The 70’s Superman was where writers had imagination. If you didn’t have Kryptonite, magic, or a red sun, then Superman was pretty hard to beat

Superman is a solar battery, he stores solar power...destroying the sun won't make Superman instantly powerless. On top of this, Superman can survive in space...Goku can't, so destroying all the suns would result in Goku dying long before Superman dies. That's if Goku could even figure a way to actually find and destroy every sun without leaving earth's atmosphere.
