I'm biased bc Enel is one of my favorite leaders/characters however, after some play testing, I think Kata is the better option to play in yellow in 06. Our time will come in 07
I think you’re missing the point on why they play moms over Enel. When your opponent is at 2 they will never trash do to fear of getting reject the turn after. That’s why I assume they shifted to big mom and in that case she’s more of a threat then Enel. You gain a life which you get a trigger, tankier, or another card in hand. They just won’t go down to one.
So, for me, Katakuri is not monetarily possible. What's a decent substitute for him? I know he is a huge part of the deck, but im not playing tournaments, so it doesn't need to be fully optimized
Out of 16 people in a local i got matched 4 rounds with all the people playing yellow. I ended up just forfiting my last two rounds because im getting sick of it every week, every store back to back. Doesnt matter if i win or lose im playing yellow to play another yellow. Best part about it is no one is toping out local with it so it's just annoying
Wow yeah i kind of love this decklist. Would you happen to run into any problems with lack of midrange often? Kinda like what happened with the back to back hiyori shirahoshi combos 😂. Ngl i kinda just love playing the ohm holy combo but having more top end in the deck just makes a little more sense at the end of the day. Also having shirahoshi instead of shura actually makse so much sense since 1 you have both hiyori and kat to put her back as well as dry playing her and you no longer run into the problem of bottom decking ur yamatos accidentally from shura Edit: spelling
There are times where the midgame feels a little weird if you don't find your Kikunojo/Gedatsu. For that reason, I do miss the Ohm + Holly combo, but as you mentioned the tradeoff is more consistency getting to your top end.

Enel and Enols are both menaces and pains but I try to make like a proton and stay positive 🙃
