Farrah was a classically trained sculptor. She was a lady. A fine actress. More importantly she was kind. I visited her backstage in the NYC theater production of Extremities. Her costar made fun of my speech which he exaggerated in a gay manner. I was only in my early teens and felt humiliated. She immediately demanded he apologize to me, or that she would have him fired. He apologized. It meant so much to me. She was truly kind.

It just takes one person to infect you - your husband, boyfriend to give you HPV. It isn’t all about having lots of lovers. But your lover may have had lots of lovers or just one with HPV. She seemed a sweet, kind woman. RIP.

    • @frederickrapp5396

Farrah always took immaculate care of herself. She was an athlete who was extremely fit, and who ate very healthy and nutritious foods. She was the epitome of health and beauty. As far as who infected her? We must look at 3 men: Gregg Lott, Ryan O’Neal, James Orr. All of these men were either incarcerated, drug addicted, promiscuous, or physically and mentally abusive. Pick one, (in my opinion), if you’re looking for the guilty party. Finally, biologically speaking, the purpose of a human anus is to expel waste, not to receive a phallus. Tragically, Farrah was apparently either very careless, or not careful enough, with her libido. Her choice of sexual partners was perhaps a fatal flaw in her otherwise beautiful character. May this loving, kind, gentle, and sweet woman Rest In Peace for all eternity. She was an angel in every sense of the word.

Ryan was so jealous of her . He even beat his child Tatum . Tatum won a award as a child , so he punched his kid in the stomach. He even knocked his son's tooth out . He beat on Farrah a lot , don't know why she took the abuse .Her and Ryan's son , turned out a abused mess , he's in prison for being high on drugs and phycially harming complete strangers . It’s so wild for me to think how she was easily considered THE most beautiful woman in America at that time, how people would stop just to look at her all her life, that she was voted Most Beautiful and that the male students would change their schedule just to see her, and that - with all of that - her body was abused and beaten by her husband and by other men, that anàl-sex was part of her life contributing to càncer and death. 😪
When I see Kim Kardashìan, for example, and her extensive clothes collection, for instance , ... not picking on Kim exclusively😶 .... and thoshe enormous walk-in closets with the bags from childhood and the shoes on shelves like museum art, I think, this doesn’t go with how she treats herself.
Did she not understand how beautiful she was, all by herself...
pre-cosmetic procedures and surgeries.... pre-choices of men/ marriage partners and behavior with them.
If she treated herself as delicately, carefully, preciously and tenderly as she that purse from high school in a case, just how much different she’d literally look now and how different her life would look now.
I think of that with Farrah. She was smart with business negotiation. She was smart with her finances to leave to her family. It’s just sad to think Farrah deeply underappreciated Farrah. 😥

He was old fashioned and Ryan was pushing her to do what she wanted to do.

As a recent survivor of rectal cancer, I'd like to correct the misunderstanding that _all_ rectal cancer is caused by STD/HPV. According to medical research and confirmed by my oncologist, it is only *Rectal Squamous Cell Carcinoma* that is determined as caused by HPV. Squamous cell carcinoma occurs in the _lining_ of the rectum.

She came onboard the destroyer & stood on a stair landing offering the best view to the scene. I stood 2 or 3 feet from her on the landing for about an hour. Didn't look into her eyes or speak to her, nor her to me other than a quick smiling glance. Besides her beauty & stardom, I was stunned at how tiny her waist was. As a teen in the 70’s I admired Farrah so much she was just naturally beautiful and wasn’t stuck up or vain. I loved her even more for her portrayal as a battered wife in the burning bed as I too married a violent man and I felt she helped expose to the world these bullies and what it’s like to live in fear and be beaten by your husband. She became my heroine for doing that role. I was so upset for her when I found out Ryan was violent to her but was so proud of her when she left him nothing in her will. That must’ve hurt his massive ego good enough for him after treating her like that and also for wrecking his kids life.

One day, on a drive home up the loveliest of US coastlines I realized that no one NOT ONE SINGLE person I knew who was successful by most measures (rich/famous) was happy or... good. It was a brutal reckoning because as a kid who grew up poor in Detroit, I was living my dream but I knew I had to walk away or become 1) a monster or 2) someone who enabled monsters.

The writers were just as disgruntled with the formula writing as the actors, "but, I need a paycheck" said one
    who had a sick child.
Chatting with one of the drivers, I inquired,
    who of the 3 (angels)
is the nicest --without hesitation --Farrah, he
    replied. Very down-to-earth.

Farrah was a Southern girl and her and especially Tina Turner, were my favorite celebrities...Tina Turner because not only was she talented and beautiful, but because she didn't have hair on her legs 🤭... as a girl I saw a Poster of her downtown and I was shocked and amazed, that she didn't have hair all over her legs and thighs Why? Because my parents religion forbid women to cut they're hair or shave their arms pits, and legs...and I had never seen a black woman with smooth hairless legs, today I'm my own woman and I shave my pits and legs......Oh for them ladies shaving and cutting their hair was a sin, and if you did you were said to be going straight to Hell, and they were very serious....I kid you not 😁🤭😁.....🤷🏾‍♀️ 😂

I've known a couple of women who have gotten cancer from it years ago, and I had no idea that it could cause cancer way back then. Shame on the medical community for not making this a commonly known thing. I think the fact that it mainly affects women is the reason it was kept so quiet. Sad for so many women.
