Why not 0% and focus on higher education for local Canadian citizens?
It is possible. Provinces should give money to colleges. Its all just comes to one word "Money"
@@glass8289I agree, but it's not the money itself but the love of it that is the issue.
Cause leftist govts are not interested in helping Canadians
90% of them r scammers

How the heck 1.3 millions students from India got admission in Canadians universities none of them speak English, its beyond my imagination.
It's absolutely sickening. We need to send these people back to where they came from
@@AbeySampson-ow8pz as a Canadian of Indian origin I myself find it baffling. I had to prepare for 3 months to give an English exam when I migrated to Canada 18 years ago. This was after completing all my primary education in English.
they copy and cheat and lie and spend $$ to get around the laughable loopholes...this is why the "students" are 40-60 years old.
30% still sounds ridiculous
canada doesnt look like canada anymore it looks like india.
Smells like India to.. I'm a sad Canadian
@HumanityEnslaved ....or is that Khalistani?
This is a Canadian problem. Canadians have been so brainwashed. For example Japan for Japanese right? Peru for Peruvians. Nigeria for Nigerians. So, Canada for Canadians? What makes someone Canadian? If a black man moved to Japan would that make him Japanese? Of course not so why is it Indians move to Canada and are called Canadians? If those same Indians moved to Japan they would not be Japanese.

Just had a meeting with my MLA (MPP) Claudia Chinder about the housing crisis. She refused to acknowledge the connection between immigration and the housing crisis and said to my face that she is for more immigration and will not be speaking to the relationship between housing and immigration. I will be speaking to my neighbors and locals in my riding to vote her out in the next election
Guess politicians make money through illegal LMIAs I've always suspected a connection

Newsflash ! Universities have always been business first and education second.

We dont even need 1 foreign student .
Then who will pay 3x fees?
@@xfghsthshcertainly not the foreign student who come study here.
@@AlexanderMason1 The Canadian education institutions needs foreigner's 3X fees. So majority quota in courses in private institutions is reserved for international student. A Canadian student is less profitable to these colleges and universities. I feel pity for the young Canadian citizen students. Things are looking bleak for them.
@@xfghsthsh
In Ontario, a 1.5 billion "bailout" is being given to Universities this year due to the drop in international student numbers.
That's the front door bailout, and then there are back door bailouts costing unknown amounts of 💰.
Many foreign students that are willing to pay higher fees for higher education, don't stay in Canada, they may keep their derived Canadian citizenship but they work off shore, accumulate higher wealth & hide it offshore, then show up in Canada to retire, limiting their tax support of the country.
How exactly does this help the nation in the long run, when the loss of those university seats for Canadian kids limits the higher education the nation needs to grow?
30% is still too high. Additionally, a single college cannot have more than 20% international students.
We went to our son's college graduation in June. Of the approximate 300 graduates in the 2nd (of 3) ceremony of that day, the amount of immigrants graduating was about 95%.
There needs to be a total stop to these scammers and who is coming into Canada
What's wrong with Australoid munda facial features?
How about cancel VISA's for those foreign students who are not attending class.
I'm an immigrant who came here with my PR. Before moving to Canada, I was working for the education ministry for a EU nation and they had a rule where a majority of the class had to be locals with a small % being international students. Glad BC has finally adopted that strategy. They should have done this 20 years ago. Hope the other provinces follow this soon
As you mentioned the overall plan used to be more in balance for the responsible needs of Canadians.
This has perhaps has gone too far in the other direction now & the question is still up in the air, if we can rebalance life for Canadians?
We need to invest in our future which are Canadian citizen students not international students 😂😂😂
THEY.HAVE.TO.GO.BACK.
Nah Black Australoids will keep coming and impregnate every beautiful white Canadian women and turn it into Pajeetland.
Challenge Accepted! When you eat, you must leave. Foreigners do not get to make demands.

