I've listened to Nightfall Of Diamonds on YT dozens of times and this audio is better! Most of Hazard's videos have better audio than the box sets. I don't even care about the video. The band members were never all that beautiful to look at, especially Bob in his Daisy Dukes and Jerry in any shorts 🩳 🫣
I'm an 79 to 85 vintage listener. I was honestly surprised by the vibrancy here (little of which is translated to the cover band playing Vegas currently). Inserting newer songs, newer sounds (guitar synth), the pitch shift on Bob's voice on Let it Grow, crispness of sound, can actually hear the bass - can you really hear Oteil? (Phil was incredible here), Brent's presence moving toward the front of the mix (not a fan of most of his songs but his playing was lilting, and the drummers add lift, backbone and incredible Drumz (NEVER the time to take a pee or hotdog break). The performance looks pretty effortless and fun for the band. Always an unknown of what was haunting Mr. Garcia or where his addictions were lingering. Please world, for the sake of originality - NO MORE GD COVER BANDS!

He said, and I quote: “performing and going to shows was for nerds and no one should play this music publicly after I die. Especially not Bob and Phil, maybe Mickey sometimes”. He said. Also said “technological advancements in musical performance are stupid, back in my day alls we had was lights and guitars. That’s all you should ever have.” - Gary Garcia 8/8/95.
