Hey friends! I know we may not agree with some of Nicole’s choices, but remember she was 18 when she met him and he was 30. She was still practically a baby and lacked the maturity to even understand the severity of the consequences of some of her decisions. But he chose to step out on his first wife with an 18 year old, he chose to fund her family while allegedly ignoring his own and most importantly, he chose to choose violence in how he handled conflict with her to the point that she had to hide evidence in a safety box. Yes there are things that I am not a fan of that she did, especially to Marguerite, BUT, she did not deserve such a brutal and insanely demonic death. Ron Goldman also was an innocent victim. Let’s be kind with the discourse. Thank you 🥺🤍 But also check out part one to this saga “O.J. Simpson’s sudden death + His teenage fury & drag queen father!”

Yes, she was only 18, but what kind of morals did she grow up with that allowed her to get mixed up with a married man? A man with 2 children and another on the way. I was once 18 and dumb, but even I knew that would be horribly wrong. OJ's behavior should have been a HUGE warning to stay the hell away!

Yeah, but this wasn’t just some regular married man hitting on an 18 year old waitress. OJ was super charming, famous, popular, athletic, talented, handsome, wealthy AND he love-bombed her big time, telling her he was getting a divorce.
Even before he met her, he told his best friend, I’m going to marry that girl. He was persistent and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
She fell hard and fast. No, it wasn’t right. But I can understand how hard he made it to say, “No.”

    • @joanofarcxxi
      @joanofarcxxi Місяць тому +10

@@toritori5835 Yes, exactly. But a lot of people in here (who believe they do everything right) are mad at Nicole. Even if Nicole was completely wrong for getting involved with a married man, she was a murder victim, but these people seem to not care at all about that. It's scary. The comments are contemptuous and imply that she deserved what she got - the justification being that OJ was married and had children. Nicole was not perfect, but she didn't deserve to be brutally murdered because she divorced OJ. That is the crux of the whole tragedy.

If OJ had not been rich and famous her parents and family would not have accepted him AT ALL! I think Nicole put up with their volatile relationship for as long as she did because her family depended on him and his $$. Her family knew what was happening and did nothing so they would not lose their cash cow! And every time her Mom lied in that interview about them accepting, learning to love him and the $$ her husband twitched and started scratching. The supported their 18 year old daughter’s decision to date an older, Black, married man??? Yeah right! Add rich and famous to that statement is why they did not drag her away from him. Nicole was no angel and her family were hypocrites and money hungry. Passion, jealousy and insecurity are a bad combination when you are still being intimate, having multiple lovers, possibly doing drugs and may drive almost anyone to the brink, But, certainly someone with anger and impulse issues questioning and witnessing them at the house he pays for. But, ultimately Nicole and Ron definitely did not deserve to die, especially so viciously and only their killer was responsible for the deaths.

But, because he had money and fame at the time they turned a blind eye to the messed up situation that was Nicole and OJ relationship. Also, by working with people in law enforcement for 14 years, I can tell you the horror stories of DV victims who were pressured to stay with their abuser because their family is being dependent on the abuser money.

This story of Nicole Brown Simpson is white washed. The people who put this piece together cleaned up her character. She knowingly taunted his then pregnant wife. She knew he was married and had young kids. She deliberately broke up a family. She was known as a party girl who used drugs. Even after becoming a mother it came out that she had wild parties where drugs were used and her young kids were present. Supposedly that was what set OJ off. She had been arrested on drug charges 30:11 that wasn't mentioned in this story. I remember hearing that on the news years before her death. No one deserves that ending but she wasn't the innocent little naive young housewife she's being portrayed as.