Exactly
Unemployment numbers are increasing
Especially for young people
I estimate unemployment numbers, like CPI inflation numbers, are literally 3x what is claimed.
Also, under-employment is an even bigger issue where people are trapped in jobs not utilizing their skills. They work those jobs just to survive.
@@mtrest4 Exactly, like the tuition the mother F***** schools extract from them and its not just the private "strip mall" universities either. Ontario Colleges and Universities are getting 2.5 to 3x out of them as well.
And so are food bank demands When you a family of 5 or 6 no wonder food banks are feeling the strain
@user-lb8bg6kj9m I would say it is more than 3x their bogus numbers and lay offs are happening everywhere.
I was in college in the late 1970's and early 1980's and there was no such thing as "international students" back then.
There were but they were a very small percentage that went to the big universities like UBC.
30%? What a joke.
Its BS..completely end this scam called student visa.
30% is still too high.
@clyde, go ahead and look at University of Guelph. They added 7000 students and all there housing when to International stuents as per policy so domestic students are now on a 1300 person waiting list with no place to go/stay in guelph.
Maybe they should abandon Guelph then? Spend their money elsewhere
Close the diploma mill loophole entirely, introduce regulation that prohibits residency for 15 years after a student visa expires, and ensure actual attendance of foreign "students" as an eligibility requirement.
When Ontario gonna implement this cap ? Problem is more chronic in Ontario GTA . If Doug Ford doesn't do this public will assume he is just helping his crony friends.
Because he is.
Leave, go home to Europe. It’s a free country.
Congratulations I think you are a part of this decision and I appreciate it thank you
Thank you for the shoutout, Clyde!!
Hey Darshan !
All thanks to you!
Another rule. If more than 10 students at your school apply for residency, 10 million fine for the school. Another 10, another 10 million.
LOL. Even the BC hippies say they have to go back.
It is not worth the trouble for landlords to go thru the stress if these students do not pay the rent for months and also leave a mess behind once they decide to vacate the property
It has been a fact that goes back for at least 30 years that international students have been using enrollment as a back door to permanent residency with no problem for Canada, because the volume was very much under control. It instantly became a problem for Canada for the past 5 years or so when the flood gate of international students was made wide open due to the shortsightedness and a complete lack of scenario planning of governments - both federal and provincial - when these two levels of governments keep inventing new immigration programs that are tied to school enrollments for foreign students. Governments created the incentives, schools and foreign students simply responded to the incentives.
its not a victory ...there already millions here ! the damage is done you cant put the toothpaste back in the tube. These people are here and the damage it causes wont be measured for years to come.
Worse still they are not going anywhere
It’s funny I agree with you on this, then I see and here that the liberals have been deporting immigrants faster than ever recorded in history, behind-the-scenes. 🤔
It can be reversed it just takes a strong leader to pass a bill to start deporting east indians,Africans and jihadists even with permanent residency. Its no coincidence these 3 are being deported out if Europe right now.
Voting more of the same is insanity
I can measure it right now. We are screwed
We have bee looking for a cnc machinist for months. We have been flooded with resumes from people from India claiming they are machinist and engineers. All BS resumes. We interviewed a few and they couldn't answer basic questions and when asked to demonstrate skills they fall flat on their faces.
Little does everyone realize that 15 years ago it was capped at 5%. Then bumped up to 15% and now 30%. This 30% cap is not lowering the number it's actually increased it from where it was before.
I'm glad you made this video, I can recall when I was homeless and faced with many things in Life until $75,000 biweekly began rolling in and my Life went from A homeless nobody to a different person with good things to offer!!!!!!❤️

30% is still way too high.
Honestly 30 percent seems ridiculously high. Universities built with public funds and receiving publics funding should be serving citizens.
Most homes in my neighborhood are bought by Chinese to house students. Most are high school age.
Anchor babies. Another loophole that needs to be plugged.
I went to KPU and you'd think you were in India. I was offered money from some of the students in various classes, to do their assignments as, reading, writing, and speaking, English was an issue. On a group project, one Indian student submitted their part of the project and it was all copy pasted from various articles online. We had to explain that it was plagiarism. Said student claimed it was their work. When we brought forward our concerns to the instructor, the student was informed again about plagiarism but, allowed to remain in the class. I withdrew from KPU and finished at a different institution.
Big thanks to TrueNorth Harrison as well for all their reports and coverage of the issue as well.
Good job clyde, keep it going. Thank you.
Wow, a back door! 🤔 sounds suspicious...

Got to woke educated those foreign students
As an intl student myself, how innocent you can be to believe that the promise of a pr after studying is real. One knows for sure. If they are scammed believing then they shouldn't be in Canada or even leave their countries. They will just put themselves in danger not knowing how read rules and do their research. Also, people are telling them its not true even before they decide to protest they have knowledge of the rules already, from locals, from schools, from peers, from government for sure as they are already being televised. Why force your way in? It's absurd how someone can play the victim card without even being the victim.
Ignorance to the law excuses no one.
ignorantia juris non excusat - this applies to all countries including the one we left. Don't be ignorant!

