Hello mam,
I am 25 year old and I'm a Type1 daibetic .
I take 15 units of Regular insulin( insugen R) in the morning.
And 15 units at the dinner time.
And long acting(basalog) 14 units at bed time..
My weight is only 48kg...and it's not increasing....
Please make a video on this topic how to gain weight in type1 diabetes...
I've another question can we change the type of insulin according to our comfort without asking doctor....
Some times I take insugen 30/70 with long acting (basalog) . Is it safe......

you should rotate every prick. so it should be a 5 prick cycle

u dont need to hold the plunger that long and u can re use needles many times. i use 1 needle per pen and have never had a single issue.

No, no, no. It's not" change your needles "often." You should never reuse a needle. Use a NEW needle every single time. Also, don't keep the plunger pressed rather take pauses and injecting slowly.
