Upcycle a salvaged fence to make DIY under deck storage. This outdoor project was a great way to add some needed storage and organization to our wood deck. With high lumber prices this was a perfect time to use reclaimed wood and it came together nicely. You just install lattice on a deck, but this modern DIY deck skirting looks way better IMHO.

Years back we re-did all the baseboard in the house and the 18ga brad nailer was a life saver. After hammering in nails to the first board I went and bought the thing. I also had a project that needed staples and got an air powered staple gun because the hand held one was a pain. Falls into the "best purchase ever" category.

You did a great job! I did a similar job to my friends back porch/deck in TN. I hate hand saws but I found most american hand saws work /cut on the push stroke. When you apply a pushing force the blade wants to bend on an america style saw so your cuts are wider and not straight! I bought a Kakuri Japanese pull saw! It cuts on the pull stoke! The blade is in tension and keeps a straight thin cut.
