My home town Sacramento boys! I remember the early days at the O, City Kidd and then to those big time shows at Cal Expo. Pro rockers all the way. Fruitridge Rd!
Wow, Frank Hannon does not seem to age at all - superb video of a unique rock band that is playin' in their own league, thanks for that great video, wish I had been there live ... all the best
Really glad I came across this video. This takes me back to my high school days...what a time to be into rock and metal. The 80's were freakin' awesome! Thanks Tesla for all the music and good times.
I once toured with this band over a decade ago. I am a can honestly say they are the most consistent band I have ever seen. seeing them play live every night was such a treat.
I remember getting their debut album soon after it came out and played it to death. Saw them open for Maiden in early '87. They were great from the opening riffs of Comin' Atcha Live. It's great to see them still doin' it with excellence.
One of my biggest regret is to never have seen this band live. Very unique. Troy Lucketta is such a great rock drummer and was a big part of their sound.
@@kenday5735 His initial tone is gone but he makes it work and the band has turned a tad harder because of it. Come back when you know something about vocals :)
True Rockers talents... The presentation is great, they have survived with youthfulness looks too. These guys earn every dollar . Cruise that...these dudes are definitely timeless monsters of rock !!
Such a good example of how important a groovy drummer / bassplayer are, it alway's "swing's" There are not so many rock drummers with such feel. Love it.
DUDE! THANK YOU for posting this! I immediately put in the ear buds and watched the whole damn thing. EXCELLENT!!! I've seen these guys like 30 something times and met them a handful of times. Every member of this band is a badass and your video caught all of it. Thanks!
I never got to see them live. One of a few who didn't tour my area when I was concert hopping in my youth. Im finally going to get my old ass and my youngest son who inherited a love for hair bands with me over the years to see them tonight in Columbus OH. He's never seen a live concert and I havent seen one in decades so I'm stoked to show him a real band in a concert setting before they all pass away. We just missed Great White and our favorite Cinderella has lost their guitarist so this will be his first.
Somethings stay the same , thank the heavens . I often listen to certain tracks on the iPod at gym , on very good headphones . Few weeks back shuffling thru my “hair metal” folder , Were No Good Together came on . Take a listen again y’all, what a vocal performance by a then unknown Jeff Keith and Tesla .. few summers later , they are everywhere with Love Song ..
Not only do they sound great, but they have always given a great show. One thing about Tesla is they LOVE their audience no matter how big or small, from arenas to bars, they give 100% and make everyone get involved. 40 years these guys have been out, and they have always sounded great and always smiling and having fun.
What a band,lm 60 years old, followed them, from the 80' and they still ring true. Saw them in London,in the 2003,off my head on sp@@d.l had my own moshpit. Bloodly legs, didnt stop on the train home. Good days😅
Although not the original lineup these guys carry the spirit of the band and give a kickass performance. As for all the snide comments on here I consider myself blessed to be able to hear this awesome music still being performed. I think you should just go get yourselves a life 🤣
Tesla is the first band I ever saw live on June 6, 1989 at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island. I'd love to find a video of that somewhere! Otherwise, I remember everything about that show.
A testament to old, but not obsolete! These guys are still rocking and more importantly, enjoying it!

Love Tesla! The lead singer looks exactly the same!😜This brings back a lot of memories from my teenage years!😎Great music!🎵🎸🎤
What about The Way it is? Was pissed when they didnt play when i saw them live
Tesla never disappoints. LIVE music nothing like it! Love it!!
Maybe the most consistently strong live band I can remember. I've seen them a ton over the years. They always deliver.
Great White … Jack Russell 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Still tight as ever never anything but professional and a great band, one of the older bands who are still rocking it in a genuine way 👍👍👍👍

They sound absolutely amazing. LOVE TESLA!

