, I love Wuthering Waves and plan to enjoy the game till the very end, but, I'm worried about their future, not because their game is bad nor them not listening to the playerbase, it's the opposite.
sounds like u haven't played pgr. thats just how kuro runs their game. funny to use "downfall". meaning they dont abuse their players patience which leads to downfall?
Then spend few money on them, u like how they treat their playerbase, so support what they do. With that, they could survive nonetheless. Yeah the game is free and f2p friendly, but doesn't mean u couldn't support them in any way.
I think the design goal is the main factor. WW made the rogue mode to just make a event to let us have fun with new skills and buffs, which pay more attention to modify and enhance experience with specific character. While Genshin's new mode is just designed to increase the gacha and box requirement, it's not a fun to us, but a limitation.
Funny thing is Mihoyo already made an Illusive realm before, twice. In the Early months of Honkai Impact 3rd, they had an endless dungeon with endless buffs called matrix mode but nobody engaged with it because it gave poor rewards, they later removed it, 4 years later we got Elysian realm, an actual endgame mode with gem rewards which works basically like the video game Hades/illusive realm, contains unique effects and moves per character, and has 4-5 patches worth of "Main Quest" content and lore packed into it. So it's not like they're unable to make good content, they just don't for some reason.
Throughout the genshin patches(been playing since 1.1) i always thought the various game modes and mechanics in events that happened are testing grounds and will later implement it/make it permanent based on its reception. I feel not one thing have been implemented. Im not 100% sure though so if theres a mechanic/game mode from an event that have been implemented in patch 4.5 onwards please feel free to reply here.
Unpopular opinion, but i actually like the concept of this game mode because the player can build more diverse team with some limitations, so you can't spam the most optimal team core every time. Also, i think this is supposedly an endgame mode, which means the player who can excel in this game mode already have many characters built and have enough genshin knowledge to build a team under certain limitations.
FINALLY someone actually gets it, it's called end game for a reason, I'm just saying but if a new game already has a end game mode then that just shows you how lack luster the story has to be to have a skip button
i really like the combat mechanic of Wuthering Wave. it's very detailed until i'm planing to open Excel and write down everything in it. It's also my first Gacha game as well, but to be honest, i thought gacha game was gonna be like money grab p2w, but i totally changed my mind after trying it for a week because i still can see my character progression and get new character through event. however, as a pc gamer, the worst part of this game is there is no "account detail setting" which is weird that the game won't allow players to change email. once you lost your email = you're fucked. that's why i won't spend any dollar in this game.
tbh hoyoverse itself is killing the game, the community sucks, genshin gets boring overtime saying this as i played it for 3 years. There’s basically no way to grind primos after you finish all events, you can say exploration but it’s boring. combat is just mashing buttons, the game is full of children who get angry if you say the game sucks
I mean, wuwa also suffer the same shit 😂😂. Saying that it is just a hoyo problem when all others live service game(ie gacha) suffer the same thing feels like you have a hate boner for hoyoverse.
You know whats funny? HSR had their version of Illusive Realm which is the Simulated Universe and its own DLCs lol. You know what's even funnier, Genshin did this with the Childe Inazuma event and decided to make it time limited instead. That could have been a better compensation for their shtty first anniversary. How tf did they messed this up???
I have 17 and cant participate genshit new hard mode, until I realize traveler can be wind element.... and I use wuwa switching and dodge tech to end this game mode....
One issue I can see with adding special abilities for characters for the sake of a specific gamemode is that genshin has 80+, it'd be pretty demanding to add an entire upgrade system exclusive to a single gamemode with that many characters. Wuwa however has the advantage of starting fresh and being able to flesh out these features one by one. It's like procrastinating your school project until the final day vs. doing it from the beginning and improving along the way.
"Nice glazing and glorying a copy cat! good for u man! very nice and fresh breath of the wild 2.0 truly breath taking experience" there fixed it for you
@@p4ntom87 so if genshin is also a copy cat then care to elaborate why WuWa is also copying from genshin? yeah ur ballz won't be able to handle that blind WuWa glazer. some freebies really fked up ur braincells
Uhhh, Illusive game mode is equivalent to Elysian Realm in Honkai Impact 3rd so it's not a new thing. Also did you forget those elite named mobs in Fontaine? I think that is also count as open world special mob. Wuwa RC QOL is as real as Genshin constellation. Spiral abyss and Tower is the same time attack gameplay. Also many active end-game modes didn't mean it will become a good game, ppl that play other games or has to do other things will have a changes of losing benefits from that. So I think ppl need to stop batting on each other and just play your own game of choices Wuwa have a lot of things I dislike, music sucks, echo lvl up is a pain, Changli JP voice file when she start running is low quality, Targeting system sucks, community will be on par as Genshin in term of toxicity toward other games.(Well... most of Wuwa is ex genshin player anyway) The things I like in Wuwa: -Camellya -Ma Xiaofang -Bocchi voice from Jihnsi -In-Game model is better than Genshin in every aspect -Weapon Banner in way better than G game -Can skip annoying npc dialogue -Wall run(Prototype, game from 10+ years ago still did better tho) -Each character has their own moveset -Many QOL from Genshin is implement to Wuwa on 1.0