This liberal government has been biting off more than they can chew since 2015. Former PM Pierre Trudeau did exactly the same thing with environment legislation expectations (see Club of Rome meetings) then OPEC raised fuel prices.
30% is still way too high. It should be 10%.
Few years ago there were international students coming in and there wasn’t even a problem but now it has become a nightmare, and most of these students do not add value to the economy…
Who's making these promises? People coming to Canada are supposed to be getting a higher education, not learn how to serve coffee at Tim Hortons
the diploma mills many are enrolled in at exorbiant prices
are not institutes of higher learning.
the diploma from there is no better than toilet paper.
the foreign students know it is but a scheme to purchase Canadian PR with the 3 x normal tuition fee being the cost.
the Canadian govt knows it too.
as do the banks which want to get the above suckers into debt
and the corporations which want to sell them products.
Its the other way around.
International student enrollment has fallen 30% or more already.
Students from abroad question the value of an expensive University education in Canada given the bleak job market.
The govt is simply resetting it to that lower level and making it look like they are reaponding to public concerns.
In Ontario, the provincial govt had to give Universities a 1.5 billion bailout due to the drop in foreign student numbers.
Where are you getting this info from?
We don't need you or you're money btw our taxes pay for you just stfu
100%on capping
Regarding to Cape Breton that it was mentioned in this video, I now understand the large amount of Indians I saw in Sidney, NS.
I went there last year for a quick trip to Cape Breton Island and I was surprised by the amount of Indians in that small city.
They took over the whole area.
That's another diploma mill
Yeahyyyy Australoid Munda facial features with stinky shit perfume authentic.
why is Danielle in Alberta waiting to limit their numbers?
Because we are sick of paying for you
One thing to note is that since international students make up the vasy majority of tuition revenue for universities, a cap on international student enrollment will mean tuition for canadian-born students will most likely sky rocket
It's LIES guys student visas from India 🇮🇳 up 55 percent 1st quarter this year

International students are not the problem, but mass visas for Indians are the problem. There should be 70% on Indian visas.
Good start, needs to go forward. May bring down the cost of education ... much needed in Canada.
A few years ago, i had applied for a teaching job at BCIT... During the interview I was told that I needed to speak Punjabi and mandarin for the position. WHY...i asked.... Well mr B...things have changed..... hmmmm I said YES THEY HAVE....
The way it should be❤
Should be 10% across the country.
Good and yes it’s a start
They should Study in their country and stay there.
My college class this year was over 90% International Students in Alberta and now cant find a Job in my sector, wonder why? This is a great idea, needs to be Federal law.
Should be zero our own kids struggle to get in to school.
That’s ok they were going to head back to Brampton anyway😢
Now they are building more houses That no one can afford to live in
30% is huge still !
Those students should be kept to a percentage but 30% is too high. We want Canadians taking those courses and becoming educated workers. I went to a technical institute but there were too many non Canadians signing up for courses that our children should be accessing first.
You know thats only going to double domestic tuition fees right? The Colleges and Universities will extract the $$ from somewhere.
Educate yourself. They have these things called books. Classrooms are so unessecesary.
A degree is the new highschool diploma. You need a graduate degree for many entry-level jobs.
I hope these are not just Statements only
International students would not be such a big issue if the government had doen things properly and imposed rhe following 3 simple rules:
1. International students not allowed to work off campus
2. Colleges to build and provide student housing.
3. No guaranteed pathway to Permanet Residence. You can only apply after returning to your home country.
I worked in Higher Education for my entire career.
My question, which was never answered, is if the tuition that is paid to a certified institution, like a real university (BC, Calgary etc), does this money cover the cost of the infrastructure, maintenance of the infrastructure. Is this money paid really cover all the costs???
likely it does for foreign students since they pay 3 x the tuition costs.
Way too many when that number doesn’t account for how many people came into the country without documents
Exactly immigration is a good thing but a common sense one !
It's called Canandia now
Only alumni in excellence should have this back door pathway.
Diversity is our stench
200% cap ( send them all back )
1% or 2% would have still seemed high to me.
30%???
Why would BC do this to Tim Hortons?
THEY SHOULD PAUSED FOR FEW YEARS UNTIL THINGS GET BETTER.
Whats not specified is the "30% in classrooms or school population in total"?
It's still way too high as is, but this doesnt DO ANYTHING!
30% of the students, the internationals, will still fill up all the academic classes, leaving garbage diplomas for canadian students to gain.
It doesn't curb the number of internationals PER CLASS!
Fools thinking it's a victory. The current percentage is only 22% in BC and 18% in Canada 😂
30% ?!?
Shouldnt it be like 5% or maybe 10% tops?
Over a quarter of our students arent even our students?
Universities want the 3x tuition fees.
the 2% idea i think is actually amazing! we would get a diverse amount of real students!
They need to reduce 2024 permanent residentship target to 200k from 500k.
We need to close our border for a while.
No they need to go home. I am sorry.
Visitors from india coming in big numbers this year.i would say 1000 times more than it used to and most of them applying refugees here now.
Useless ban, needs to be on private as well
Please discuss emigration as well, stat Canada released reports that last year 120k emigrated out of the country? What's going on. Who is leaving? Please make a show on this. Thanks
International students should only be allowed to enter Canada if they are taking courses on a full time basis in trades and professional disciplines of which there are a shortage of in Canada.
If you chosen course will prepare you to work at Tim Hortons or drive for Uber, stay the hell out of Canada.