Seen them through out their career live, and they sound great every single time. Amazing band.
The sound exactly the way they did in the 80s haven't lost anything and no backing tracks . Jeff sounds great

I was front row center in the balcony. Thanks for recoding this concert. Tesla were awesome.
I remember getting their debut album soon after it came out and played it to death. Saw them open for Maiden in early '87. They were great from the opening riffs of Comin' Atcha Live. It's great to see them still doin' it with excellence.
Excellent video an editing! The Mighty Tesla always delivers!
I was there by the right speakers. Thank you so freaking much for catching this memory!
I saw them 3 times between 88-91. Twice opening for Def Leppard and once headline with Great White!
JUST LIKE THE OLD DAY'S, GOD BLESS! MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT YOU'LL!
Solid show.
Frank and Dave takin us to guitar hero school
Met these guys on the Reel To Reel tour. Really cool , nice band. Great bunch of guys.
Love this band

Noooooo they do not, his voice is shot

Ya, because you're such an expert. I know what his voice was,and what it is now and it's not remotely close. Don't smoke kids. @@acrisptaco8876

I LOVE TESLA!! Pure rock n roll and they deliver on any stage! Don't de-rock me!!!
I seen them back in the eighties they were pretty great they still sound good.
Such a good example of how important a groovy drummer / bassplayer are, it alway's "swing's" There are not so many rock drummers with such feel. Love it.
Too bad it's not Troy.😞
Alex Van Halen is one that always swung hard. Him and Michael Anthony’s vocals were a huge part of what made the band.
Have been a fan forever. Love Tesla
They sound & look great.
oh man, Shine Away Live... Awesome.
I got goose bumps when it started!! An all time Tesla favorite for me.
Great Band as always remember saw Tesla arco arena sacramento late oct 2000

Great job capturing an epic performance by Tesla on the 2023 MORC from a huge Tesla fan! I was at the show & it rocked!!❤
Dam !! Give a shout out to the guitar techs !!! Guitars coming and going and switching behind the scenes and not missing a beat ! Hell yeah !!!!
Remarkably good performance and mix. Great band that keeps it real
I saw them (and Y&T) open for Iron Maiden in 1986/87 in San Jose, CA. Epic. Still play all 3 of those bands in heavy rotation.
Underated singer, underated band
wow, miss these guys so much!!! great to see them on the MORC!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼❤❤
DAMN! These boys still bring it.
Dudes still sound great

It’s amazing how many bands get classified as metal and hair metal that aren’t even close to either.
Great Band !!! Go TESLA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish they opened with Don't DeRock Me...perfect song
Have they ever done that live?! Anybody that calls Tesla a hair band I will play them that song and that shuts them up
This band has NEVER sounded better live. God damn. Pure rock and roll band. No Backing tracks, Just 5 guys on stage playing their asses off!
jeff is awesome, to this day the only musician to ever ask me my name and talk Raiders football with me
I didn't expect them to open with that song. Sweet surprise!
Seen them together in sacramento as ' city kid ' and jeff was singing for the band 707. Then they became tesla, the name of a street in Sac
Wow!! Shine Away!!! Bust A Nut is my favorite Tesla album
I always loved their guitarist and those vocals are warm and familiar , wonderful band!
I'm going to sign up for that cruise!
Love these guys.. Seen them at M3 Festival in Landover, MD.. and they rocked the set!!!! One of my favorite bands!!!
TESLA, Still fricken rocken great.

Saw them open for LL Cool j in Sacramento when I was a kid in the 80s. ❤💪🔥
Way to go Andrew!
Awesome!
I saw them in the early 90s. They still sound that good. I thought by now he would have blown out that raspy voice. Not so.
Although not the original lineup these guys carry the spirit of the band and give a kickass performance. As for all the snide comments on here I consider myself blessed to be able to hear this awesome music still being performed. I think you should just go get yourselves a life 🤣

Damn, Jeff sounds so much better than recent years
Respect his authoritah!
He must have sounded really, really bad in recent years.
I thought they'd lose a bit with Troy no longer with them but Steve adds to their sound really well
He’s solid for sure. The younger brother of the great drummer Mick Brown from Dokken.
This is a great set list. Awesome to hear Love Me
So cool to see something from Bust a Nut being played.