i remember my friend said, "the truly end game content is when gacha game fans attack each other, in other mean "we" are the endgame" XD
Wait... genshin have those albeit it was CC genshin who attack each other lmao. just one step to a truly end game content
The only interesting things about Genshin Impact
*THE DRAMA*
I think it's gonna be difficult because this kind of game is very uncompetitive, whoever has money has a rank 1, and I believe many players will not like it especially from f2p and players who are just buying Welkin
It took me a few seconds to realize you don't mean pvp XD
I love gacha pvp
In Genshin, Albedo’s only main weapon is locked behind an event. If you missed the event, you’ll never get it. Same for weapons like festering desire and dodoco tales, 2 incredible weapons forever locked. I don’t know if WuWa will do this. I really hope that they don’t. But this was really bad on Hoyoverse’ part.
HSR also did this. Silverwolf's 4* weapon forever locked and it was 5* quality weapon.
one thing that Kuro is notorious for is their generosity. Signatures are always never gonna be lock behind an event. They will probably start giving us free weapons by the first anniversary.
actually that makes things more valuable since they are limited and not easily accesible like even money can't buy those things and we all value stuff money can't buy
Week 1 Wuwa player here. No, they never did this. Also it's 3 times easier to get sig weapon for your character as it is GUARANTEED after 80 pulls
Albedo's bis weapon is now chiori's weapon
Honestly it's not as much of "Genshin could never" as it is "Genshin WOULD never"
Honestly if Genshin by some miracle manage to fixing the endgame, fixing the gacha(character & weapon), fixing the traversal mechanic or even giving free 5 star, I won't even think to touch the game ever again, if all it took for them to do it is from competition then no, even when the anime is finally out I still won't play it, 4 years is too long and I even stop playing at 2.6
What an original comment, I like how original you are lol
Well, anything to say now?
and where's wuwa hype right now 😊
THEY LITTLERALLY HAD A DEPTH OF MOTHFKIN ILLUSIVE REALM ON THEIR OWN
It's the freaking childe dungeon event bruh
They just chose to delete it and give us this so called endgame mode. Engame for who exactly??? A 5 years old with their dad's credit card or something???
lmao not the 5 year old with their dad's credit card 💀 so true tho
Legit, I was so sure they'd keep that mode as an end-game mode, it was almost perfect and used character movement and everything... but nope, wtf
Came for the Yinlins jiggles, stayed for the ACTUAL gameplay
Bro what
You what for Yinlin's jiggles?!
Well thats a low end
I'm lying if I didn't get super enticed by Jiyan and Calcharo's washboards, ahaha.
I came for the gameplay, but that Liberation bounce, sealed the deal though.
That sounds quite depressing.
The game is literally a downgraded azur lane disguised as an open world(with an open world as lively and full of content as a desert)
I agree, genshin combat can go no further than that childe event in 2.2
sure they can put all the bells and whistles to make stuff harder or give more variety, but is it actually worth the effort for the marginal returns?
Genshins true strenght is exploration and worldbuilding things that cant be easily made into endgame activities, unless they invest a ton of resources to make "Exploration Endgame"
Wuwa hologram bosses and tower of adversity are also in a confined circle arena with timer.
I never got over this too😢 I could imagine the developers reviewing her kit and said this is it, we have created the ultimate trash let's release it to piss people off
Can you call it a fuck up if they never intended to make her good?
I remember skipping nahida for her lol it's fucked up when I see her kit
@@thewok8822 i did the same and i still regret it.
Same, when sumeru was released and dehya was introduced, I'm already set her as my main but look at what they did
realistically speaking, i think the only fault wuthering waves did is that they introduced gold echoes early. there's no midgame in wuthering waves. i distinctly remember sticking to purple artifacts in genshin (just caring about atk main stat, ignoring substats) for like a month or two before reaching the point of farming gold artifacts.
Holograms are a one time thing(unless you like flexing speed clears)
The other 2 will feel just as bland and boring just as Spiral Abyss(in Genshin), MoC, PF and SU(in HSR).
The future problem is gonna lie on how Kuro will handle needing to balance out the burn out... Which considering majority of the people I know that loves PGR fall under the "seasonal player" kind of deal isn't really good prospect.
I have mix feeling about the echoes rarity
At one hand, no more data bank levels, I guess? On the other hand, quicker to farm and build a set then be done with it (it is, after all, a mobile game).
This is what a true gamer would say meanwhile those wua stans saying genshin is easy just coz they are in endgame, meanwhile wuwa is easier and more boringer just bcz u dont have those restrictions in rules genshin gives. Like once ur UL 70 in wuwa even holograms gonna be easy which is currently the only challengeing stuff for mid game. It's like GI devs never looked at what good things Hi3rd had:
Skip button
Better endgame
Better rougelike
More rewards.
Then again i guess this does cater to whale in a sense that they have a place for their beefed up units.
something beside the skip button next to nobody cares and more rewars for game that give update 24/7
Overall I found HI3 abyss to be waaaaay better than Genshins, since you can change teams/weapons anytime, you don't need to re-clear previous floors to update the score on upper ones, and its much faster.
why is hi3rd tanking then
@@vendetta_vvv Mostly because its too old, and the main part of the story that people started the game for is over. Not everyone likes the new part and the new characters. There is also waaaaay more competition now (in early days of HI3 there was baically none), including other Mihoyo games.
ZZZ is similar enough gameplay-wise that lots of people just moved there.
Funny thing is that simulated universe in Star Rail and Hollow Zero in Zenless is so much more fun than Imaginarium Theater. Genshin is really becoming the middle child.