Thank you for sharing this unbiased view of Nicole Brown Simpson and I will try to honor it with open comments. I grew up as an O. J.Simpson fan. He was a huge charismatic football hero who transitioned after football to and Sports anchor, a pitchman for commercials and he portrayed an affable comedic actor in movies. He played to his strengths and they were always make yourself appear to be approachable and charming in public. O.J. was a master at this, but his private image did not mirror any of these things; he was a man that could be violent cruel and mean. He had a problematic childhood as you know and he did not put those demons to arrest and he loved the idea of trying to control a young beautiful woman. He had no business chasing an 18 year old.
Whether this 18 year old was open to dating him, isn't the argument, the focus is that he shouldn't have been crossing moral lines. He did that. He was married to a pregnant wife. He should have been home. The age imbalance, wealth and fame were manipulative and alluring to a young person struggling dreaming of the fairytales that Hollywood spends. Who wouldn't be starstruck? This is why young people are cautioned not to enter into these types of relationships. Even so, Nicole was responsible for her own actions, but she was pursued by a man who knew his way around fame, fortune and power dynamics with women hungry for the opportunities. He knew the score and she did not. She didn't stand a chance. For those who think of Nicole as being a "gold digger" or an Ex wife conflicted with moving on, so she brought this on herself; do not understand this behavior doesn't justify her murder. her life was stolen in a brutal manner along with her friend Ron Goldman. I'd like to ask O.J., What was it about her that he wasn't willing to let good of? I believe the truth lies in his desire to control her, and the lives of those attached to her.
I do believe he killed her and I do believe that he will answer to God for his actions, but I am glad that he did not die alone. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, But I truly wish that he had just left this woman alone to live out her life as a fulfilled mom and empowered woman. Her having a sexual life is none of my business. Nicole's actions were never on trail, O.J.'s were. My sorrow is for all of his children's. I mourn their shared trauma from this tragedy. I have mixed feelings about her family's duplicity in her death, because i do believe they knew about Nicole's and O.J.'s relationship struggles. They turned a blind eye to the violence and normalized it. Violence should never be normalized and when someone tells you who they are believe them. They failed her. The trappings of wealth, should never be put ahead of personal safety. I hosted a viewing party for my coo-workers in my home during the lunch hour verdict reading. They were mostly African-Americans who believed in O.J.'s innocence including myself. Our eyes were glued to O.J.'s face as the verdict was read. We all concluded after the reading that he was not innocent. Thank you for reviewing this sad twisted story of potential lives lost for all involved.

Her family was aware of the unhealthiness of her marriage BUT didn't intervene because they benefitted from the relationship too! However, even if they did try to step in would Nicole have listened? I am a little grossed out by some of the comments in here. Nicole was murdered. She was a victim of a violent crime. No one deserves that.
I was a new mommy when the trial was going on, on tv. At the time, I had a black boyfriend, and we watched the trial together whenever we could, if we were not working or at school. We both agreed that OJ was guilty way before the verdict. Why? Because everything pointed to him. He was super jealous of Nicole during their entire relationship, and he beat her. Of course, the parents knew they were having problems, but try to understand, before the OJ murder case, even the cops were super lenient towards dv. Back then, they would come to your place and tell you that you are married, you have children, you should get counseling and try to get along. Imagine that it's OJ. Everyone back then worships him. He beat Nicole severely enough, and the cops had enough complaints and evidence to make an arrest. She was terrified and had bruise all over. She wrote in her diary in several places that she was afraid he would end her life. He was very famous and a sports star, so men in particular were very fond of him. He could do no wrong. People were confused and in disbelief after this murder. Many didn't know what to think. OJ was very likable.
It's totally possible that Nicole's parents wanted them to work it out. For the sake of the kids, if nothing else. Back then, we didn't have all the info and support on domestic violence like today. It was AFTER the OJ trial that the cops got serious about arresting people for dv.
If the parents were benefitting from OJ's financial support, I never heard that until now. And if OJ supported them, it's his prerogative, but not any reason to give him the right to murder anyone.
Nicole was not a home wrecker. She was 18. Remember when you were 18? Naive, innocent, and immature. Idealistic. Trusting. Imagine, again, OJ is talking to you. He was a bonafide philanderer always. He knew how to talk to women, and how to get a young girl like Nicole. Piece of cake. Literally. About Nicole wanting to marry someone rich: so? Why is that wrong? Many women want that. She knew what kind of life she wanted to have. Unfortunately, OJ was the wrong rich husband. However, she really did love him, they had a strong bond. Which is why she tried so many times to work things out with him. She did try, and she did really love him. She had a diary and wrote everything in it. Some of her diary has been made public.
Did she party? Maybe. She was young. She felt controlled and repressed by this man. He was like her shadow, he was obsessed with her, even after they were divorced. He followed her everywhere. He accused her of horrible things. Perhaps he was projecting what he himself did. But anything like that is really difficult to prove either way. However, there is plenty of stuff she wrote about him being violent and her being scared. Did she do coca-cola? Possibly. Back then, a lot of people used substances when they partied. Did she have lovers? Possibly. She was divorced and a very beautiful woman. But even if she had done whatever partying she allegedly is accused of, did she deserve to be murdered?
Ron was a friend, and he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, he saw what he saw, so he was silenced. He fought hard. But you can't win against a knife. It was a horrific crime. If anyone was concerned about Nicole's alleged partying and how it might have influenced her children, wouldn't they think it's much worse their father murdering their mother? Those children were massively traumatized, which is why they have kept away from the public. They went through a very challenging time, very. It affected them deeply. They had some troubled behaviors. Hopefully, they have healed.
This is not about race. It's about a gruesome crime. May Nicole rest in peace. Maybe it's time to leave her alone now.

