- Chanel reformulated their Ultra Le Teint Foundation and their Concealer and Concealer Correctors....now I want to make sure you all know that I am a concealer snob and that this reformulated Concealer and Corrector did not come through for me (which you'll see why in the video). The foundation was a pleasant surprise and those of you with oily skin are going to love this foundation, it is similar to Cle de Peau Matte foundation at half the price!

I love Chanel’s concealer and I’m 58. I like that it’s self setting so I don’t have to powder it. It’s the only concealer that doesn’t crease on me. I do use Chanel’s eye cream, maybe that’s the key.

So appreciate your expertise and review Cheri! This foundation is my HG, so I'm glad to hear the new re-formulation improved it, and not messed it up. I also don't care for the Chanel concealer under my eyes, and just use it to spot treat. Meh! What do you like then for concealer? I've been using the Pat McGrath concealer & Sisley with success!
I love the reformulated foundation. The concealer and Correcteur’s really work for me. Maybe because I am excessively oily all the time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this….you clarified I had the wrong Chanel Foundation for my dry skin….I looked for your recommendation of the Chanel Vitalumiere and it’s out everywhere….I hope they bring it back. All I found was the Ultra light sunscreen.

So far I’ve found the Pat M concealer to be the best. I’m 60 normal to oily. I have a little darkness on the outer under my right eye with a few creases on the inner under both eyes.

@@CHERIVOYAGE Nars Radiant Creamy looks worse on me than this Chanel one due to all the powders they put in it. As soon as it dries down I can literally see every speck of powder. I can't find anything that looks decent on me. Even IT and Kosas look dry once they set and that's before adding a setting powder which I cannot do without looking like crepe paper. The only concealer I've found that doesn't make me look dry under my eyes is Tarte Creaseless and that's because it's so emollient it never even dries down. But the problem with it is then I'm left with a shiny undereye and that draws attention to my wrinkles. I'm thinking of trying microneedling under my eyes. Not sure what else can help reduce texture and wrinkles so I don't look like a 90 y/o woman after concealer is applied.
That’s how I feel about Tarte shape tape, it literally ages me 20 years, god awful! 🧟♀️
I’m kind of bummed that the reformulated concealer is still unflattering. Hmm. Thanks for the heads up! I love Kosas revealer concealer /eye cream, my current fave-Have you used it? I can’t recall. I’m a concealer snob too, I feel ya!!!
The le Teint base looks fabulous, especially on camera.

I’m so glad I came across your video! I own this concealer and do not like it! I wanted to love it so bad because it is a Chanel (come on!), so pricey and I just couldn’t believe it didn’t work on my skin. I always wondered what I was doing wrong… all my complaints are the same! This really emphasizes my fine lines and is very drying. 😔

The foundation looks so lovely! Pity that the concealer didn't work for you. I bought it a few months ago (older version) and find it works better than my Dior one, under my eyes - stays in place, brightens etc. The Dior one just settles straight away, accentuates every line and worsens throughout the day! I don't have dry skin like yourself. Maybe eye cream would help? Great review, like hearing your thoughts.

Would using a moisturizer and eye cream help? As someone with dry skin myself, I always have to layer on the serums and moisturizer and spf under my foundation or concealer and it gives my base products a "dewy slip" and the hydration on the skin makes everything glide and lay so beautifully
I find that a moisturizer makes it slide into the lines faster
This foundation is beautiful when mixed with the radiance laura mercier foundation .😁

I will stick with my Giorgio Armani luminous silk concealer, which I bought on your recommendation. I love it for my more mature skin. Is there a soft mat or satin foundation you would recommend for dry to very dry skin? Or would this foundation work for very dry skin if you moisturise well?
@@CHERIVOYAGE Thank you for your recommendations. I wear Armani luminous silk in the winter, it does not lay well over sunscreen in the summer. I will try the Lingerie de Peau. A good foundation recommendation always makes me happy.😁

Love seeing you use the Artis Brush - hardly see anyone using it anymore and I am totally with you, it applies so many foundations just flawlessly.
Darnit, I wish that concealer would have been dewier… I have the pink color corrector that I bought last year from Chanel. I’ve heard great things about the new Lancôme concealer… Have you tried that one? Thanks for your HONEST review of this product.. I won’t be re-purchasing it.

A very hydrating skin care routine..maybe a drop of oil…would keep it beautiful but help with any issues with to much dryness

I'm not exaggerating when I say at this point I'd be happy if that's what my undereyes looked like after concealer! I'm 51 and my undereyes look a hot crepey wrinkley mess no matter what concealer or corrector I use, and I've tried countless! So if you have come across any correctors or concealers that don't emphasize lines and wrinkles please share! And I can't put as much on under my eyes as you did. I put like one dot in the inner and outer corners of my undereyes and pray for a miracle that never comes!
@@CHERIVOYAGE I do use eye cream underneath but I'll try the one you recommend which I've never heard of. How do I set it and keep it from fading or moving around? Powder always makes me look much older, dryer, and looks cakey no matter how light of an application. But setting spray has alcohol in it so I don't think that's going to help with hydration. Have you found a way to set concealer on your clients with mature skin with lots of texture and crepey wrinkles that will make the look last sll day? I am willing to try anything at this point lol.

I don't know, I like Chanel more than Sisley $100 one. I bought 3 at the same time like 4 month ago. Always reach for Chanel and never for Sisley so I took Sisley back and kept 2 Chanel beige and pink color. Also, did not like Sisley loose powder that supposedly super good but it did not work for me, go figure 😄

There’s nothing as aging as a drying concealer... I've never found a Chanel concealer that worked for me.

@@CHERIVOYAGE can you recommend anything to me. Chanel has a water tint which is brilliant but it it’s less than a tint. Feels amazing though but your skin has to be like flawless to even achieve pulling it off

Why would you apply a concealer with just "toned" skin? Not even a moisturizer? Let's not even go to using an eye cream... you pretty much set yourself to failure for this one :/

Probably because she’s dry skin it’s best for oily skin