@@rezin4378 the funny thing is that in elden rings case you CAN one shot most enemies in the game, including bosses, but there's so much minmaxing required that it too is engaging despite that, just in a different way
There's a glimpse of that in Genshin but the problem is that everything gets near instakilled regardless of your min-maxed set-up LOL

For example allowing Cryo to not react with Dendro(despite players bitching) means you can take advantage of other reactions same as what Hydro does
There's also the need to keep things like Power Creep under control. HSR has some pretty intense Power Creep but it's also the norm for Gacha
There's also players who throw around lazy critque. For example TCG gets Updates constantly same as Tea Pot which gets overhauled
But when it comes to combat what is "good" is problematic. Some people think World 9 is a good idea but you haven't made the game better all that's happened is a mob that took 0.5 seconds takes 1
For some Abyss 2 is what they want a lazy TOF style treadmill
TLDR Players are not dead and are definitely not working with the same road map as the devs. In a worse off situation listening to fans is how you get a Wuwa problem
Where they lack an identity and bend to fans whims. Rewriting 90% of the story sounds nice but now you've have people working over time to add that content
Giving out shit is nice but you've now built an audience who expects free shit just for blowing there nose
You have 3 end games but to be real 2 of them are just a derivative of other game modes and the last one is one time only which will become easy once players out damage content

(Which is the main demographics of Genshin Impact players)
I have 4 friends who at one time or another play genshin, 3 still play actively.
Combat is just an afterthought.

The timer is the cancer that has a hold on Genshin, Qiqi isn't bad because the character is bad, she is not suited for the kind of game Genshin is nowadays, the Imaginarium was their chance to make something good and somehow they managed to do everything wrong.
I will just ignore that since I just want. Relaxed game play that's it . When there is no new world building , lore or story
But where is the challenge, If everyone can use their best characters then why build your other forgotten characters
Except hsr, that game is goated
Just don't waste your time on any hoyo game other than genshin, and don't spend any money there, given you don't happen to have mental breakdowns over lost 50/50s, no pulls on weapon scam banner, or not having all the 5-stars in the game. Simple as that.

My problem with Genshin is something that'll never be fixed, tieing certain mechanic to certain characters, e.g, why isn't parry a universal mechanic? Why does only one character able to do it? Why is swapping mid air locked to one character?
Bruh maybe because some games have parries and others don't
actually that is why i got bored of Wuwa... all the character play the same. spam aoe attack = win.