I was in my early 20's during the trial. I had a few older family friends and older BW co-workers at the time who had very little sympathy for Nicole due to the fact that she "stole" OJ from his first wife. I remember one co-worker who stated that the abused Nicole received from OJ was justified by her breaking up a marriage (she had very little sympathy for OJ but was okay with him being found not guilty). My concern at the time was why didn't her family encourage her to leave if he was abusing her.

Hey karine thanks so much for making this video! I definitely think a lot people got a weird feeling of Nicole stealing OJ from his first wife, but OJ explained in the Fox interview (2006) that coincidentally him and his first wife decided to separate and the very next day is the day he met Nicole at the cafe where she worked. I do not really buy that story as Nicole was an 18 year old and OJ was 30 years old at the time. It seems like she really fell for him since she was a young and beautiful girl, while OJ became obsessed from the start. So it would not surprise me if he gaslighted Nicole and made up some BS on how it was ok for them to be together when he was still legally married.

This is so tragic. Nicole was stunningly beautiful. I've read comments discussing her mistakes. I've made many mistakes myself and cannot judge her. It's a shame people don't have more respect and grace for someone who met such a terrible end.

This may be an unpopular opinion but as horrific as the crime was, I honestly dont thi nk OJ murdered them. I remember watching the news/trial in real time when it happened. She was no angel. There was more than a shadow of doubt at the scene and with the ' evidence'. I do feel for the children though. There I said what I said. Its my opinion that I'm entitled to.

Rick James said she was a party girl and told OJ not to marry her

She kept around in the same town driving fancy cars and dating for him to see her with all these men. she should have moved out of state like go to New York or something. her alimony could afford her too.

@kayanna Yes, I agree but maybe because of the kids. Things get complicated when kids are involved I'm thinking.

Can't exactly up and move out of state when children are involved. There are a lot of court hearings involved when a parent wants to move out of state. Child custody is a tricky territory.

They were divorced...why shouldn't she date who she wants? Was OJ checking with her to get her approval for the hundreds of women he was sleeping with/dating? The only thing is if she was bringing these men around her children.

Ironically, it's Ron's family who wants to sue for all the money they can get, which continues to this day.

I think you need to learn what ironic means. If one of your family members were killed in this way, would you want the killer profiting of it?

I mean he was a victim, too. His family doesn’t want his killer to profit. I’m sure most of us would do the same 🤷🏽‍♀️
