Bill Hader talks literary, cinematic influences on 'Barry'

(12 Apr 2023) While Bill Hader is reluctant to advertise the influence that Russian literature has had on his Emmy-winning series, the creator and star of “Barry” disclosed that novels like "Anna Karenina” and “War and Peace” played a significant role in his creative process when he set out to make the show. The fourth and final season of the HBO comedy series premieres April 16.