When I'm playing Illusive realm it's like a combat without rules where everything go crazy and you can see your character's kit being used in a whole different way (For example Jiyan, instead of worrying abt getting his ult I try to extend the ult state as much as possible which is crazy unga bunga)
When I'm playing holograms it's the time where I truly lock in, remember every move the enemy has, remember every move your character has, parry dodge swap cancel.. all in the same time. A challenging and sweaty experience
When I was fighting the red enemies in the overworld it felt like a training ark for me back then at the start (lol) like a hologram for smaller easier enemies. I learnt how to dodge, counterattack, and parry from them. It was even more fun to get your ass kicked with friends
Same can be said about hsr endgames when it comes to diversity as it's a strategy game instead of a skill game. Both were truly wonderful experiences, my fav gacha games
GI biggest problem imo is that it just wasnt fun to explore the big map, while WW has a pretty expansive base moveset
Nope, you need just a few build characters others don't even need artifacts to max it out.
You sound soo dumb lmao
Lol no,i finished it with atleast 7 no artifact teammates
8 characters i think is enough for Genshin Impact (7 for each element and Traveler, whos game sometime force you to play even if you dont want to)😊

My Idea ...
There is no time limit, (unless its a condition) and a set number of waves and enemies on repeat till conditions are met. On each repeated rotation the mods gets increasingly higher damage mitigation and attack. Putting pressure on the player.

You should go back, definitely
I have this head canon that the team in charge of Genshin these days are the devs and interns sent to work on it as some form of punishment and they just take their frustrations out on the players 😂
It is so frustrating how Genshin refuses to evolve. You know what players want for better endgame, yet the best you can do after all these years is a worse version of an event from 4.4 as the new monthly content
IT is a bust for players because it wasnt made for players. It has become too easy post 4.0 for people to buy a couple power units and win abyss every week- which means abyss has failed as a carrot to compel newer players to spend
So they replaced half of abyss lockouts with a horizontal investment tool.
Maybe the Real Endgame was the Friends we made along the way

Genshin had endgame events with bosses using extra and unseen attack patterns that made it way more challenging. They also where co-op from 2 to 4 players, and ofc doable solo if you don't enjoy multiplayer... You could select difficulty from easy to super hard, and in addition you could select massive de-buffs to your characters to make it even harder. Bonus, you could disable timer all together and use lvl1 character if it pleased you.
Those events where: Hypostatic Symphony 2021/01/16, Energy Amplifier 2021/04/30, Legend of the Vagabond Sword 2021/06/25
Now imagine if they re-used those events, took the bosses and put them in a explorable dungeon like in WuWa's Depths of Illusive Realm, with small battles beforehand where you could pick buffs that actually matter. Let you play any of your character and let you play co-op with friends...
But no, instead we get freaking restrictive circle fights, with the same boring enemies, with no repeatability.

Well, it depends who you play. Taoqi can give lots of shield in WW too.
Genshin had 4 years to cook and wuwa, hsr, and ZZZ have already outclassed genshin and these games only recently released
bro, are you seriously arguing that older game should be better? which 4 year old game do you still play? LOL. the fact that Genshin is not only competitive but still the leading open world gacha is an achievement. will Wuwa be able to stand competition from newer game in 4 years like Genshin did?
Sorry, the poopy analogy is too funny. 🤣
I tried it, not even 1 minute in, I quit. WuWa's illusive realm is way much better experience
I like wuwa cause its so much more combat based than just hitting big numbers

No you’re not. I love it as well. Tho not necessarily for the combat aspect only. The overall aesthetic, the fact that we get to talk to the characters after battle, the lore, the soundtrack, etc. Stuff like this is why I enjoy Genshin so much, it just has this charm that makes me absolutely adore and love this game.
@@kaibatem Same! Kinda funny that you can put raiden and wanderer in the same area lol
The answer is MVP (minimum viable product).
Wuwa is the best gacha of moment. Lov it
Off topic In my honest opinion, i think those secret world bosses (level 100-120) should give like a small reward, like 10-20 astrites per boss (capped at maybe 3-5 bosses per week). Something for players to challenge themselves and also a little reward, also a great way to test yourself without having to go to hologram bosses. That's just me though.
They actually do for one time for each world bosses through achievement. Even though it's a miniscule amount of rewards, it still gives some kind of satisfaction nonetheless.
even honkai impact has the roguelike dungeon known as elysian realm. it even has its own lore to boot
More primos can't really complain
I'm unsure if you guys have seen it yet but there's several new leaks of a new roguelike map for 1.2, depth of illusive realm may get new map updates, or this may be a new gamemode in its own :)
roguelike is also a way to test potential feature like there couldve been so many new mechanics that made it out of genshin’s events and implemented into the gameplay with just a bit of rebalancing enabling different ways to build characters making them more unique in how each player uses them too because as it currently stand genshin’s characters just do so little when outa their entire kit only a small portion of it is worth using so regardless of team comps youre using the exact same ability per character and any experimentation and exploration on gameplay variance with them is locked behind available characters too
like imagine if you can facilitate a plunging atk playstyle on catalyst users or charge atk on claymore users that actually does dmg because some of the buffs from events really provides a new perspective on “solved” character
actually experienced the whole event exclusive mechanic making it into gameplay thing in another game, plays an mmo called DFO/DNF and in a prior lvl cap there was a big roguelike event that everyone loved where some of the buffs was to increase certain skill’s sizes, dmg and lowered cd, get enough of it and you can become a really fun 1 trick pony and when the next lvl cap arrived the new gear available can be customized to achieve similar results to what you can stack from the event with even the devs admitted the prior event was testing grounds for these sort of gameplay features both seeing what an acceptable limit was and if such a thing can fit into the game without compromising balance between the classes
Clown company om
If the infamous "excessive anxiety" interview from years ago wasn't a big enough nail in the coffin for any hope of good end game in genshin, this bootleg ass game mode sure as hell is.
yes becuase catering to the 3 % players over the loyal happy 97% is often seen as smart .

