Tesla is the first live band I ever saw. It was on the Hysteria tour with Def Leppard back in I think 87 maybe. It was awesome front row my parents went all out for my first concert. I was an 8 year old going to these concerts . It was wild wish I could go back.
1989 Great Radio Controversy defined my life in 90’s . Every time I have seen their show , all the old folk like me go crazy . Everyone sings , lighters in the air . Because Tesla sings about love . Brian Jeff Frank and Tommy . !!!
@@Only_a_man here is a cool tidbit from my life . 2022 I took lessons at Long Beach School of Music . His name Mark Fitchett , and it’s Southern California. First lesson he asks me my influences . I told him Great Radio . He laughed , as he transcribed 1 guitar LP from late 80’s . Only one he did . For Cherry Lane . The Great Radio Controversy. I brought my book next week and he signed it . He was tripping that someone wanted his signature on that book . I told him it was big part of my life . We laughed and I still have the book , pages falling out as I learned that album note for note . Love Song is my favorite . My singer and guitar player and I use to go to concrete enclosed stairway at Cypress College after hours and played all these songs for fun . Every time a big crowd muddled in quad listening to us . We mixed in a little Daken and Def . Probably most fun I ever had playing Tesl songs . Peace .
I do love them and theyare coming to my town next month .Thought about getting tickets .Im not so sure now ..they are singing a lil bit slow .Im not used to hearing What you give as a ballad!
@@Jamiescottsmith hasn’t his voice always sounded like a buzzsaw? I’ve heard singers whose voices are shot, (Vince Neal, Don Dokken), if Heffs voice were really shot, I think everyone would know.
@@SeattleSam-ul5hr I've seen them 12 times from 87 to last year, no his voice did not sound like that until maybe 2012. Vince, Don and Jeff are all in the same boat. Vince was never good live, ever. Saw 84 concert and some in mid 2ks. Also Vince just spouts nonsense until the chorus. Don has zero range now, voice is deep, which is cool. His heyday he was awesome, as was Jeff. These guys are walking up to 70 years old. All that touring for 40 years, shits gonna break down. Its a cruel world when Vince is mega rich and couldn't hold a candle to the other to guys that HAVE to tour these days
H🎉eck no. They are rock and roll kings they are my favorite band in the 80s still my favorite I seen him with my daughter who passed away she won tickets to see him in my town where I live and we went and seen them they rocker rest in peace Alicia you've been gone almost a year March 14th I lost my second eldest daughter we fought like cats and dogs and she told me like about a year and a half ago that she finally got used to the idea of being a lot like her mom she said she got her strength from me every time I hear Tesla songs I think of her more and more because she love Tesla I'd like to see at least one more time rest in peace my angels she also passed with my three precious grand children in a tragic fire last year on March 14 😢😢