i realy like illusive realm because i can saw a new moveset from the character that i use. for example yinlin with more aoe hit in basic atk, jinhsi basic atk is modified to the dragon spinning at first hit, and sanhua can spam heavy attack after icy thing. i realy want genshin do the same thing, like hutao who can dash back and forth, or basic atk ganyu is modified to charge atk only, etc.
they already have the "simulated universe" sistem in inazuma event but then why not bringing into a permanent mode instead imaginarium theater?
The fact that even if u get the most op characters like jiyan and jinshi you literally still have to dodge and time their skills where the boss can't one shot you
Funny how Wuwa crashed and burned so fast.
hoyo devs killed GI. kuro just knows their playerbase and implements qol faster and better
Also you can clear ToA with only 4 stars too. I remember Dajin and Yanyang clearing ToA (not hazard the one) by going solo.
@@NICSU667 I'm jealous with these players being able to maxing their fav char lol...
Maybe one day I'll get to that point as well
the good thing is that, any character in wuwa is playable and not useless, just to your own preference play style and liking.

Genshin Impact cannot have a bad endgame content if they don’t have an endgame content

This didn't age welll 😂😂😂😂
@RealQuarlie ahh I can't even see a W in top 20 revenues 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@RealQuarlie speaking like that tower is a good endgame content, just a replica no more
Throughout the genshin patches(been playing since 1.1) i always thought the various game modes and mechanics in events that happened are testing grounds and will later implement it/make it permanent based on its reception.
I feel not one thing have been implemented. Im not 100% sure though so if theres a mechanic/game mode from an event that have been implemented in patch 4.5 onwards please feel free to reply here.
EMPTINESS
That’s the word used for the abyss and I got a lot shiet for it
And I’m f2p and I still steamroll the abyss
Unpopular opinion, but i actually like the concept of this game mode because the player can build more diverse team with some limitations, so you can't spam the most optimal team core every time.
Also, i think this is supposedly an endgame mode, which means the player who can excel in this game mode already have many characters built and have enough genshin knowledge to build a team under certain limitations.
FINALLY someone actually gets it, it's called end game for a reason, I'm just saying but if a new game already has a end game mode then that just shows you how lack luster the story has to be to have a skip button
One word: ignorance.
Let's see how Genshin will perform this time, now that they have finally a direct competitor.
Genshin got too conceited that nobody can catch up to them & stopped innovating. Just like Pokemon.
i really like the combat mechanic of Wuthering Wave. it's very detailed until i'm planing to open Excel and write down everything in it.
There’s basically no way to grind primos after you finish all events, you can say exploration but it’s boring. combat is just mashing buttons, the game is full of children who get angry if you say the game sucks
it boring if you play 24/7. exploration sucks if you dont like it . game sucks isnt valid critics and ones opinions arent free of critic eather.
I mean, wuwa also suffer the same shit 😂😂. Saying that it is just a hoyo problem when all others live service game(ie gacha) suffer the same thing feels like you have a hate boner for hoyoverse.

the vocal minority is NOT the playerbase...
I have 17 and cant participate genshit new hard mode, until I realize traveler can be wind element....
and I use wuwa switching and dodge tech to end this game mode....
Wuwa and hsr>>>>> any other game
One issue I can see with adding special abilities for characters for the sake of a specific gamemode is that genshin has 80+, it'd be pretty demanding to add an entire upgrade system exclusive to a single gamemode with that many characters.
Wuwa however has the advantage of starting fresh and being able to flesh out these features one by one.
It's like procrastinating your school project until the final day vs. doing it from the beginning and improving along the way.

-Ma Xiaofang
-Bocchi voice from Jihnsi
-In-Game model is better than Genshin in every aspect
-Weapon Banner in way better than G game
-Can skip annoying npc dialogue
-Wall run(Prototype, game from 10+ years ago still did better tho)
-Each character has their own moveset
-Many QOL from Genshin is implement to Wuwa on 1.0
